Starting Over

Hey Drunky McDrunk,

you look damn smokin', girl!! :D I love that pic! Wanted to send congrats your way for losing 3 lbs already! YAH!!!!! haha Here's to more lbs before Christmas, ma ma. I hope you, Sean, and Baby Annabelle had a great Turkey Day, darling. :hug2:

-Sheryl

Thanks Ladies. Good to see you're back Sheryl!

Turkey Days was good. We went to my parents' for lunch and then came home for dinner with friends at our house. It was loud and busy at my folks'. I had to bribe the kids with $1 to make them sit still and be quieter. Ha! It worked. Dinner last night was so nice and peaceful. We had a great time visiting with our friends. Sean and I cooked and baked for 8 straight hours on Wednesday and it paid off. Dinner was delicious.

No shopping for us today. We're not fucking crazy! I am about to get dressed and head to the gym while Sean stays home with the baby. I plan to decorate for Christmas when I get back. Woot! This should be fun!

Glad you had a great T-day despite all the hard work involved. LOL@you bribing the kiddies to be decorous.:biggrinjester:

Have fun decorating--crank up that Christmas music...:santa::santa:

I am sooo damn tired today! 4 days off has me spoiled so now I can't seem to focus on anything here at work and I have a HUGE deadline for Thursday with the Canstruction event. Basically I am having to contact each team and school and make sure they get their entry forms in to me in time then I have to get some architects to volunteer to help each team design and build their structure for the competition. I am still trying to find a celebrity willing to come host the event. Not an easy task! There are multiple ones I have contacted but have received no response. Agghh!!! Just give me a yes or no already!

Anyways, I took a couple days off from the low calories for TG but am now back to 1500/day. I love my husband's sweet potato crunch and had to have some. My calories for TG were at about 2600. Friday I consumed 2100, Saturday 1600 and Sunday 2300. Not too high, just a lot higher than normal. I did manage to get a couple good workouts in over the weekend that burned 650 calories each time. I will be weighing in this Thursday night instead of Saturday since I will be Ohio seeing my stepson. The hotel has a fitness center but I never have time to get any exercise in when we go visit each month. 2 days is not enough with him each month so I like to spend the whole time doing family activities. We will be making homemade ornament this weekend and then will go drink hot chocolate and look at the christmas lights in Columbus. We do corny family stuff like this all the time. This weekend should be fun!

is when you have to go stand in the corner on the naughty mat for being a bad girl and think about all you've done wrong...

no wait that's usually me..

Go soak in a bubble bath with a glass of wine and think about all your good deeds.

Christmas "FAMILY STUFF" Not Corny in my book. I used to love making ornaments with my sons, now I'll be lucky to get them to put their ornaments on the tree. LOL LOL They usually leave that up to mom now, go figure, now that we have a ton to put up on the tree it takes me hours. LMAO!! I enjoy it, who am I kidding!

Your going to have so much fun visiting, hope the weather is real good for your time away. I ate like you did this week. Which is not real bad, but I only got in two days of exercise and to me that's bad!! LOL seems you did really good burning those calories.

I'm getting ready for a soon to be visit from Aunt Flo and I can sense it coming already, but no fear, I'm working out hard until she shows up and then I'll probably take a day off to relax. I have to stay on top of my game for our Challenge because people are now counting on me, and I don't want to let them down. I swear, I BETTER LOSE Something this week, and I have a feeling you will no doubt about it!!!

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!! I hope you get all your stuff done before you leave!
Kim

All of my favorite memories from being a kid are the "corny" moments. I want my children to have tons of corny memories of Sean and I. Plus I love the homemade ornaments.

I think we'll have a loss this week. Aunt Flo came to visit last week the morning after my weigh-in monday night so I think I will see progress this week. I had to have been a little bloated when I weighed. I am shooting for 2lbs this week. Is there a New Year's challenge that I could join?

Being a "bad girl" is a good thing in my house. :newangel:

I do have a new bottle of "Menage a Trois" (amazing red wine) at the house. Mmmm, sounds like a plan. Great idea Mal!

WOW Your thinking of doing a New Years Challenge?? Watch in the Challenge section and I'm sure any week now, some one will post one for us. I have no doubt you would bust butt in a challenge and probably win too, because your doing so damn good!! If I see one listed I'll let you know.:bigear: or if I hear of one, I'll advise

I love the name of your bottle of red. :D

It's too bad you and your hubby only get to see your stepson 2days per month. I heard you say you were looking to get custody of him. How's that coming along?

Corny family holiday moments are the best! For 2 days a month, they're more important than the gym. So don't feel guilty at all. ;)

As long as the Christmas Challenge continues to do smoothly, I'm up for doing a New Year's Challenge, and I would love you to sign up. It'll start on either Dec. 29th or Jan 5th. Sign ups will start probably a week before. I'll keep you posted. :)

Hope your day at work improved. :)

We are still in the process of trying to find a decent lawyer in Ohio. It's hard to do from 800 miles away. We get him fro part of the summer and fro christmas this year also but it's not enough. His mother ignores him. All she cares about is the $850/month child support we pay. He spends all his time in his room reading books and watching tv. It's sad really especially when Sean and I are the type of parent that are incredibly involved with our children.

I am definitely up for a New Year's challenge. Let me know when it starts!

I budgeted an extra 160 calories for a Starbucks light caramel machiatto this afternoon to pick me up a little so I should have a little boost of energy to get me through the evening at the gym and at home. I'm feeling pretty good right now!

That's really sad about Sean's son. How old is he (around 8?) and what is his view on living with you instead? Does he know about this and what would he say to a judge on the subject? That does start to have some bearing, more and more the older the child gets.

He would choose us but his mother keeps telling him horror stories of what would happen if he came to live with us (all lies of course) and then cries to make him feel guilty. This is pathetic to do to a young child. But I believe in Karma and she will get what she deserves.

That is really sad about your stepson's "mother." I hope that you and Sean are able to get custody of him. At least he lucked out in the stepmom dept if not in the biological mom dept. :)
