Oh well, we all had some nights we wouldn't call the proudest moments of our lives, though mine never ended with me throwing myself down the stairs twice (yet) :cool:

Back in ancient times I played college football (the American violent kind). By the time I was a senior in college I had to have both ankles and both knees taped before every practice and game. Now I am the first to know when the weather is going to change because I feel it in my joints. I am still prone to rolling my ankles. But hey, it sent me to college for free!
 
Haha awesome 'war' story lol. I'm so sorry to hear about your losses but good on you for dealing with it in a healthy way with exercise!

Hey guys--thanks for checking in on me.

Ankle is still pretty bad but I've been walking on it. I did a 3 mile walk yesterday to collect some chairs for Yank's 30th Birthday BBQ. Quite stressed about money (as usual :nopity:) so when I saw them on freecycle I couldn't turn them down! So I got some exercise at least.

Food yesterday wasn't great. Bacon and brie sandwich (hangover cure) in the morning and I shared a pizza in a restaurant with my friend. And then I drank beer. Too much beer.

Heading to a food festival today (ohhhh, the irony) and I'm going to be good as gold! It's boiling here so can't stand being outside for too long so will be a brief visit at least!

I start the new job a week tomorrow so I NEED this week to be perfect. All my meals are included at my new job so I need to have a good week to set me up for a good first week at the childrens home. Fed up of the scales floating between 204 and 207. I WILL SEE 203 THIS WEEK!
 
Right, I will have a perfect day today.

The plan for today sooooo far is:

L: crackers with light philli (125) apple (40)
D: chicken wrapped in bacon with asparagus (230) 5% fat chips (200) salad and dressing (30)
S: low-cal crisps (130) WW ice cream (76) seeds (100) beer (129)

T: 1060
E: 30 mins in the gym..Couldn't hack anymore in this heat. 10 miles on the bike

Day is shaping up to be perfect so far!

Exercise is done, although it is SO hot here right now so I didn't stay for very long. :hurray:
Didn't snack AT ALL at work today. Have come home and got out a HUGE back of crisps but have portioned them out and am having a small amount and not the whole bag! Defrosting some chicken which is wrapped in baaaacon (nom nom nom) which I'm having with low-cal chips and salad. Should be tasty.

Now to just avoid the late night snacking. Need to stick to apples!!
 
10 miles on the bike in 30 min is a very nice pace! I am getting about 8.5 on my bike if I work pretty hard. I think I may move toward 9 pretty soon but if I am increasing my time to 45 minutes or so like I have been most days lately I pace myself at 8 in 30 or alittle faster.

Brawny--thanks! I did pretty well actually, that was a new best for me. I figured since I didn't want to stay long I should kick ass as much as I could in the 30 mins. No way I could get that sort of distance if I was riding an actual bike outside but somehow it feels easier in the air conditioned gym! :p

Funeral tomorrow and food is provided. Imagine I wont eat as it's supposed to be the hottest day of the year tomorrow and that always screws with my appetite--as well as the fact that I'll probably be quite a sad panda. Will be nice to say goodbye though..

Kept my calories very good today, about to add them up and edit my post so we'll see!

I will be in Iceland, climbing a glacier in April 2014. I will be in Barcelona at a water park (ohdearsweetbabyjesusmywobblybits) in 3 weeks time. I will be on the Isle of Wight camping and swimming with friends in 4 weeks time.
Will the motivation to exercise come naturally?
I bloody well hope so!

How I felt last time I dropped 50lbs. Sexy, happy, comfortable and confident.

Thanks guys :grouphug: Funeral was beautiful :) Right in the middle of the forest and so many people showed up. Was a really peaceful ceremony. Tired now so not going to much the rest of today

Food has been good--it's it's 15:45 and I've only just had lunch so will be late dinner then bedtime.
