Thank you size. I usually stay between 1,000-1,200 but with the caloric cycling I try to go up to 1,600 a few days...we'll see how well it works!

went to a buffet with the parents and my brother AGAIN today!!! But this time i'm not that worried about it. I normally eat around the calories i'm supposed to and I think this will actually help my calorie cycling goals which have been difficult for me to meet.


Grabbed some pasta (this time made it myself instead of letting the chef make it with loads of butter, olives, pasta sauce, AND oil. Also took small portion just like at home)

1 medium slice of cheese pizza

Fried rice w/ eggs

about 5-6 mini tortilla chips with a little bit of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and a little guac

2 spring rolls

1 cookie

A little bit of bread pudding


Tomorrow definitely going to intake only 1,200 calories. More than likely Monday the same. :)

Finally bought a new scale. I don't know how accurate or inaccurate it is in comparison to the last one but it shows I'm at 233 pounds. That means I've only lost 5 lbs in the last month+


I'm trying not to get too discouraged, because even though I've been eating a consistent amount of calories, I wasn't cycling the amounts until recently. Hopefully that helps and I get back on the work out wagon.

Congratulations on the 5 pound loss..it may not seem like alot, but every pound adds up. Keep up the good work and I'm sure you'll continue to see results! When you get back to consistent exercise, you'll see more of it go!

From what I've seen scales tend to be pretty inconsistent from one to the other so it's quite possible that you've lost more than the 5 pounds reported and from this point on your new scale should be able to give you an accurate count.


How did last week's exercise challenge go for you? Saw that you got at least one training session on the elliptical in plus another activity on the same day which is great. Looking to hit another goal this week yet?

I definitely need to get back to exercising regularly. I didn't hit my goal Feelinggooder, but thank you for asking. I only ended up getting on that thing 1 time last week. But this week just started right?

I BLEW IT TODAY!!! ate that huge breakfast... thinking i'd try eating a bigger breakfast so I wouldn't be too hungry the rest of the day. Made no difference what so ever from when I don't eat breakfast! I ended up eating wayyyyyyyy too many calories already...and it's only 7 pm. YIKES! So upset with how today went. going to walk for a while. But SO not happy.

not sure WHAT is wrong with me!!!!!! For a month and a half...I was doing AMAZING... and now it's hard to even stay within calories. Maybe it's because I haven't seen good weight loss in a while, but it's counter productive to fall back because of that!!!! But for the last few days, I've been binging at night for absolutely NO reason!!!!! I had about 1,100 calories for the day...(my goal was to be around 1200) I ate two small pieces of pizza...and a pb and j sandwich. I probably ate 1600-1700 calories, and put 400-500 of them on within 10 minutes.

OK, so you've eaten some...it's done, you can't change it...so now, just start again! It's not the end of the world!


Thanks for stopping by my diary. I don't have any magic solutions to the infamous plateaus we all face. I choose to think it's my body's natural setpoint getting reset at various times along the path to what should be my best physical condition around my goal weight. The best thing I can tell you is don't obsess about the number on the scale...easier said than done I know! As you know I only weigh in once a month...and I didn't weigh at all for the 1st 4 months of this journey...so my only feedback was the fit on my clothes...and I knew I was losing, so that was good enough for me. In order to do that, you need to be very very consistent...continue making good food choices (not pb&j sandwiches and pizza!) and exercising. I always find that I eat less when I exercise!! For the first 4 months I averaged 10 pounds/month loss according to the math, (difference between where I started and when I finally did get on the scale), then it went to an average of 7 pounds/month, and now it seems to be inching towards 4 pounds/month...I'll get to my goal...won't be as quick as I had initially thought...but I'm not going off my program for anything until I get there! (I'm just that way...when I make my mind up to do something, and I can control the variables...it's generally going to happen...I thank my parents for that!)


So... Stay with it...and don't you quit, don't you quit, don't you quit!! The weightloss will come..not as fast as you want...but it will come...I'm living proof!

My weight stayed at 209 for about 2 weeks. so I know how it feels when it doesnt seem to move. it will go down. usually its because of breads it seems. anyway keep up the good work. you have been doing really well. just need to get back to it. you can do it!

Size- Thanks, you might be right about the bread! Although I think I'm going to have to incorporate some bread into my diet at least once or twice a week bc honestly, I don't eat much meat..and it's hard to stay without any of it!
 
Weighed in today at 233 this morning. Which is weird because just yesterday afternoon I weighed in at 236, then again I had a horrible day of eating on Friday but ate between 1,100-1,200 calories yesterday.
