leg resting is good - they appreciate it when you do that![]()
I'm not a fan of chiropractors but if you can find a good one (good luck with that..I hope so! My legs are very sore right now and I have done something to my hip. I am finding it hard to sit in my office chair comfortably. I have to sit with my foot up under me just to make it stop hurting. I think it's out od place. Any cure for that?
Due to sliding and whatnot while playing softball, my right hip would get all facked up. My physical therapist showed me a trick that has worked for me til this day... lie on your side (non hurting hip, hurting hip above) on the edge of your bed, raise your left up towards your upper body. (legs forming a right angle "__l") Slowly lower the raised leg so that it's parallel to the floor... you might feel a little pull in your hip... repeat slowly... All I do know that it works for me, so hopefully it will do the same for you.![]()

Yeah, I'm with you on adopting the next one! I love my sweet baby and it was so worth it, but it SUCKED being prego. I hated every moment to be honest. Is that mean to say about the baby? And men always seem to be asking when I'm having the next one, the boy..yeah right!
How're things going with the weight?
Like you said to me in my diary, take it easy on yourself! Be careful of that hip and hope it feels better soon.

Yes, and I'm sure you felt totally 100% comfortable telling The Bobs how the bosses do not listen to employee ideas. Yeah, and here comes the pink slip. Oh, but it was supposed to be confidential! Do The Bobs have a temporary cubicle or office that can be toilet papered?
So glad your hip popped back into place (OUCH!). Hope the thryoid test comes back OK and the WL keeps up. Sometimes you miss a week and then you lose the following week. Hopefully that'll be the case for you Amy!
He gave me the nicest compliment. He said "Damn Girl, you are one tough cookie. You run up that hill 3 or 4 times a day and that hill's a real bitch. Good job!" Talk about putting extra energy into my legs. I ended up jogging 1 mile more than I had planned last night because of that one compliment. And it was 94 degress out!
Also, I'd like to thank both you and Blancita for scaring the shit out of me when it comes time to have a baby. Hmmm... maybe I'll just pull a Bradgelina and adopt a Chinese baby. haha!!! Talk about a dream come true. No more deployments to Iraq for us. No more worrying if he's gonna get shot down or not. No more worrying if he'll get to see our daughter grow up. I am so happy and relieved.![]()
More good news. My husband is a C130j pilot in the USAF and he has been debating whether or not to get out. He loves flying and gets so much fulfillment out of making a difference with his job. He spent 10 months of every year from 2001-2005 in Iraq and Afghanistan. He took troops in and out, dropped supplies and brought the wounded and dead back to their families. This part has scarred him for life and plagued him with many nightmares but he wouldn't change a thing. Somebody has to to do the unpleasant and dirty work and my H is always first to volunteer. I am very proud of him. Anyways, he doesn't want to go to the airlines because it isn't "fulfilling". He has been given the opportunity to fly for the U.S. Coastguard. The rank, pay and benefits will all be the same and we will be living in Elizabeth City, NC. It's abeautiful small town on the beach. We are both so excited about this. He will still get to fly, help people and the benefits will stay the same. Talk about a dream come true. No more deployments to Iraq for us. No more worrying if he's gonna get shot down or not. No more worrying if he'll get to see our daughter grow up. I am so happy and relieved.![]()
