Weight is still 204lbs this morning. Really chuffed with that. My calories were just perfect for yesterday, came in round about 1290. I have only drunk wine ONCE in 11 days now! Feels amazing. Am really enjoying my one or two beers (I had 1.5 last night) in the evening and loving not relying on the vino to relax in the evenings. I also did an hours exercise outside of my day-to-day exercise yesterday (Be proud, Q!) I only did fast walking but it was intentional exercise, just not getting from a-b.

My new job will be a 2 mile walk away so I'm planning on walking at least 2-4 miles every day, just getting to work and back. So that'll be great!

Taking cracker breads and light cream cheese for lunch today (250) calories and just having a WW meal tonight (>400 cals) so that'll leave me lots of room for a healthy snack or two! xx
 
Oh man, I love that you've decided to walk to work. I wish I lived close enough to my job for that to be do-able (about 20 miles...I'd show up and be like...:svengo:). I think adding that into your daily routine will do wonders for you!

Maaaaan, I want food. Making cheese and bacon burgers tonight (750 cals!!) so need to stay pretty good on my snacking. Was going to have a WW meal tonight but Yank wants burgers and I know I'll end up picking at his if I have my WW meal so am just going to have the one and a huge salad instead. Should be yummy!!

So going to do my exercise DVD and then have a shower and by that time Yank should be home and I can start cooking dinner :D

Enjoy the bacon cheeseburgers. A little treat from time to time is good for you.

Doing a great job on the calories. If after a few weeks you're constantly hungry all the time, you probably have room to afford a few more if you need. But everyone is different so if it's working stick with it.
 
hey great to meet you. Excellent job on starting again. I too favor my wines and a good scotch and have been free of both for a month except for the one glass of vino as a celebration once I hit my first goal!

I've been trying to think of something good for supper too and I'm loving your idea. Won't have time to cook it for myself tonight, but it sounds mouth watering! Enjoy your treat. :)

I really am not craving foods like this... but I still have THAT reaction when someone mentions some decadent food to me. Man, am I programmed, or what??
 
They were amazing. Orgassssmic. Well worth the extra calories. And then I didn't snack at all the rest of the evening! Still sitting at 204lbs this morning so looking at at least a 2lb drop this week which I'm happy with!! :D

I ended up making nachos for dinner last night. Definitely not the healthiest of meals, but they were sooooo good so I'm right there with you on the burger thing. :)

Glad you down about 2lb this week. I'd call that a success! Keep at it.
 
Hullo my lovelies!

Sorry I've been rubbish at posting. I've been laid low with a horrible cold and I'm prone to chest infections so just hoping it'll sort itself out without getting any worse. Feeling rubbish! :nopity: So food choices haven't been good at all. Yesterday I had 6 crumpets! 6! They were delicious though. And then I had a take-out last night. Not good at all!

Still weighed in at 204 this morning so that's a solid loss of 2lbs for this week, despite my mistakes! Will be back on the wagon today with some low-cal ready meals for lunch and dinner. Should be good :D

No exercise done at all yesterday (playing video games for 8 hours doesn't count, right?) and the thought of going out today isn't appealing either, but will try a walk this afternoon.
 
Just completed the 30 day shred DVD--Really didn't want to but know I'll sleep better and feel better if I exercise so I did it! And now I do feel good! Still hacking up a lung with this cough but feel good about myself now.

Lunch: 3 crumpets (350) skips (86)
Dinner: WW chilli (434)
Seeds: pumpkin seeds (120)

Sorry you are under the weather :( Ugh, that is no fun. I'm glad to her that the exercise made you feel better! Funny how that works :)
 
Yuk! I hate being sick! Hopefully whatever's going on with you will go away soon. Glad you got some exercise in and feel better. Just remember to take care of yourself too. :)
 
Still feeling wank :willy_nilly: Not been a good day. I went to work and felt faint so my co-worker made me (like I was forced *rolls eyes*) to have a chocolate bar to get my sugars up. Should of just had sugary tea but caved as I felt so bad. And have had stomach cramps and hot flushes alllllll day. Few people are off at work with the same thing, some sort of viral infection. Hoping it's not that but my tummy hurts so much :(

Still bloody hungry though, aren't I!!?? :rant: Never mind. Have come home, cleaned the kitchen and put the slow-cooker on for tomorrows dinner. Chicken, mushroom and courgette casserole. And tonight is whatever I feel like making later. Either lean mince spag bol or quiche and home-made chips and salad. Feel so grotty but the house is a mess and know Yank wont bother to do it when he gets home so need to make a start on the hoovering. Got head-butted by one of the kids today as well so have a splitting headache and not in a great mood.

I got a bottle of wine to have a glass tonight--felt like I've earned it!! However, I have now gone 16 days and only had 1 bottle of wine! I've gone from one bottle a night to no wine at all, pretty much! Really proud of myself.

Now for cleaning *falls asleep*
