Renewing my sense of worth. Again.

Ok. I HAD HAD HADDDD to dig out my laptop today! I can't stand not being able to get on here if I need to... And right now, I DEFINITELY need to be on here. I'm hungry, time for lunch, but jesus, I just wanna eat greasy food and chocolate right now... Horrible. SO, I had to sign on to prevent myself from doing it, haha! So far its working. Gonna make myself a sandwich on low cal bread, and maybe some soup. I've got nectarines for dessert if I need something sweet... I can do eeettt! lol.
Today is day2 of my challenge with ChefAshley; Day 1 was mehhh. Ok but not ok. Day 2 needs to be amazing... Will be back later to update!
 
We got this girl! I know how you feel though. I ended up having a cookie at work today.. grr. At least it wasn't 4 cookies. :) Damn PMS makes me crave sweets like crazy. Besides that I'm doin decent. Gettin my water and food under control, just gotta make time for some exercise now. Hope you have an awesome Day 3! If we just take this one day at a time, and one meal at a time, we can get through this together!! Love you!

Huh. Interesting... I just got on and there wasn't a post above ya, so it must've been deleted pretty quick!
So I did pretty good today. I AM eating a bag of coconut m&ms right now, lol, but I KNEW I'd crack if I didn't have some chocolate. I think 1 little bag(as opposed to an entired pint of ice cream, lol) is ok. Will be busting my butt at the gym tonight tho! SO happy to have someone to do this with, thanks :)
 
Hey Jess it's good to see you are back on here more often!!! You can do it! I think the way your cutting down on surgar gradually is the best way. I tried to go cold turkey on surgar and Caffein at the same time bad move! Good job on going to the gym even in this heat!

Uggggh. Cold turkey on chocolate? HAHA! NEVER gonna happen, lol. I DID go cold turkey on fast food restaraunts five years ago- it sucks sometimes when my sister comes home with taco bell or wendys, arrghhh!!! But I've stuck with that. I'm pretty proud of that... I still need my chocolate tho, lol.
 
Day 2 ended ok :) I ate my M&Ms, then did have a few of my sisters fritos. DIDN'T make it to the gym tho :( Passed out on my couch. efffff. I need to start scheduling specific times for workouts, so that I CAN'T fall asleep before I need to get there.

Work till 1230am tonight, then DEFINITELY to the gym :D

I noticed that most Gym goers go either from the gym to work or directly from work to the gym.....I am guessing once you are home sitting on your couch it's harder to get up and go!!!! I am hoping that soon I can get to the gym too!

Coconut M&Ms? Never heard of them. Make sure your watching the amount your eating. Dont want to ruin all your hard work over a candybar for the day.

I do agree with Verobc though... once Im at home I'm usually stuck here and its hard to get me to leave the house. But when I'm lying here thinking I should go to the gym but dont really want to, I think of how I feel once I actually get there and have that "I'm so glad I got off my butt and came here" moment.

Today was an amazing day. No joke :) I'm at 1520 for calories, which is a little low for right now(I'm trying to shoot to stay at about 1800 for the first few weeks), but I do plan on having a little something when I'm done working out.
My head hurts a little, urrgh. Pretty sure my shitty job has something to do with that, tho, haha.
I'm a little nervous about going to the gym tonight; I have skipped it a little to much lately :blush5: ... ahhh, its all good tho. I can get back into the stamina and energy I had at the peak of my workouts. Here goes!
 
Congrats on the amazing day!!!! The only way to get back your stamina it to go back to the Gym, too bad it can't be bought at the store like a stamina shot you take before a workout lol! That would be way to easy!!!!
 
I know everybody is different, and you may not get the same effects as I did. But a couple times I've tried the Gatorade Prime pouches(they taste weird but Fruit Punch is the best). You drink one 15 minutes before you work out. I noticed I lasted alot longer and didn't get burned out as fast. It could all be in my brain, but its how I felt at the time. I'd like to believe there is SOME science to their products. Thats how Gatorade got started in the first place. Its worth a shot to try it out I guess. They cost almost $2 a piece though, thats why I've only tried it like 3 times. I can't justify spending that money for EVERY TIME I work out.

I DID make it to the gym last night. Got in 43min of cardio, 2.8miles. NOT my strongest workout ever, lol. But, like I said, I know its gonna be rough for a little bit.
Todays going well also. Home for lunch right now, had a veggie wrap, delish!, and half a cantaloupe. Going to the gym after work, hoping for a better workout, lol!

Its after 3, I hafta work at 330, and I haven't even showered yet. Urrrg. I feel a long day comin' on.. AND, I just burnt the shit outta my lip on a goddamned leanpocket, lol. Yaayyyy....
 
So work blew today. GODDD! SOMEbody tell me why I insist on working in retail and customer service when I PRETTY much hate everyone. lol. Ahh, its not that bad, just gets frustrating dealing with assholes all the time. Ok. I'm over it now, lol.

Today was terrific calorie-wise. Ate healthy, stayed within my budget, drank loads of water, ate lots of fiber :) The scale is already showing me good things, yayyy! God, please let it keep going in the right direction!
I worked till 1230am, gotta work at 9am, so I'm not gonna make it to the gym tonight. Before I go to bed tho, I hafta post these pics. Ashley posted a pic of her scale(go you, lady, cuz I'm not that brave, lol!), so I thought I'd post my "oh good lord" pic. Its pretty horrifying, not gonna lie. In the ONE pic, I look pretty decent, lol(I'm the one with the big ole curly hair). In the other, jesus h, I look like I refridgerator. For the record: in my fridge pic, the other girl in black is actually larger than me. Hard to tell, huh. This would definitely hafta be my never gonna be again pic.

Annnyway, I'm off to bed. Hoping for a great day 5 tomorrow! :)

AAARRRGGGHHH! I was doing sooo terrific this week, the scale was even telling me great things, and then I went out for a friends bday and drank wayyyy to much. I had 2 red beers with clamato, and then about 8 shots. Errrgh. Then we went to dennys afterwards, and I was ok there- had a veggie ommlette with egg sub. DID eat some of the hashbrowns tho, so I sorta negated the good stuff...

Anyway, so far today I've been chuggin the water and for lunch I had a veggie sandwich and veggie chips. Time to go back to work, and after work, a huge workout. Here we go!
 
First week= -2lbs! YAYYY! Its a good number for minimal workouts, but I am pretty proud of sticking to counting calories, even with the boozin' it up on Saturday night.

Bad news tho- I'm effing sick. God I feel like crap :( just wanna crawl up in bed and not move. OR breathe, because it makes my throat hurt. EFFFFFF. Anyway, next two days off. Hopefully getting UN-sick, and chillin out at home.
