Stopinthe excuses & starting a diary

I hope you have an awsome time. Good for you getting prepared, with foods and stuff. We did not prepare. We went shopping once we got up there. After a 7 hour drive we were all starving and loaded the baskets with junk. I gained like 7 pounds in a week! CAREFUL! Otherwise, enjoy your vaca!
And watch for the critters, even something as harmless as a bird can ruin your day, by crappin on it!
 
Thanks for all the nice words to all of you... Im baaaaaccccckkk...didnt do too badly but I did put on 4 lbs..uggh... I think its more or less water weight gain..so Im hoping a couple of days of salads & water ..ill be ok.

Today Im back on track & on fire. Unfortunately my sciatica is still really bothering me..its been a month now..not sure whats up.

B: 2 slices of wheat bread w/ jelly & cream ch ( 1tbsp total)
coffee w/ sugarfree creamer

S: handful of peanuts w/ handful of raisens

L: salad w/ all the fixins & turkey & lots of veggies,
for dessert 1 slice of angel food cake sugar free w/ ff whip cream & mandarin oranges

S: soy latee sugar free

D: taco salad w/ 2 hard tacos chopped up in the salad for the crunch..lots of veggies though.

Exercise: 1hr hike - got totally soaked...it poured w/ in half the hike
1/2 hr weights, abs & stretches

water 90 oz
Totally pissed about the 4 lbs... very unhappy w/ myself..I did kayak & go walking and biking..thank goodness ..cuz obviously the few indescresions were more than i thought! I think its more the couple beers here and there...oh well..we had a really great time...but now reality has hit me hard & its time to get back on the horse & beat it!
 
it was great... I put some pics on the website of the place we stayed..it was nice & relaxing..but not the best food choices all the time!

B: oatmeal w/ cinn, pears & 2 tsp brown sugar, 1 lowfat blueberry muffin
cofee w/ non fat milk

S: handful of nuts w/ some raisens

L: omelet w/ spinach, mushrooms, onions & some cheddar, 2 slices of whole wheat toast
fresh fruit mix

D: roasted veggies w/ chicken....side of taboli
1 glass of soy milk

exercise: 45 min elliptical
water 90 oz
 
Tuesdays food....

B: oatmeal w/ cinn & banana, 1 low fat muffin
coffe w/ soy milk

L: salad w/ beans & 1 low carb protein shake

S: handful of nuts w/ some raisens

D: grilled chic w/ snap peas & asparagus
1 cup of soy milk

1 cup decaf tea, water 90 oz

exercise: went biking 45 min


Today-Wed

B: egg beaters scrambled w/ 2 slices of whole wheat french toast
soy milk w/ coffee

L: leftover ground turkey w/ veggies & beans
handful of kettle chips

D: 1.5 country style ribs on the grill w/ bbq, lite cole slaw & asparagus

tea - decaf

water 100 oz

Exercise: did weeding for 1 hr... elliptical for 30 min
 
Thurs

Food
B: scrambled eggs (2) w/ 2 saus links, fruit fresh (cantalope & some watermelon)
soy milk w/ coffee

L: salad w/ grilled chic & pepper jack cheese w/ ff french
soy milk 1 cup

S: 2 slices of thin n trim ham w/ soy cheese & some lite coleslaw 1/2cup

D: chinese food...but trying to do the healthy way...chic w/ veggies in garlic sauce, boneless ribs & 2 chic wing...just a taste of rice ( im going to try-its my fav)

water: 90 oz
1 cup of decaf tea in the evening
Exercise: going out right now for a bike ride w/ the kids for 1/2 hr...probably do the elliptical later
 
Hey it looks like you're doing great! I have a taste in my mouth for Chinese too, I'm thinking I might get some tomorrow. I get brown rice, so I don't feel bad about eating it. Lots of veggies and tofu. Yum! Keep up the good work!
 
Our place here doesnt do tofu dishes which stinks cuz i would totally get it. Thanks..I ended up only having about a half cup of rice..not too bad & then I did about 30 min of exercise after - some elliptical & weights and abs..so i didnt feel so bad

Today is Tuesday right..yikes what day is it anyway..who am i?

B: oatmeal w/ banana & 1 oz dark choc..needed a choc fix :-D

L; spinach salad w/ shrimp lite mayo w/ cocktail sauce... w/ tomato & 1 slice of rye bread

S: 1/2 a pbj...jeez lots of bread today

D: 1 steak n cheese w/out the bread :-D lots of veggies

dessert: 1 smore ( 1 graham cracker, 1 oz dark choc, 2 marshmellows)
decaf tea

water 100 oz

Exercise: 1 hr biking w/ kids
30 min on elliptical & did ab work ( another 10 to 12 min)
 
Love the elliptical... really do. I try to use it 3 to 4 times a week..and im biking right now..not walking as much. How r you doin? how is the home situation?

Exercise: 30 min on elliptical this morning, did weights for upper body
Also went for a hike about 1.5 hrs carrying the baby on my back
 
Your doing great K, i need to use mine more but i still love it!, hiking with a kiddo on your back wow major work out there! good for you :)
(eh home stuff is not the greastest right now,but i know itll all work out one way or the other in the end :confused: )

Doing awesome K, i need to keep the cals in check too...hmmm maybe it has to do with the colder weather coming(id find an excuse for anything lol) your doing great on the exercise keep up the good work girl!!! :)
 
giggled when I read for dinner you had meatless meat sauce! can you just call it sauce? tee hee
You are doing good.... damn I want an elliptical!
