Put that down, fatty!

Hey great plans today! Funny you can control your weight more during the weekend - most people are the other way round. Good for you. I like how you try to incorporate exercise in your daily life by walking home from work. Good for you.

You have nice plans for the evening - enjoy! :)

A pound is still a pound. And you can control your eating more on the weekends. That's odd. I like the weekends just cause I don't have to work but trying to stay on track with food is hard for me. And as far as keeping tracks i just use pounds.

Thanks guys--know a pound is still a pound but at my size it should be coming off quicker than that considering I'm only in week 2. Never mind. We'll see what Sunday brings. I'm baby-sitting Saturday night so food will be good and I wont be able to drink so I'm hoping for a loss on Sunday morning.

I'm not sure why I find weekends so much easier to eat well. I usually get up late, which helps. And then I can distract myself easily so don't feel the need to eat. Also, I drink a TON of water on the weekends, usually to compensate for drinking little during the week. So that helps.

Day was good today. Walked home from work which I've calculated at 4 miles so I'm happy with that considering it's so hot here today! Waiting for the Yank to get home and then hopefully gonna go for a walk down to the beach and then for a cheeky drink in a beer garden somewhere before coming home to watch X-Files and put on face masks! Such a manly man I have :smilielol5:
He's such a keeper though. I get massages most evenings, he paints my nails, runs my baths, rubs my feet when I'm tired. He's brilliant. And likes to look good so I think we'll have a nice relaxing evening of baths and pampering! I know he's hoping for a little something something tonight but I feel like a giant whale today *flops around*

All the skinny minnies at work were talking about how fat their legs are and I'm literally twice the size of all of them. Felt a bit crappy. But I'm kicking butt with the food and exercise so I don't care! :ack2:

Calories will be low today but I've planned on that. I will be drinking tonight so I want my food to be a low as possible to counteract that slightly. I've drank a lot of water today and it's 5:15pm here and I'm not hungry at all so will wait until I'm hungry to have dinner so hopefully that will stop me snacking later !

Lunch: apple (50) quavers (109) carrot sticks (30)
Dinner: half a chicken and spinach thin crust pizza, not take-away (350) huge salad, no dressing (0) WW garlic bread (117)
Snacks:popcorn (400) wine (500)

Total: 1556
Exercise: 7 miles of walking

What a wonderful, happy relationship that sounds like! An pamper nights are absolutely necessary every now and then! So hopefully you are not too tired to enjoy that! Great job on the long walk! Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

My husband paints my nails & gives me massages!!! Love it! :beating: He would defo not put on face mask though! lol
Those pictures are beautiful - i wish we had places like that around here in walking distance..
Have a great weekend!

Those pics are beautiful. I went and ran today in a hop field. I wish I had some cool places like that to run/walk.

Thanks for stopping by my diary. Great job on the losses so far!
We are polar opposites. I find it much easier to eat the way I want during the week and find it much harder on the weekends!

Thanks for stopping by guys!

Drank far too much last night so woke up this morning, had breakfast and promptly went back to sleep until 3pm. What a waste of the day! Not helped by the fact a wisdom tooth is coming through and is soooo painful. Been taking painkillers and rinsing with salt water but my whole face hurts so not very pleased.
However, when I woke up from my nap I went on a 1.5 hour walk with Yank to the seafront so I've done some exercise at least. Then I'm walking to my friends house to babysit which will be another 3 miles walking total. Gonna take some low-cal stuff to snack on as I'm having an early dinner this evening.

Breakfast: Beans on toast (350) I ATE BREAKFAST! It's a miracle.
Lunch: skipped as ate breakfast late.
Dinner: breaded chicken breast with cheese and ham inside but is a "healthy option meal" (270) home-made chips cooked in 1 calorie spray (150) salad leaves, no dressing (0)
Snacks:

Total:
Exercise: 6 miles walking

You do lots and lots of walking! Do you have a car or are you at the mercy of public transportation and your own two legs to get you places? It's kind of nice relying on public transportation so you can sneak in functional exercise whenever you can.

No car so at the mercy of public transport and my feet! :D

Anyone know how to ease pain from wisdom teeth coming through? Can't afford the dentist til next payday :(

It might be worth trying oil of cloves... I have used it for toothache before and I just googled it and it appears to help teething... You can get a little bottle at any chemist for a pound or two...

Thanks so much--Will go hunt for some after work tomorrow. Think tooth ache is such a crappy pain because it makes your whole face hurt. Luckily I have a neighbor who has loads of USA painkillers (they're stronger, apparently?) so dosed up to the eyeballs.

One silver lining is I'm completely unable to eat anything right now! So I've been up since 8am and it's not 1:40pm and I've eaten nothing. Unless gargling salt water and sucking ice cubes counts as foods. :ack2:

Just done a 25 min walk--All I could face today.

And I weighed in at 14st 13lbs today so a loss of just 1 pound this week. I'll take that. Last week I only ate Weight Watchers meals instead of proper food (they are horrible, horrible meals) but it gave me a good kick start and I think I've lacked ideas this week, going back to meals I know aren't great for me.

So me and Yank just did a food shop and I have apples, low-fat cream cheese, 3 Weight watchers meals, lean mince, mushrooms, etc. Yank brought snickers bars :willy_nilly: Must avoid!

Not sure what dinner will be tonight.
My face feels like it may possibly fall off which will certainly aid weight loss but might frighten the kids at work tomorrow.

Now for crappy TV (Hannibal, Hells Kitchen and Vikings!) and lots and lots of water. And maybe a crumpet with marmite. I bloody love crumpets. And they are soft and delicious and will (probably) not make my face fall off.

Hey well done on the 1lb loss!

I agree with Omega about clove oil - does wonders for me. Usually use 6 drops in a sip of water & gargle for about a minute (keeping the liquid on the toots that troubles you) - I use it if i have infection, swollen gums too - cures them in days.

Have a nice Sunday!

Oh no, tooth aches are the worst :-( I hope your able to find something that helps fast! Aside from the American painkillers, haha.

Say no to the Snickers!

Thanks my lovelies. Tooth ache seriously sucks. Never mind--Will be on the mend soon :D

Calories were at just over 1000 yesterday. Imagine today will be much the same as it's 530pm and I'm eaten a grand total of sweet fuck all. Tried to have a cup of soup for lunch at work and it just wasn't happening. Went to dentist after work and I have an infected wisdom tooth so on 7 days of antibiotics and a lot of codeine. Which is making me feel wonderfully sleepy and floaty but not an option for work as I feel drunk when I take them. Nearly fell asleep at work twice today after taking a few so wont be taking them tomorrow day time!

Dinner is spag bol tonight (all home-made sauces, lots of veg, lean mince, low-cal cheese and WW garlic bread) which will come in at about 800 calories but seeing how that's all I'll be eating today I'm not concerned! Also made sugar free jelly as I know I'll be able to eat that comfortably!

Had to go the Vets today to get antibiotics for my pet rat Einstein so we can both be poorly together. :ack2:

Hope everyone's doing good :smash:
