Interesting experiences these last two weeks on the diet. Last week, I was having some issues staying hydrated, which i think was the reason for the low numbers. This past weekend I truly ate horribly to see what would happen, or maybe just because I was due for a fold... who knows.

So I got some screwy data that I'm not sure what to make of. I have 2 weeks off of work coming up next week, so I'm not gonna really get to see another week of data after this, because When I go camping, I'm gonna eat freely :)

I'm not too concerned about the BEI numbers at this time because my hydration issues, and Ive been hitting my protein targets daily.

refeed coming up, I'm flirting with the idea of going with a smaller RFL refeed, and jumping right back into Keto. So I might refeed fri morning, power workout sat morning, eat pizza at my cousins birthday and then back to keto right away.

Well.. for the quick trip, nogales is a party spot, frequented when i was much younger. Beach Wise, rocky point is like 4 hours away. HUGE spring break party spot. And I dunno... just never had the itch to go to havasu.

Decided to stay low cal/ low carb for another day, so i didnt refeed last night. Gonna cheat meal tonight, going to the movies with Leslie. RED MUTHA F'IN VINES!!!

and i couldnt decide between reeses whoppers or red vines, so i ate a box of both

calories for the day 4057
probably about a 500 cal surplus.

not too shabby i dont think :)

time to get my fat ass to the gym, and get rid of these stored carbs :)

...You know, it just made me wonder,...when you say my "fat ass" to the gym...do you REALLY believe that some days as well....? or are you joking and don't have those anymore?

..i mean .."fat days"?:bigear: I guess I'm just curious if even when a person's body fat gets so low, they can still continue getting those "fat day" yucky feelings, or if those disappear after a while...and GOOD TIMES from there :biggrinjester:?
 
Hey RJAZ! Just had a little question about experiencing soreness from workouts. I noticed you said that a week or two ago (I think?) your glutes started complaining from your squats, so you used some ibuprofen to help hold you over.

I just had a similar problem a couple days ago...got a mildly sore lower back from doing some ab workouts, and I've never had this happen to me before. I was considering pain-killers, but I haven't used any yet. The soreness is a lot less than before, but I think it's still there.

I was wondering if you still kept doing your normal strength-training routine despite the pain you had. I never miss an ab workout on Saturdays so I still went ahead and did it...a little uncomfortable in the lower-back but not extremely painful at all...I didn't make things worse did I?

And how long was it until your soreness went away?

VERY inspirational diary here btw...keep up your amazing work! :)

Hey thanks for stoppin in! The first day sucked mobiltity was limited I actually thought it was my back. I took a whole bunch of ibuprofen and massaged it even though it hurt like a mofo. I couldn't figure out how to stretch it otherwise I woulda done that. It was tender othe touch for maybe 2 or 3 days.

ya know how people get that those trouble spots that are the last to come off? Well I literally got like 10 pounds in those areas and lean everywhere else. But it's running out of pawns! I'm working away at the key pieces now! It's kinda exciting FINALLY after what 3 years?

So I'm still a fat ass until Im done :). Gotta keep pushin myself :)

had a fun filled day at the park for my little cousins birthday party. ate like a pig, and drank like a fish! Happy that my peak didnt go over 170 again. i think im safely below that number... although i leave on wed for camping, so we'll see where im at when i return :) but until then, low calorie/low carb.

Did a depletion work out this morning, followed with some incline treadmill. spent a lot of time at the gym in order to make up for the lack of activity from not being at work today. mission accomplished!

Heres my graph for june... UD2 for most of it, then I got a little carried away the weekend of the 22nd. im gonna try it again after vacation.

Crazy....3 years huh!?!!....I guess I shouldn't beat myself up for not being at my goal yet ....good things take time! I think I've been at it a little bit over one year now....still like 28-30 lbs to go.....
 
I'm back from my vacation!

I was in flagstaff AZ doin some camping for 4 days, came back to tucson for two days, then went to california for 5 days.

Rode some coasters at magic mountain.
I got to ride one I was TOO BIG for last time I went.... that was awesome :)

Went to the San Diego Zoo,
and spent two days at the beach.

SOOOO Awesome!!

My eating was horrendous!!!

I joked about putting on 20 pounds... well subconsciously I think thats what my body set out to do! I weighed in at 186 this morning! YIKESS!!!!!

No worry. I know how to do lost it so its not a big deal :) 10 of it is water and glycogen anyway. so maybe 10 pounds? I can definately see it tho... so some of it is definately fat.

Seriously... Losing weight isnt rocket science. Why dont people do what it takes and just get it over with? sure there are exceptions where maybe there is a medical reason.... but its more likely people lying to themselves

Accurately track your calorie intake by weighing and measuring your food. You're willing to eat nothing but cabbage or juice, or stuff that makes you poo anacondas, or whatever BS diet fad out there, drop lots of money on retarded supplements etc. but you won't take a few mins a day to weigh your food and keep track of it? There are programs that do all the hard math for you!?!

If eyeballing, and portion controlling work for you then great... but if you've been the same weight for any length of time, IT DOESN'T WORK FOR YOU!

suck it up and do the math!

Prioritize your protein and healthy fats, move more. quit lying to yourself. Get it done.
