Wow got your flowers in all ready, lol guess im behind on that but did do some weeding today. karate class for your h and son sounds nice,hes getting active now too, your hard work must be rubbing off on him.keep it up your doing super! :D
 
Todays food

B: 1/2 cup ff yogurt, 1 pear

S: peanut granola bar

L: turkey veggie wrap w/ bacon and lofat mayo
sugar free ice tea

S: 1/2 an apple

D: 2 small lean hamburgers w/ sesame coleslaw, handful of cherry tomatoes, steamed asparagus, mushrooms & yellow peppers. 1 tbsp ketchup

dessert will probably be fruit & yogurt

Trying to go low cal and lower than my rmr... according to what i read I wont lose at first but then I will drop...Im going to try to keep things around 1500 to 1800 the max. I picked up my fish caps..so im trying those also...and im going to try flax seed in my yogurt, cereal & smoothies

Im goin really high fiber...

96 oz water today

exercise: 30 min resistance machine, rowing etc, 10 min w/ new heavier weights...bought 8 pounders!
we're movin on up!
 
Hmmm flax seeds hadnt thought of those...let me know how they work out for you. 8lbs weights way to go girl!! very impressive :)
 
It was funny when I went to buy them at walmart..I go to pull out the rack of them and there was like 20 on the rack..I could hardly move the rack. I thought to myself...self, if you cant even get them out to buy them, maybe they are too heavy :-D
buutttt it turned out to be several on there..so then i didnt feel like quite a woosy

Food today

B: organic oatmeal w/ 1 tbsp flax seed, 1 bran muffin

S: 1/2 an apple, 1 hard boiled egg

L: large salad w/ ff italian dressing, 1 oz of chic, hard boiled egg, peanut granola bar

S: 1/2 bagel w/ ff cream cheese

D: chic & veggie quesidillas, w/ salsa & 1/2 avocado. 1 cookie

after dinner- 1 small yogurt

water 96 oz

exercise: 30 min walk -pushing stroller ? distance, 40 min of weights w/ some kick boxing, trampoline, abs & pushups
 
This day has been interesting..I really struggled to find something I wanted to do for exercise and ended up making my own "boot camp" type of work out... I had to do this w/ the baby sleeping in the house so w/ the monitor outside...I was able to really push myself w/out any pricey equip...cool!
Also, I called curves today and had them give me my measurements from Jan when I joined...and my mom came down & remeasured me... I have lost 12 inches off my body total w/ the most being on my waist and abs! I lost 6 inches on my abs and 4.5 on my waist! Its no wonder my pants are falling off of me! my wt has only changed 7 lbs since Jan..but so much more has changed. i am really encouraged & excited! I will keep track monthly on those now... since the scale doesnt seem to have too much to say.

Food so far
B: 1 hard boiled egg & 1/2 bagel

S: a bosc pear & a 4 oz yogurt

...very hungry & also had a granola bar 1 hr before breakfast

L: shrimp & veggie stir fry no rice, 1 slice of foccacia bread.

Did 45 min which consisted of 60 jumping jacks, kick boxing, jogging, walking, push ups...& running obstacles... then i gardened for 1/2 hr and built a rock wall around my garden out front. whew..it was great!

K! 12 inches thats amazing :D im so happy for you. pays to keep track of those inches sometimes they mean more than that darned scale. your own boot camp work out great idea, hope you had fun doing it.keep it up your doing awesome! :)
 
well..thats weird.the other day i posted a thread and its not here...weird...
Its rainy and yucky..probably will do a tape today or go for a hike in the rain maybe...so not a good hair day.

Looking in the penny saver for a deal on a recumbant bike is a good idea.local news papers and message boards at stores are other places you can check out(found some good deals that way ;) ) youve made so many great changes already im sure youll use it. hope you find one you like. i know it really helps when your doing exercise that you actually like(never thought id say that lol)your doing great by the way :)
 
Thanks L... I appreciate it. I am going to look around but I have found some new ones that are simple and the basic machine that are $200 or so..so i might just buy new if it comes down to it.

