Just dropping in to see how you are doing and by the looks of things, I'd say you had a lot of fun on the weekend hehe.

You and Jodie are exellent buddies for eachother. You will make it through this plateau, just keep up the great work.:D
 
NTL : Don't worry, Jodee, I actually drink very rarely, as I have desire for it very rarely, so there's definitely no peer pressure there, Lol!

there you go making me look like the trouble maker again! :p

okay, today was fine. hectic at work. geesh. finding it hard to get in 1500 calories throughout the day but i think i am getting better at it. came in at 1500 today, w/ my vitamins, drank 65 oz (so far) of water, weight lifted for 30 minutes this evening ;). off to walk the dogs....

hope everyone had a good day.

so far so good today. i have pilates tonight so that is helpful (dont need to motivate, just go!). been lagging on the water but making up for it as the day progresses.

if i planned out the meals according to what i THINK i have at home to eat then i am set with eating 1500 calories today including dinner. that would be good.

otherwise, just trying to stay consistent, keep to a plan and hope to break through my current plateau.

i am sticking to the nutrition & fitness plan that i got from a trainer for at least a month and then we'll see what happens from there...

frustrated, yes. giving up...no!
 
Good for you Skyler. Lots of water and exercise. You are doing awesome. Are you doing Friday Scale Day? Or do you just weigh yourself every couple of weeks or so? Have a great day and sorry I haven't been on the last day or so, my husband and I went to a parade and then to a rodeo this afternoon. It was great. :D
 
i weigh in once a week..usually thursdays but i did today as i am going to try and do the current challenge to try and break this stinkin plateau. stuck at 143. somethings gotta give!

off to maine this weekend so i'll have no computer access until tuesday...but, everyone keep up the good work, and I AM GOING TO TRY AND LIMITED THE WATER RETAINING GARBAGE!! LOL.

it shall be interesting actually b/c we are camping so food choices will be at a minimum (even though i am bring a cooler of fruit and healthy snacks) and execise will have to be swimming.

lets hope it goes well....TOM is approaching. yeah. :(

Have an awesome time in Maine. Stay away from the salt and sodium. Drink lots of water. DON'T FORGET. :p Take care of yourself. ;)
 
I probably missed you before you leave on your trip, but just wanted to pipe in with I think you're doing a great job getting that 1500 calories in. Your plateau will be busted soon I just know it.

Hope you have a fun trip and speak with you when you return.
 
hey skyler I'm sorry I didn't manage to say this before you left but I hope you have a good holiday! Keep drinking lots of water though, it's easy to forget that when your mid is occupied!;)

Hello!! I am back :). Thanks first of all Scarlett, Crunchie and Jodee for checking up on me!! This weekend was great. I did enjoy some wine with my Aunt on Saturday night but it wasnt overboard and I kept it as part of my 1500 calories. We swam a lot, jet skiied, tube rode (boy was i sore from that one!!) and camped. It was great. Got back last night and had my pilates class which felt awesome.

This morning I actually woke up to my alarm (i am terrible at that) at FIVE AM!! and went for a 4 mile run. Feels great. I'm trying to "change up" the routine I have going on as I need to break this plateau so figured trying to get some am exercise vs. pm may help shake things up a bit! Hopefully!!

Oh, yeah, I also drank TONS of water....kept going to into buy those giant jugs at the gas station ;). Thanks for the reminders!!
 
Welcome back Sky. Awesome job for running 4 miles. I have a problem with running. I hate doing it. ;) Anyways, it is great having you back. Have a good day. :D

i WISH this was possible for me ( i was reading the 2 lbs/week loss thread and figured i'd see what mine would be......more realistically is a HOPEFUL 1 lb/week loss..meaning 15 weeks after i break the plateau to get to where i want to be....

sayyyyyyyyyyyy, i break it this week or next - mid august ...........at 1 lb/week, i'll be at my goal by Dec.1st :D.

I am shooting for new years at this point !! :)
 
Okay so yesterday was good. Got in my run in the morning. Ate about 1400 calories (a little low but i wasnt hungry anymore!). I had my class at night, drank plenty of water and went to bed...

Today - so far so good - i got up at 5.15am again (WOW!! :D ) but it was almost 90 degrees already and I figured my dogs would kill me so I am house sitting and they have a treadmill that I banged out 30 minutes of HIIT this morning. I am hoping that adding some exercise in the morning will help break this plateau. I also have some errands to run this evening but it is weights day so I'll get some more workout in later....so, feeling good about that part. I havent stepped on the scale as it has only been 2 days of hte new program (for now) and it is TOM which is frightening when I am on the scale!! Plan to eat 1500 calories today and drink TONS of water. Hopefully work will go by fast!!
 
Your exercise and water drinking looks great skyler but cripes 5.30am! That's still the middle of the night is it not?:D Think I got out my bed at 8.50am today and it's my day off (any time before 10am is early).
 
thanks crunchie, but if my ticker looked like yours, i may have a different attitude about sleep! :)

today was good. 1600 calories. TONS of water. ran hiit the treadmill in the am. did circuit weights for thirty minutes in the pm. had a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax ;) and am hoping to goodness that i break this frickin plateau this week. if it means getting up at 5.30am YUCK!

no really what is interesting is that it is my TOM and usually i gain weight and then it isn't "real weight" during this time....i havent lost but i havent gained...so maybe when TOM goes away, i really will have lost? crazy logic i know. but i need something to keep me going. if its TOM, i'll take that too. tomorrow is another day. whoo. this stuff is exhausting.
 
Hey Skyler. Hope all is going well with you. Yah I know that TOM can wreck havoc on some women's weight loss goals. In a week things will be back to normal. You will break your plateau. Good for you for getting some "you"time. That may keep your mind off of dieting for a little bit so that you can get over the plateau part. Have a great day. I am starting holidays next week but I will try to keep up posting in your diary. But they don't start until Wednesday morning. :D
 
thanks Jodee. Yes, i'll break the plateau. just when???!?!!!!! any body have that crystal ball for me?? ;)

well, i didnt get up this morning. i just couldnt. knowing i have pilates tonight, i was trying to have a third day of double workouts (morning and evening) but looks like i'm all evening tonight. thats okay though as i was exhausted and my muscles sure feel the strength training from yesterday.

again, working to get in 1500 calories today. I think i am getting the swing of it.

so glad it is thursday....love 'em for some crazy reason!
