Hi sophie!! :) I love how you use honey on things. I tried your pineapple and honey idea, and it was really yummy! lol Keep up the good work! Oh, and I wanted to mention, I hope you dont mind if I give you a little tip, but my trainer was telling me to incorporate more veggies into my meals. She was saying that veggies are really important to losing weight and toning up. Anyways, have a good one, and thanks for all of your motivation on my diary, it really helps :)

happy almost friday to you too mal - and i brag everyday int his journal i guess :D hehe
glad you liked the pineapple and honey britta - i think its a really effective sweetener that is so good for us! and i know what you mean about me and veggies...i think it will be a good step for me to take to incorporate lots more veggies and salad stuf finto my diet. just when im on the run from school and work and college it is so hard. i do eat a lot of fruit though .. just my last two days havent really refelected it as ive been so busy. so my next challenge. i am going to eat salad for dinner everyday but try something new with the salad each time - see if that works!
thanks for stopping by be gone soon - hope your weight loss is going good!

Mmmm... salads. One of the things you should try with your salad experimentation is to look for a blend of seasonings you like on top, as something to sprinkle over the salad.
I love Celery salt and Dill, for example. Paprika, too. Garlic and onion powder also can really make a salad taste a lot less like a salad, and more like "real food". When it comes to foods that we have a hard time forcing ourselves to eat, it can be really helpful to add things we DO like to our food.

For example, consider some fruit juice, or (dare I say it) a honey-flavored salad dressing. A lot of salad dressings have sugar in them, so consider making your own (it's fun, easy, and cheap) with honey or fruit juice instead of sugar.
One of the ones I really like is basically making Italian with some ginger and sugar (or honey!) replacing part of the oil. Make sure any dry herbs like rosemary, dill, oregano, basil, etc, have a chance to soak in the liquid for a few minutes; you don't want them to be dry and papery on the salad or in your mouth.

Just try to have fun with whatever you make, and if you ever cook steaks, it makes a GREAT marinade or sauce for cooking.

thanks guys :) im reeeally looking forward to trying out all these new things now. im very excited about tomorrow haha .. i am going to get busy creating. and mum has done so well at the supermarket today - i didnt even go with her and she hasnt bought any junk food at all - apart from one packet of cookies - they are wheat free dairy free and low fat :)
well done muum!!
tonights exercise :
8x200m sprints each one with 100m walk in between.
then i did a medium/hard pace 800m
then i jogged home
i am going away with my running club tomorrow night for the whole weekend so im very excited. i will be doing loads of exercise, relaxing with people i get on with well, getting lots of fresh air in a beautiful part of the uk. i cant wait

exercise makes me feel so good, at peace, relaxed, it makes all my worries fade just a little bit. i need to do more of it. My favorite is walking/running. I am not good at running, but i know when i go on walks/jogs, i feel relaxed afterward. have fun this weekend.
