Well I had a GR8 day bo slip ups or cheats!Me and my daughter went for a 2 mile walk with the dog it really wasn't a pleasent walk because she was mad at me for yelling at her about being late coming home she plays up the street with the lil girl and I said 9pm or dark well it was 9:20 and dark grrrrr,anyhoo she hates to walk she's kind of going through a lazy phase which isn't good.

I went tp pass out snacks at snack time and they had NEMO orange push pops sherbert ice cream heck I traded in my 100 cal popcorn for it because
it had ONLY 90 cals 0 fat woohooo!
Ok I am off here hope tomorrow goes as smooth as today did!:jump: TAMMY
 
Hi Tammy!!! I am still here!! I have been so busy!!! I keep up on reading though even if I don't always get a chance to comment:) I am glad to see you had a good day today. I am back to aiming for around 1200 cals too. I just need to keep on going until I get to my goal!! You sound like your old self again with the food... well old self as I remember when I first joined this forum;) I am glad things are getting on track and that one bad food day will be forgotten I am sure as you do better. Weekends are killers!! I have the same problem. Something about too much time on my hands and just wanting to relax and take a break! However it's the beginning of the week and you can do it! Don't focus too much on the 2lbs per week. I know you have a little extra this week and if you don't get it don't sweat it too much. October is a long way away and if you stay strong you could go down more than two some week and catch up... if that makes sense lol. I am very tired and feeling long winded! My boyfriend is out of town too so lonely girl is reaching out:) I hope you have a good night and a great day tommorow and the next and so on and so forth!

I kind of like the 2 lbs a week because I know it can be done and it keeps me looking forward to the 160's/150's ,I swear just to be a size 10 would be gr8 I am sick of the 14's I have wore those since Oct last year and have fell off so many times I should have been there by now,it aggervates me.

Also I haven't really shared this with anyone but I have been having problems with my 6 year old son I am NOW starting to think he may have ADHD he is so overly hyper which I can handle if that was all he does but I honestly think he enjoys hurting others,thats his entertainment.Here are a few exapmles Lastweek he through a toy on purpose and hit the 3 year old in the head because he wouldn't move from the toybox needless to say he had a nice gash ok the 1 I babysit went to potty so he turns the light off holds the door so he won't get out.Now this has been going on since he was 2-3 he has hurt his sisters so much so last year he pushed my oldest and she almost went out the 2nd floor window instead her head busted out the glass and the angles must have been watching because she didn't have a cut on her and didn't fall out the window.Thats the major stuff there is also petty stuff such as taking things out of peoples hands not listening just litterally bouncing off the walls!!!I have done time outs grounded him from video games and playing upstairs with the other kids,butt whoopings and nothing he's back at it again.Now he would do well in school until the last 2 weeks of school I got a letter from the teacher saying he wouldn't raise his hand wouldn't stay in his seat breaking crayons on purpose!!

Geeesh so I have been stressed and debating if I should call his family doctor I have putt it off and hoped it was a phase but I dunno now.His uncle is totally against putting kids on medication and I almost agree but what do you do? He had a longgg talk with him lastnight so I am hoping other family members talks will help?

As far as dieting I am still on track and I having a gr8 day...I plan to get my booty out for a walk after sunset again because I actually enjoyed it lastnight again.Have a gr8 day and TY for taking the time to read my storie,Tammy

Hey tammy...... I have been going through the same thing with my son. He just bounces off the wall and if he has some candy or a coke he really goes into over drive lol. I really need to have him tested but kinda afraid what the doctor is going to say...........

OMG Tammy! my little one is the SAME WAY!! She LOVES to hurt other people. We learned this from a very young age. When she was just old enough to laugh, all it would take is my oldest DD to pretend to get hurt and the baby would die laughing! She's still like that today!

I feel for ya, I know how you feel!! maybe the 1st step would be to find out if he actually has adhd. worrying about weither to put him on meds or not is pointless unless you know if he even has it. I have a friend whos' son has adhd and she fought the medicine for a long time,but she gave in and gave it to him...she said he's alot easier to deal with now.

First things first Tammy...just get him tested and then worry about the other part, ok?

Calling the doctor isn't a bad idea, but too many doctors are too quick to overmedicate children... Sometimes it's necessary, but there's been a lot written recenly about children's diets - if it's rich in sugar or processed foods, that shoudl be changed.. there might be a drastic change in his behavior.
 
