Thanks..Im getting kind of the negative responses from family..but im ignoring them. They think im silly to take tennis...i dont look the "tennis type" etc ..i fall down easy..whatever they want to say to try to derail me. It amazes me how really f-d up they are! I find it amazing they want me to get healthy and strong..but dont leave the f-in house!
 
rest of my food today..way way under my cal... woops. im like 500 under
Snack in afternoon: granola bar & 1/2 cheese stick

Dinner: 6" sweet onion teriyaki chic subway no cheese, 1 8oz glass skim milk

Snack: late nite..after tennis.. 1 apple w/ 2 tbsp PB

I went for a 1 mile hike w/ the kids (carrying the baby) at 3pm and then I played 2 hrs of tennis..Im a bit sore and stiff now that ive sat a bit..but man am i proud of myself for this!
 
Don't let your family get to you. You're doing wonderful, and tennis is a great way to enjoy your exercise. Keep it up and remember we're behind you 100%
 
K you strong woman! way to go, im so glad you went for it and didnt let your family get you down. you are trying so many difrent things im so proud of you. i dont care if your not the tennis type, i know youll get there and im behind you 100% of the way!! im soooo exited for you :D :D :D :D
 
You guys rock..really and truly..I so look forward to everyones posts..and it makes me feel really good. I have to say when I left last nite I kept saying to myself.."you are awesome, you did it and you did well...you should be proud of you" and i do and i did. I was sore last nite but this morning I was fine. I definetely paid for my low cal yesterday when it all hit me this morning..I had a major low blood sugar attack and havent had one in a long time. I ate some complex carbs and protein and felt much better. Im feeling stonger everyday. This weekend will be a challenge as my husband and I are going away for our 12 yr anniversary and we are staying at a B&B...gourmet breakfasts..the whole 9 yards. I plan on walking alot however as its a great town for that..and just really watching my portions. Im also going to pack a couple protein shakes and some fruit to bring w/ me...just so i stay on course. I do not intend to slip up anymore.

Food for today:
B: 1 banana, 1 bran muffin
lattee w/ skim milk

S: oatmeal pkg w/ blueberries, 1 slice of whole wh toast w/ 1 tbsp of PB

L: 6" subway sweet onion chic sandwich, 1/2 cup cottage cheese w/ 10 blue corn chips

I walked 40 min (2 miles) this morning, did 20 min on the weight/resistance machine at home, 100 crunches.

Ill be back on later to log the rest of my food..thanks again ladies!
 
Good plan :) wow your so on top of things! hope you have lots of fun this weekend, 12 yrs congrats thats a long time :) (who knows if ill make it that long w/ out ringing his neck lol jk ;) )
 
Believe me sweet pea..the garden and prepped and the shovel is ready.. he just better watch out! things would be so much easier if he just did it my way! :-D
 
Had 2 different afternoon snacks.. had 1 almond granola bar, 1.5 hrs later had a piece of cheese and a pear.
Dinner: 1.5 cups of whole wheat pasta w/ sauteed chic breast, carrots, broccoli, lots of veggies... in a wine/broth base...
1/4 c cottage cheese. 1 pkg of nabisco 100 cal cookies

96 oz of water...
Im wicked tired today..going to bed early..or right now...zzzzzz

Dinner was yummy.. I ended up having a sugar free jello pudding cup too in the evening..but felt like i needed a little comfort food.

Today so far is good..but no walk this morning..trying to get ready to go away... and have lots to do

B: 1 bowl of cheerios w/ skim milk
coffee w/ skim milk

S: protein shake and plum

not sure about the rest yet..gonna try to exercise today..but i have a floor to wash so that will be somethin :-D

L: 1 c brown rice, 1 avocado sliced, 1.5 oz chic, cukes, balsamic vinegar, 1/2 chopped apple. 1 100 cal snack cookies

so far ive started the "monthly" from hell..which will be great to take w/ me this weekend...bring on the midol! I have done some exercise..but not much, I washed my floor... which is huge... cleaned like a mad woman..then went outside and did 50 jumping jacks and 10 min of jump rope...

For dinner had about a cup and a half of shepards pie.. and an apple for dessert.

Im totally exhausted today.. looking forward to gettin out of dodge for the weekend and enjoying some me time.

Immmm baaackkk!
We had a great time..I wasnt perfect..but i wasnt all that bad either. We walked about 5 miles on Friday so that worked out well...it rained all day Saturday so that was a wash for exercise....
We ate out alot so I tried to do lots of veggies and low on the alcohol..I had 3 glasses of wine all weekend. I didnt do so well on my water intake..so ill be trying to flush this next day or so. We had a great time & it was nice to just be together and relax, and remember why we like each other and why we are married.
We had a couples massage yesterday which was incredible and my hubby had never had one and loved it..he is converted now boy!
I hope everyone had a great time this weekend...Happy mother's day to all!

12 yrs WOW Congrats to you and your Hubby. Its good to hear you had fun on your weekend getaway... (I need to plan one of those Baaaad ;) ) Keep up the good work :D

I didnt stop in to log my food yesterday...monday was my official mother's day and my hubby stayed home w/ the baby so my mom and i could go flower & garden shopping... I did ok w/ food..but did no exercise and i didnt today either..I am going for a long walk w/ the kids after school..and pushing the stroller will whip me back into the groove if nothing will!

Yesterdays food.
B: 2 biscottis, 1 pear

S: protein shake

L; rib eye steak w/ salad, mashed califlower & mushrooms.

D: beef n broccoli stir fry, 1 slice of cake... its soo goin in the trash today!

Today:

B: nutrigrain bar
coffee w/ skim milk


S: protein shake & a pear

not sure about the rest of the day..but its gonna be high fiber..all the steak i ate killed me yesterday...i had a bad belly ache and didnt go walking this morning..now i wish i did!
oh well.. its time to get back on track here!
 
looking good :) going for a walk w/ the kids is a great idea, we just finished going for one, its so nice out might as well take advantage of it.

They are good... a nice easy way of getting in a snack and not having to fuss over what to cut up or take w/ me..
It was sooo gorgeous here today..I just got in from gardening..I bought a bunch of perenials that I picked up monday and I just got them all in..and then i just hung out on my back deck listening to the peepers enjoying a cold beer...ahhh thats the life. my hubby and my 8 yr old are at their first karate class..

L: 2 oz chopped chic w/ a whole tomato, mixed salad w/ balsamic vinegar, 1/2 cup cottage cheese

S: granola bar

D: 2 chic apple sausages, corn, 1/2 cup risotto, strawberries & ff whip cream & 1/2 brownie
