I agree about the black team kicking ass! I've already got in 3hrs of exercise this week, and plan on getting max exercise and bonus pts. Add that to hopefully 5lb loss, and that's 57pts! Hopefully I can do it! :hurray:
 
Hey A, so glad you found a lawyer who thinks you'll win custody. Sounds like it needs to happen sooner rather than later with this latest bit. Ask the lawyer for approximate dates of when she expects certain things to happen (like file whatever motion or draft whatever papers to get things started), then you can call and follow up on that date and make sure things have gotten started. The squeaky wheel gets the oil or whatever, but its true, I always turn to the work of the client who's up my ass about when they'll have whatever document soooo....

Finding a good lawyer is so important. I've never had to rely on one myself, but I've seen what a difference it made for my sister.

I had an awesome workout last night. I jogged a mile on the upstairs track for a warmup then did some interval training for another 1.5 mile. I would jog for about 1/4 lap then sprint two laps as hard as I could go. I then got a full body weight training session in then hit the ArcTrainer for another 25 minutes. I burned 700 calories so I was definitely happy.

I only ended up getting in 1178 calories because I just wasn't hungry yesterday. I was gonna have a yogurt last night before bed but completely forgot. I HOPE the scale is good to me this week. I never know what to expect, especially after this past year. I'm sure you can definitely relate since you had the same problem after having kids.

Great day! I mean shiat, if I wasn't hungry I sure wouldn't feel badly about it if I came in nice n' low, as long as you dont make a habit of it and I dont think you do. In fact, I'd be psyched to come in that low once or twice a week! I wish..

Yeah, I don't make it a habit. I am pretty comfortable around 1500-1700 calories a day but yesterday may help speed up the loss a bit. I hope.

I did feel thinner this morning and my slacks are feeling looser in the legs. I hope I'm not imagining this!
 
Your not imaging it, your body is reshaping again, yea!!! I'm right there with you on the excercise like a crazy person and only lose a pound a month. LOL LOL Oh such is life I guess. All I know is, if I'm working out 4 days a week as hard as I can, and I'm eating good, even if I don't lose weight, I KNOW I'm doing my body better than I would sitting in front of the boob tube for 3 hours. Plus, I do notice I sleep better at nights, or at least I'm able to physically shut down earlier than when I don't work out. Plus, my cardio is ten times better than ever, before I could barely run around the track twice without having a breathing attack, now I can go around it almost a mile and still able to breath. LOL However, if I go to far my lungs feel like they are going to fall out. LOL LOL I don't know how you do 1 mile without stopping, I get bad coughing spells if I go that long. YOU ARE THE MACHINE, not me! I can only bust butt on the machines, like the elliptical, arc trainer or bike, YOUR THE TRACK STAR. :sifone:

You really busted some ass at the gym last night!! I'm impressed. LIke my twin, I'm no runner either. My H runs 3 miles in 30 min. Oh to be able to do that! I'd be happy to run a half mile without stopping...lmao!

You're also doing really well with the food. :party:

I have lost sooooo many inches this past year with very little weight loss so I know I am getting my body back in shape. It's funny looking in the mirror, I see my rock hard thighs and muscular arms and shoulders, and they are the same "shape" they were before getting pregnant, just bigger because of the body fat. Getting rid of the fat is the most challenging thing I have ever done!

As for being a "track star", only one word - HAH!! I was not a runner in highschool. I was on the track and field team but only for my strength. I threw discus, shot put and was a pole vaulter, not a runner. I remember one time in 10th grade my coach had nobody to run the 200 meter sprint so he threw me on the line. I was racing against 9 other 6ft black girls who were rockstar athletes. When the gun went off they blew past me and crossed the finish line when I was only halfway there. As I was rounding the corner a guy in the stand screamed "Damn baby you slow!" I was so embarrassed. After high school I promised that I would work my ass off to become a runner just so I could have some closure on such a horrible memory. I can run distance but will NEVER be fast, ever. But thanks though!!

Thanks BB. I am really trying to force some of this weight off before I go to Savannah in April. It would be great to wear a cute sundress at the wedding and to the beach.