Hi Tammy! I am sorry to hear about your kiddo:( I agree with the diet issue Mal touched on! A doctor can tell you for sure then and at least then you will know and can decide the next step! That's scary about the second floor window!!

I'm sorry for the problems with your child. I can tell you that overmedicating kids is a horrible epidemic in this country. However, I've also seen the opposite--parents who have a 13 year old child who is totally incapable of concentrating or controlling his own behavior and who is frustrated and angry at himself for his problems. The parents just hope the problem will go away on his own. Seeing a doctor is an important step, but you are right to be wary of medication. Finding out the doctor's philosophy on this is a key step. Find a good doctor and it'll work out. There are things you can do at home to help teach empathy. I know at school one thing, I do try and do with kids who have a difficuly in this area is to give them responsibility. It seems to help.
 
Thank you all very much I may that doctor appointment I was debating though to go ahead let him start school and see how he does?
Meanwhile I took my 8 year old daughter to see the dentist and whoe BAD news there to geeesh,they want her to see orthopedic and the bad thing is I have a medical card for my kids and the closest place that acceots that is 2 hours away,Anyway they are talking about pulling 4 of my daughters "PERMENANT" teeth to make room in there because her mouth teeth are so crowded and she already has a couple baby teeth that barely have room so when her adult teeth come in there will be even less room the teeth they wanna pull are her premollers?
OK then after that and her teeth start moving ect then braces so a LONGGGG process and more stress!!!!My son had an OK day just the basics don't do that and don't do this but no one got hurt yayyyyy....
I walked 2 miles but hAD A CHICKEN CORDON BLU and a fry Other than that I waited to late to eat 8pm by then I was starved I promised my daughter I would watch her cheerlead practice which we went to str8 from dentist to I also whound up giving 1/2 my food away sand and the fry so I am guesstamating 800 cals+1100 =1900 cals maybe 2,000 topps.

Ok no luck finding an orthodontist that accepts medical card???
I am doing gr8 on my diet tho I had brunch cuz I slept late again

what was up with him. Hey I wanted to share on my findings on some
of not so healthy foods that actually aren't bad in the calore and fat
department.My Breyers strawberry cheese cake ice cream I love is only
160 cals 8 fat per serv and theres 4 servs,also I bought a 8 pk of reesse
cups 80 cals 4.5 cals for 1 so for 2 160 cals 9 fat these total my Weight
Watchers deserts I have and the others are way cheaper so my point is you ever hear that sating"you can't have your cake and eat it to well in this case you can hahahaha just wanted to share.
BRUNCH
3 serv egg beaters w/ canadian bacon and FF cheese in a freezer bag for cooking (200 cals)2 pieces lite wheat toast(80 cals)1 mini sunny D(100 cals)

sara lee ice cream (160 cals)

Hey girl menu and calories look good. Alot of candies and such arent really that bad, we have just forgotten how much 1 portion is.......

DON’T let your sons uncle or anyone else decide what is best for you or your kids hun, your there mum and I no you wouldn’t be thinking of this lightly getting a doctors opionion or several doctors opinions wouldn’t hurt.

Getting back on track can take a little bit of work sometimes but you will do it. I have found cheeses biscuits and some pre packaged foods in other brands are better than the weight watches brand and soooo much cheaper. Do you have a ww calculator?

yea same here. when I was stuck on my back after the surgeries my favorite snack was a ben and jerry's peanut butter cup ice cream and wash that down with some chocolat milk. At times we just don't think.......
 
Well I walked to and from my kids coaches pitch game(2miles)
I did good all day except the 2 srtawberry poptarts I snuck in tonight

BADDDDDDDDDD well today was our last game besides the all star game
this sunday well guess who out of all the teams down there didn't get

Excellent with walking there and back - and chin up buttercup at least with all your are worrying abt you are binging and over indulging and such - your keeping it together:D:D:D Be very proud of yourself - Im sorry I havent been around to much - you are so great at supporting me - I need to stop slackin Tammy!!!
 
Hey tammy don't beat yourself up about the pop tarts. As far as bad choices it could have been worse. You dont look like you totally blew your calories out of the water.

Sugar cravings can be a real beach.
