Stopinthe excuses & starting a diary

OK...busy weekend..but I was really good w/ my food in general..and worked out alot this weekend ... I also took 2.5 hrs on sat to put together my Elliptical together & hooray! I used it yesterday morning & I will be using it tonight. I love it! It would have gone together easier if i had read the directions first... my hubby always says im aweful about that & it always bites me in the butt!
OH well, I did it & he didnt have to do anything... lucky slob.
We also hiked yesterday on top of my workout so i felt great about myself.
food today
B: oatmeal w/ sliced pears & 1 tbsp BSugar
coffee w/ lite cream

L: veggie burrito & spinach

S: handfull of nuts & fruit
iced coffee w/ milk

D: grilled chic sausages w/ veggies

Mmm, a garden frittatta sounds amazing. Do you make them? I have no idea how to make them, but it sounds so good. You are doing totally awesome. Your food looks so good! And that's great about the elliptical, I wish I could buy one. I'm probably going to buy a bicycle. You're really doing terrific and you're an inspiration. How much have you lost?
 
Ive lost about 28 since Jan... but now im kinda hangin..and not moving much..but thats been mostly my fault. thanks Funky... I do make the fritata...wicked easy actually. I sauteed my veggies w/ some pam & when they start to look cooked thru I pour over the egg..or you can use egg substitute..Its up to you how much you use as to how many people your feeding.. I preheat my oven to 400..of course the egg is beaten w/ some milk or whatever you use...soy even ..although never tried it. They after the egg has cooked onto the pan..almost like a big omelet and yet is still uncooked at the top you take the whole frying pan and put it into the oven for about 10 to 20 min depending on how many eggs you use. Mine i usually use about 6 eggs for my little family & it takes 10 to 13 min in the oven...They are nice w/ a salad and a nice easy dinner. Im going to try egg substitute probably tonight in one...Im going to do a tomato basil one & maybe add some chic or something.

Ok...Ive decided if my family needed to earn money off my basket ball skills we'd all be in deep doodoo...I played w/ my 8 yr old instead of using my elliptical and we played one on one for about 45 min...got a great sweat on & laughed our butts off... I only got 12 baskets in nearly an hr...wow! Watch out shaq!
Anyway...went swimming at 9pm at the lake & it was awesome...My son thought I was the best mom ever.
Feeling back on track...thank goodness...Went for my 3.5 mile walk this morning...nice morning since today is going to be hazy hot & yuck!

glad you like the elliptical and your back on track you go girl!!!!sounds like you had a blast playing with your son(isnt that the whole point anyways lol)plus bonus you sweated yeehaw!!!dunno how id do at it havent played since high school lol :p

LOL.. thanks L... I am glad to be back on track...Ill be glad for the muggies to get out of here as it makes it sucky for doing the cardio. I think im gonna workout here tomorrow morning on my elliptical instead of going for my walk...better workout & I have AC!
 
Wow! thats so weird!!!!lol ive been doing that for the past week now....my H says im psychic lol or psycho one or the other he hasnt decided yet :p using the elliptical woohoo... a/c man im jealous!!!my H says we dont "need" one...duh but i want ares put in!!!ah well summer is almost over anyways :(

D: garlic chic & veggies, chic fried rice 1 cup, 3 crab rangoons

water 120 oz

exercise: walked 1 hr 3.5 miles
did arm weights 2 sets of 15 reps

B: whole wheat english w/ apricot
butter & PB
coffee w/ lowfat creamer

S: 1 apple w/ a slice of cheese

L: salad w/ turkey
1 glass of soy milk

S: cukes w/ salt & pepper

d: not sure yet


exercise: 45 min cardio-30 min elliptical, 15 mn push ups, leg work, squats etc... 15 min stretch 1hr total

L: 2 cold chic drumsticks, leftover cooked veggies

S: handful of triscuits 1 tbsp goat cheese

D: 1/2 chic breast grilled, 1 cup of roasted summer sq & zucchini

Exercise: 30 min on elliptical -did arm weights - 2 sets of 15

Monday
havent dropped a lb in like 2 weeks..uggh

oh well, keep goin

D: I think we are doing a cereal or leftovers night... I think Ill be having a little of this and that w/ a salad..not sure

Hey K looking Good!!!i havent dropped any weight either really gets frustrating after a while. i figure keep it up somethings gotta give! :) going on a trip???
 
Yes..we are leaving sat mid day to go up north..rented a cabin on the lake in the mountains..Its gorgeous & relaxing there.. I just worry there will be too much sitting around snackin so Im going to bring my mountain bike which i haven ridden in forever and bringing my hand weights & stuff...Id bring my elliptical if i could fit it :-D
I know ive been slippin up here and there but my cal are still low so you'd think my body would kick in...oh well..im not givin up ...gotta keep tryin
Going to try no carbs after noon this week..we will see how that goes.

Exercise: 30 min on treadmill...did 6.3 miles averaged 14.4 mph...not too bad... then did 15 min of arm weights & abs

You arent kidding..we just had a women attacked by a black bear in maine..hello! I wont be going alone I can tell you that! thanks!

We leave sat mid day..cant wait..but of course now I have to plan things & pack and buy the food and prep it so i dont have all crap to eat & so that I wont have to cook all week either...uggh...always alot of work but it will be worth it.

Ooh, cabin on the lake, that sounds nice. You might end up getting more exercise than you think. Keep it up! :)
 
Lol mate most of Stephen kings books are based in Maine and im sorry to say that not much good happens in them. It will be definitely be on my places to visit if I ever get over there.
 
lol i thought you were leaving right away lol duh lack of sleep!! are you going for a week? good stuff planning ahead for it :) , tofu dogs??? they healthy?? i know i like em lol we have Yves brand here and theyre very good :) mountain bike too your all set hope you have a wonderful time!!!