The rest of my food...
L : panini w/ smoked turkey provolone & roasted red peppers, 1/4 cup taboli

S: pear & 4 oz yogurt
peanut granola bar...hungry

D: not sure..have to take our oldest to tae kwon doe..and im not hungry yet...I think ill wait till we get home to eat.

also going for another walk tonight...not so hard of a walk but gonna be pushing a 30 lb stroller w/ a 20 lb kid...soo...that should make up for it ;-D
 
wow your food logs are so inspirational! it's absolutely healthy! and prolly still effective for weight loss. I'm going back to my own food diary now, embarrased and inspired :)
 
K how are the flax seeds and fish caps going? im thinking of adding the flax seeds to my diet(well if i can find some lol)and heck ya pushing a kid in a stroller will make up for it :)
 
Ohhh Amlika..thanks..im just someone who likes to cook and make up recipes...so thats why. i usually stay w/in 1800 cal or no more than 1500. thanks..
i only do the flax seeds in my yogurt..they are crunchy and act kinda like a granola or somethin..nutty tasting..Im doin ok w/ my fish oil caps...just tryin to remember them

B: 1 bran muffin coffee w/ skim milk

S: 2 hard boiled eggs & a handful of cherry tomatos

L: mixed salad w/ ff french, apples, 1/4 c cottage cheese, 1 4 oz V8, 1 4 oz yogurt.

S: 1/2 wheat bagel w/ 1 tbsp of PB

D: sauteed chic w/ carrots, asparagus, 1/2 cup risotto

Exercise: 2 hrs of tennis ...crunches & stretches after.

Did the tennis thing...I sooo suck at tennis...but i so refuse to give up. The people on our club are soo helpful and patient..I always feel bad they have to deal w/ such incompetence playing w/ me. I think im going to get a lesson w/ a pro next week..just to get some ideas. I am playing again sat morning...so hopefully w/ some practice ill improve quickly.
I did have a 4 oz yogurt and more water when i got home last nite...i was hungry and very thirsty.

Today...
up at 6am...walk 2 miles, 100 crunches, 8lb weights for upper body.

Food
B: lattee w/ skim milk, 1 pkg of oatmeal

S: 2 hard boiled eggs w/ cherry tomatoes

Yeah i always forget them too lol....hey glad you stuck with tennis, your new at it give your self some time and youll be playing tournaments ;) , i know that i would so suck at it, coordination not one of my better qualities when it comes to sports lol keep it up your doing great :)
 
well..its so funny they are like..well, when your at the net you hold the racket like this, and then when you see a ball at this angle you hold it like this..etc etc...im like ok and how am i suppossed to remember all this crap! yikes!
 
Rest of my food diary

L: foccacia bread w/ eggplant, roasted red peppers, spinach, feta, etc..lots of veggies..too much bread though..Ill be working out again tonight

S: cup of coffee...i guess i did have too much bread cuz im tired and feel lowgy...didnt eat anything either..woops

D: bisquick pie w/ ground turkey, summer squash, carrots, & peppers, 1 dash of parm cheese, 1 cup of shredded cabbage w/ sesame dressing on it.
1/2 a bosc pear.

2 FC, 1 multivitamin

96 oz of water

probably will have a snack around 8..but it will be a yogurt of somethin

more exercise...kickboxing, jumping jacks, jogging in place... 30 min total w/ more crunches
 
hey you remembered your fish caps good for you. its beautiful here today,hope it is where you are too. im taking advantage of it and going for a jog tonight,have a great day :)
 
Yes..totally beautiful today...practiced my tennis serve & swing for 45 min on my own..mostly off the back board... still got a decent sweat on. I will also be doing my resistance machine for 20 min tonight

Food today:
B: 2 pkgs oatmeal

S: 2 eggs

L: kinda had a snack instead of lunch...had a 4 oz yogurt & 1 peanut granola bar

S: turkey sub w/ all the veggies 1 slice of cheese, light mayo..didnt eat the bread.
another granola bar

D: 3 oz of steak, 3 bean salad, lite cole slaw, steamed broccoli,
dessert: 1/2 pear w/ some choc chips..about 20 choc chips

1 multi vit, 2 fish caps


later will have a 4oz yogurt before bed

also will do crunches today
