hi tammy nice to have you stop by - thankyou it went quite well except i had a lot of schoolwork.. and no loss this week either.

i also think it might be muscle or water weight. i'm so proud of you and your working out routine. you're mom joined you for run? that's great.

haha yeah she did :) although it was more of a jog/walk but i think she enjoyed herself.
has anyone just read the awesome article posted by tony mckellan n the harsh truth section . . . . i think its called top 5 ways to gain body fat. its really shocking actually!
so tonight i am doing intervals.. i am excited..i really enjoy the feeling i get after i have finished lol
calorie aim today is 1704 maximum
although i hopefully wont go up that high :)

Thanks for posting on my diary.
I had physical therapy after back surgery, and they had me bounce lightly on a ball. How would I find out exercises that are appropriate for me using the ball?
Great suggestion! I want to follow through on it.

right .. its great you liked my suggestion .. but im no expert on the exercises you should do if you ahave a bad back. you can try this website for general exercises and see which ones you feel comfortable doing...:
Total Body Strength & Stretch on the FitBALL or Foam Roller - Challenge Your Balance, Core Strength and Stability
you might want to go and see your physio to askfor advice about which ones you should do? my dad had surgery and he used it for his rehabilitation ... now he runs cross country everyweek :D
 
Hi there Sophie! How are you doing?
Today a friend of mine came to visit and he brought some muffins along...they had such a good smell...I was really tempted but then I thought about your muffin anecdote and they suddendly looked not that good... :D thank you!
 
hahaa i so regret not taking a photo!!!
just everytime you see a muffin make sure you think of a giant green slime jelly puss ball in the middle. that smells disgusting. and will pop. and inside is all slime and goo and snot :)

hi britta! nice to see you here :) oh yes..i shall never eat another muffin again
it has done wonders for me actually..my breakfasts have become so much more healthier now the muffin option is out of the window.
so tonight training has begun again:
i did short interval training
3x(4x110metres) sprint. each sprint had a 100m recovery between itself and the next one.
tomorrow i am being made to go out with my friends .. i dont rlly want to go but it is her birthday so i feel i have to. although i will probably be forced to eat loads of rubbish at a retaurant ("you dont need to lsoe weight, youre so skinny already blahblahblah") and then i am going to resist all alcopops because they are so high calorie. i really hope that i will get id'd and then i wont be able to get in :) i think i am the only 16 year old in britain who thinks like that haha

Hi Sophie. You have been so sweet to visit my diary and comment I just thought I would stop in and say hey. I am still getting my bearings and working my way through the forum it is hard to keep up with everything that is going on. I appreciate your kind words.
 
dont worry hun - it is a two way thing here so dont feel like its just me - you have offered your support by stoping by in here too. and i felt the same way when i first joined too ... but then i just muscled right in haha
you will be the same soon :D
 
and just to have a bit of a boast..
i displayed superb will power skills today and i deserve to give myself a pat on the back
my mum said"sophie we are having suasages tonight" and i said sorry mother dearest but i cant as that is too many calories for my schedule and you told me we were having mashed potato and sweetcorn therefore i planned my calories around that. and so she said hurumph and gave me mashed potato and carrots and i had to have gravy to keep her happy but hey never mind :)
and then because i knew i had reached my calorie limit for today i passed on the massive bowl of pineapple for pudding and put it in the fridge. i shall have it for breakfast with some natural yoghurt. i am lookin forward to it already umummm
and it is negative calories :D
mal told me that. thankyou mal.
 
Good for you Sophie! I just walked past the cakes and donuts in the cafeteria while I was getting my coffee... they looked good but I knew as soon as I ate one I would feel terrible with myself! I can save treats for when I reach my goals! Mmm pineapple - I must see if I can get some pineapple at the shops tonight :)
 
yes .. and with frozen natural yoghurt and a drizzling of honey it tastes an absolute dream :p and so few calories or fat.
so yesterday was quite a high calorie day for me due to cycling which i felt a little uncomfortable with but it was okay. i had 1875 calories and todays worth should be 1533.
 
so

i have had anough of calorie counting. i get the feeling that i am actually eating more than i did befoe i satrted counting. so from now on i am just going to eat sensibly, healthily and keep my portion sizes in control. eat when im physically hungry!
and i am going to make sure i am doing plenty of exercise. i reckon i can lose the weight this way. i think i am getting a bit too obsessed about calories and i really dont want to...
