Hi everybody! Some of you saw some terrifc drops this first weel and a couple of you had frustrating numbers. I'm somwhere in the midle with a modest drop.

SW 329.8 CW 327.6 0.7% lost total

Quick reminders/clarifications

Posting your % lost helps me out and there is a link to a % calculator just above the table in the first post.

% will be rounded to the tenth place e.g. 1.378% is 1.4% and 1.349% is 1.3%

A negative percent means a gain.


Those of you with good lossses this week congratulations. Don't let up as the leads can change quickly this early on. That's also why you should not feel frustrated if you gained or didn't lose what you wanted. Two measurements doesn't make a pattern and if you keep trying the scale will reward you in time.

Thanks everybody for participating! I'll update as numbers come in and assign ranks once we have everyone or on Sunday if we are still missing anyone.
 
My weight has been fluctuating all week... I started a new regime 2 days ago, and hopefully, I'll be seeing more "positive" numbers.

Weight of Saturday, September 28: 97.9 Kg / 215.8 lbs.
Weight of Saturday, October 5: 96.8 Kg / 213.4 lbs.
Weekly Change: 1.11% lost.

219 this morning. That's 3 pounds down from 222 on the 28th.

1.4% loss.

Guideon takes first place for week one with BelindR ranked second, and icychic in 3rd.

We haven't heard from LJ or Kal-el. I'll send them both reminder PMs. We have a good shot at taking Guideon as he won't be weighing for a couple weeks while eating vacation food. :reddevil:

This week is the week that I reclaim daily exercise. I'm coming for all of you!
 
Kal-El, don't be scared of not losing weight. If you're making an honest effort to diet and exercise, you ARE taking steps in the right direction. Even if the scale doesn't reflect it you most definitely will be doing your body some good. I know at times it can be discouraging, but just stick with it, you'll be fine!

It is discouraging at times, to tire all week and then find the scale to be just exactly there where it was last week. I am just gonna count more days/weeks/months on the journal this time. Will wait :(.

& look out for me too. 3 days of no starchy carbs went like this -.5kg, -.5kg, -1 whole kg!! YAY. Mind you the 1st kg lost, was the one I gained 1st week of the contest :( but overall I'm very happy with another 1kg loss. Plus I'm feeling much more energetic! Cheers, xo Cate
 
Nice work Cate! You've beat my loss for all of last week in 3 days. Glad to hear you are feeling energetic too. I'm feeling pretty spry myself today. Lets all have a great day!
 
Wow! You guys are having a great second week! And here I weighed in at 142.5 :( But I did eat dinner late last night so that I'm sure did not help. I feel not too energetic but won't be working out today anyways as I have made plans with some friends for a wedding planning night :) 2 of us are getting married, 4 of us will be there tonight. Need a quick dinner tonight, not sure what it will be yet but perhaps a salad. And there may be munchies which I don't think I will be able to pass up, but plan to work hard the rest of the week!
 
Sorry, forgot to check in Q, busy boy. I was not podium-worthy this week, anyway, I weighed in at 324.8, just like last week. Lamentations are here, if you're interested.
 
Official weigh-in- 85kg :( (187.4lbs)
I Didn't lose any more during the week & am going away tomorrow for 2 weeks.
I just realised I won't be able to weigh in until I get back on Sat the 26th. You can scrap me from the chart if you like Q. I'm going to do the best I can, cheers, xo Cate
 
Good morning all! :)

Checking in with this morning's weight. I weighed in at 200.2lb which is down exactly 2lb from last week, .99% since last week and 2.15% since the challenge began! :)
 
Starting weight (9/28): 167.7
Previous week's weight (10/5): 163.5
Current weight (10/12): 162.3
Difference from previous week: -1.2 lbs
% Change this week: 0.7% loss (0.73%)

Total weight loss: -5.4 lbs
Total % change: 3.2% loss (3.22%)
 
Exactly 1 lbs down. Since I couldn't exercise, thanks to the gaping pothole in the Tesco's car park ( I stepped into it, twisted my ankle and bruised my knee), I guess 1 lbs down is better than a kick where it hurts.
That puts me at 0.35% change from last week, and 0.48 % change from the beginning.

Hopefully I'll pick up a little in the following weeks. Gotta be more careful around potholes!
