Starting Over

OMG! Fucking stunning! What a handsome couple you two are, and your hair looks gorgeous..did you style it yourself?? Wish we could see more of the dress...but the top half looks beautiful. Bella looks SO MUCH like Angeline in that pic. That is weird..

I see your H is back home now? Does that mean you're not coming to visit us in the City? You're still welcome in the Spring when it gets warmer. We will have a blast and the babies would be loving it considering they are the same age and look so similar .

Thanks Claud! The H didn't get any good pics of the bottom half but I think our friend did. She's still gotta email them to me. I did style my hair myself, I'm so picky that I prefer to do it. It was a bitch to straighten since it's so thick and halfway down my back now. Bah!

Bella and Angeline do resemble each other a whole lot, that IS weird. Sean is back home now and I prolly won't get the chance to visit until Spring, possibly Spring Break. We are going back to court for my SS so we will have to see. I was really looking forward to coming to see you this past Fall but things were just hectic with Sean gone. I can't wait for our girls to finally meet!

Thank you! What a hot couple the two of you make.

Bella is sooo cute!

Thanks BB!!! A year from now YOU will be the one posting the super cute baby pics!!

Glad you're going back to court regarding SS, I was wondering what happened but didn't want to bring it up since I realize how sore of a subject it is.

Its like 10 degrees here right now so Spring is a much better time to visit. No fun here in the winter!

Awwww... Amy, you look gorgeous and your family is adorable as ever. Just dropping in to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, darling. Miss you!

Thanks for the compliments and merry wishes everyone! Good to see Omega and MGB drop in for a bit!

Things have been crazy here this week, we all had a wonderful christmas. My SS is here until the 1st so I'll be in and out here on the forum, we have a busy week. Some new stuff has come up with the custody case so I'll fill you in later Claud.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Amy, feel free to give me a call if you need to. Do you still have my work number? That's where I tend to do all of my telephone calls hehe. I can imagine you're having a nice time with SS visiting over the holidays.

Hey there Busy Lady,

I hope everything is going well with the custody case. Just wanted to drop in to give you smootches for 2009. Heaven knows if I'll end up disappearing again. haha Nah... I'm trying to keep that as one of my resolutions: keeping in contact with my girls from WLF. Anyways, mami... have a wonderful weekend.

Wanted to wish you a Happy 2009 Amy. You look fabulous in the dress! I bet it is a relief to have hubby home. Ping me on Facebook sometime.

Happy New Year to you too!!

2009 is gonna be a good year, I can feel it.

Sooo, as I posted in Cita's diary, I pigged out over the holiday and gained a few pounds back. Bah! I just didn't want to even think about counting calories for some reason and I'm now paying for it. The scale is staying around 160-162 but I know some of this is definitely water weight. I drank about 90 ounces of water yesterday and only had to pee three times. I feel like I'm retaining pretty bad so I think the number on the scale will go down one the TOM is over. I think I only actually gained 2-3lbs, but we'll see what the scale says. I did however get in tons of exercise last week (9-11 hours!). We spent almost every day hiking and I wore my heart rate monitor to make sure I was pushing myself hard enough the whole time. We hiked to the top of Pinnacle Mountain and I raced my SS back down. It was a steep hike and it hurt. We spent another day hiking all over Petit Jean Mountain (6 hours) then another day at the Big Dam Bridge and hiking trails at Burns Park. And another day hiking around the mountain my parent's live on in Northern Arkansas.

I also got to teach my SS to shoot his first gun (youth size 22). I grew up on a farm way out in the country and grew up hunting. Just to clarify, we don't hunt for sport, we hunt to feed the family. I stopped hunting years ago but still love to shoot. I personally own 6 guns and one of my favorite past-times is to go shooting at the farm or shooting range. And since I'm a better shot than my husband and have been around guns much more, he let me do the honor of teaching my SS all about gun safety and how to shoot properly. He did really well, I was very proud of him.

This friday is my last day here at the firm so I've been super busy trying to tie up any loose ends before I leave. I am looking forward to this little break. I've been offered positions at multiple firms who have heard of my resignation, but I'm declining for now. I just became chairperson for a community fundraiser luncheon for the USGBC-AR so I will be busy for a few weeks with that. Once again, I am working with the Clinton Foundation on another charity. No BB, I am not crossing over. ;)

Regardless of my setback over the holiday and busy schedule, I am back on my eating and workout regimen with a vengeance. I was under 1400 calories on sunday and yesterday. I haven't been able to work out since there's been ice and freezing rain all week. Sean will be flying tonight so it looks like I will have to get my 4 hours of exercise in Wed-Sat for the challenge. I plan to get 5-6 but will have to see what the weather is like.

Hope you all are doing well!!!

Ciao!

WOW that's impressive and awesome! I have a HR monitor but have NEVER used it--got to get on that one!

NICE! I have two rifles, 4 shotguns, and 3 handguns myself :D I wasn't raised on them, inherited them from my dad, but I go shooting at the range every month or so :)

Good luck on your goals!

I LOVE my HR monitor. I have a Nike CX9 but I've used the Polar monitors as well and they are great. While hiking, if my HR dropped below 135 I'd start pushing harder. It felt great!!

Nice collection of firearms! I have 4 rifles, 1 shotgun, and 1 handgun. It's a great way to let off steam. Here's a pic of me out shooting with my dad last week. We we're having a competition of shooting acorns off the tree. I won. Lol!

Thanks! The only man that I have met that can out-shoot me is my middle brother Bill. He's pretty damn good.

Yeah, that's how my dad taught me to shoot. I started around the age of 8 with an actual rifle. He used to take me and my two brothers out to practice and made us take turns shooting the acorns out of the tree. He also like to take fishing bobbers and place then on fence posts for us to shoot. I jokingly call my dad "John Wayne" because of the way he raised us, REALLY old fashioned and with guns in our hands. LOL!

Nice! I love the accuracy of rifles :D I'm, uh, pretty shitty with a handgun :( I plan on getting better, though--I need to work on my trigger pull, in all honesty

Wow, a lot going on there Amy! Well at least your start weight will be high for the challenge. You will lose that weight quickly and then it will help us get points LOL. Sounds like you NEEDED to eat a lot with all that hiking. You are a great step mommy to SS, he's lucky to have you. Please give me your official start weight for the challenge. Can't wait for you to have more time online once you finish your job on Fri. We miss you. Luv, C
