Going to try to cycle calories and eat 1,600 today (Ate 1,200 saturday and sunday, will eat 1,200 tomorrow and wednesday)

Congratulations Success on another pound! If my math is right that makes 16 pounds lost! See why I don't get on the scale very often? Fluid retention, BM's, cosmic rays...I don't know what else...they make that scale fluctuation! You're doing great...just keep at it and don't give up even when there are little bumps along the way!

Looks like you are doing great...you have a very disciplined approach to your food diet...I remember when you passed the 30 day mark and you were really happy about it...now look at you...67 days. Good job! You might need to be in the market for a new scale...that one of yours seems to float all over the place! Keep making those good choices and the weightloss will come! Sometimes slow, sometimes fast...but it will come!

Thanks so much Sarah! I actually just bought a new scale, I think it might be my cycling of calories that causes the weight to go up and down.


Day 68


Ate at a mexican restaurant today. So my diet kind of went to hell! Had enchiladas supremas (but w/ no sour cream!) 4 enchiladas, 1 with beans, 1 with beef, 1 with cheese, and 1 with chicken. Opted out of the side of rice though. And the side of beans. But I did have a lot of chips and salsa.


For dinner I had 250 calories of Pasta.. and 70 calories of pasta sauce, and about 200 calories of other snacking...


Tomorrow's a new day :)
 
Haven't updated for the last two days guys. Let's just say I've had HORRIBLE days of eating. Had family in town... the routine of taking them out to eat, making festive foods at home, etc...just bad bad bad days! Filled with chocolate...carbs...candy...late night snacks...and soda. But I did try on old clothes that didn't fit me, and now they do :) Plus my family in town kept commenting on how great I look..my skin has cleared, my face looks different..and I've lost so much weight. felt fantastic to hear!!


Back on it...tried to get back on today, but will be 100% back on tomorrow.

But tomorrow... will be back on 1,200
 
AYour scale isn't wrong. You should weigh yourself when You first wake up. That will give your body time to digest food and get rid of water weight built up from physical activities. My weight is always 3lbs higher during the day. As long as it's the same or lower when I wake up the next day, I don't care about the rest of the day. :)

Thanks Imani :) I think you're right... And as long as I weigh in consistently in terms of whether I do it at night or during the day, I should get appropriate results

Hey Success, Sorry I havn't been around much...I was sick (nothing serious, just a killer cold and ear infection...better now!) and didn't log on or exercise any myself...hang in there.and get yourself back in the groove and put 1 day on top of the other and before you know it you'll have a week back on track and start seeing results again! For me, I can't eat sweets and see results..so that 1/4 snickers bar...is probably not helping you...no matter how many calories it is...sweets just tell my body to start packing it on!

Sarah!! I'm glad you're feeling better :) thanks for stopping by! I hven't been updating my diary...but I'm happy to report it has been because I've been busy, not because I've been slacking! I've been very conscious of what I've been eating...although I HAVE had a few bad days.


I agree with you... even if you stay within calories, chocolate is just no good! And it's addicting... if i don't have any at all. I'm fine without it...but if I have even a little bit, I crave and end up eating more!! I'm still trying to shake off the chocolate binge.

I think you are right about it being a bad calorie count for the day but to me it looks like it's on the low side of what you should be eating. You're body is probably going into starvation mode at this point as you've been eating way too few calories based upon your diary entries.


You might want to search for some calculators out there that will tell you how many calories your body needs on a daily basis. Try searching for BMR calculators (fat2fitradio . com) have some decent ones. Eating too few calories for too long can cause really messed up long term consequences.
