Sophies diary

thanks guys! so yday worked out okay afterall - instead of going out for a meal my friend had decided that it was such a nice day and we would eat out in the park. i had a wholemela turkey sandwich .. okay so i had half a chocolate cookie aswell (a large one) but i stopped at half!!
and in the eveing i had a salad bowl followed by a smoothie. so my calroie total was

OUT:2399
and today was alright but my friend made me soo much and i was absolutely stuffed. for breakfast i had two shredded wheats and then 3 pancakes. and then we had chicken salad rolls and crisps (only 145 cals so okay-ish) and then a banana. and then she took me to a coffee shop[ and bought me a blueberry muffin and something we have in england called a slush puppie - lolz
anyway this muffin has put me off muffins for life...i eat with my fingers tearing things aprt usually and i was about half way thru it and then i looked in side and there was a white ball. and i picked it out and it was like white-ish green ish jelly. and i smelt it to see if it was sugar or something and it smelt absolutely rank.i was like OHMYGODDDD
haha so i guess that helped me in two ways- 1. i only ate half that muffin and 2. i probably wont want a muffin for a very long time
then for tea i had prawn stirfry(mmmmm) and an apple and some dried cranberries.

erghhhhh I think you just put me off muffins too!!! Seriously though that's a good thing cause I can demolish one of those suckers in about 2 seconds.
How are you finding the calorie cycling thing? I am going to look into it more at the weekend, I have the site you gave me but wondered whether you like it or not? Cheers hon!
 
Omg, didn't you complain with the coffe shop owner? Ew, I can't even think about it...I'm kind of maniac for cleanliness and such things so I think I would have thrown the muffin away screaming.

haha - i didnt eat that much yesterday after the muffin so i think maybe i should have one of those everyday...
although thinking about it makes me feel dreadful

oh and rachie - in response to the calorie cycling .. ive kind of had a maintenace week this week (quite high cal) due to it being half term and boredom being rife + friends over + meals etc etc. so i am going to give the cycling thing a go from sunday and i will let you know how i get on! x
 
hey sophie...just read about the muffin incident. i would have thrown it screaming like venice gril. i really get grossed out with such things. maybe you should send me one lol so i'll get over the sweet stuff i've been craving this week.

haha i should have taken a picture :) that would have grossed all of you out totally.. but then you werent the ones who had already eatn half of it!
breakfast was bad today :( i had like 800 cals just for brekkie so had special k for dinner which was like 200 cals so now ive got 600 left for tea. mums doing a healthy tea :D:D shes finally got the message. and i heard her telling my nanny that she wanted to have tea ready for 6 everynight now cos of it slowing the metabolism if its after 8! woopwoop

except apart from just now we had a deja vu.. "do you want parsely sauce sophie?" (390 calories per cup) and i say "no thanks" and she says FINE i will just make myself some then all huffily and slams things about.
but hey shes coming round to the idea
 
well just look how she was one month ago lol...this is huge progress :) well you can have that sauce but 1 tbspoon...it shouldn't be that high hehe

Is there a lower cal way to make it? Can you substitute good things for some of the bad?
 
i know lena - im glad shes come to terms with idea. im not sure if there is a diff way to make it .. the main ingredient is butter so i guess that is whee the cals come from.also my mum doesnt do things by halves.. you either have none or a plateful :S

it is my favourite meal of the day
it is the reason i get up in the morning :D
 
Hi Sophie! Glad your mum has become more understanding about your efforts :) Good luck with the calorie cycling! I am trying it - I figured I might as well because I had low cals yesterday anyway so that was my extreme weight loss day! Hopefully anyway!!! haha! We'll have to compare notes on the cycling. Have a great weekend if I don't speak to you and enjoy your brekkie tomorrow!
 
blimey Sophie - I just noticed you have 528 posts now! Good for you! It's obviously helping cause I know you've been working hard and losing weight!
