Avocados are fruits, they have a big pit/seed in the middle, remember?
And not all of them are pear shaped

Those are mostly Hass Avocados, I think. The one I had this morning was about the size of my fist, and it was delicious.
Have you ever had Guacamole? It's mostly just mashed up avocado with a few other yummy things added to it.
The black rice is pretty good, and it is defintiely whole grain and shares a lot of texture similarities with wild rice. It's got a chewier texture than nost of white rice, has the kernal and bran still intact, and has a different taste then most, but I couldn't begin to describe it other than to say it's mildly different.
I am going to have a nice bowl of the vindaloo veggies this evening and might not even add the sausages, etc. to my menu tonight. I'm really sleepy, even after a nap and I think I would rather sleep than eat.
Oh, I forgot to mention this: I sat in a chair last night that has been "too small" (metal arms that are set too close for my wide butt to fit in comfortably) for several years... and I just plopped right into it, no wedging needed. It was a really nice feeling, because I remember sitting uncomfortably in this chair many, many times, with it digging into my personal seat cushion; and this time I was able to plant myself and relax. A nice feeling, for sure.
