Well today SUCKS! My old job (Waterstones ze bookshop) sent me a lovely letter saying they over-paid me in Jan and I owe them £466. Like...WTF? I went in TWICE to work saying I'd been over-paid and was assured EACH time that it was correct and not to worry!

Sweet fuck all I can about it though. Yank has offered to pay but I dont like taking money off him, even if I'll pay it back. Sigh sigh sigh.

Anyway, still happy about yesterdays loss but didnt go to the gym today. Was on my way out the door to go, and then got that letter from work and was too upset/angry to do much else apart from cry/sulk. I MUST go tomorrow because I cant go Friday - Monday because I'm back home :( Maybe I'll try and do a class whilst I'm back home but I know we have lots planned :( Ah well, they'll be lots of walking at home at least.

Tonight I'm going to see "Kick Ass" at the cinema with Yank and my girl-friend and her boyface. Should be good :) I fancy treating myself tonight because...well..all my money from now on will be going back to FUCKING WATERSTONES!! *sobs*

Today:

Breakfast: ham and philli sandwich - 170
Lunch: WW soup - 70. Half a pizza - 400
Dinner: small bowl of pasta - 250
Snacks: popcorn - 250. crisps - 120 glass of wine - 125

Total: 1385

Not bad!

I am so so sorry to hear about your old job sending that letter. It is times like those that I am thankful I work for myself. Enjoy your night off you deserve it after all of your success and kick some butt at the gym tomorrow! Your doing awesome.
 
Thanks Disney--I'm really annoyed about it. It's not so much the money (even though i'm a student without an income right now!!) but the principle of the matter. I went in to enquire about why I'd got so much and was told it was fine and if it was a little over it was "probably an xmas bonus for you." My manager is such a piece of shit *rolls eyes* Glad I'm out of there now!
 
Find out if they accept Monopoly money... If so, I might be able to help you... Seriously though, that sucks! I hate when a wrench is thrown into the works!! :banghead:

P.S. You must tell me how Kick Ass is, because I think it looks cute and funny and just might break my vow of peverty at some point to go see it myself!

Had a loverly night last night :) Kick-Ass was VERY good and I was VERY good and had no wine! Just several SoCo's and diet lemonade and then a few vodkas at home ;)

Today I was VERYYYY good and went to the gym and did an hour on the cross-trainer! I've been building up to doing 20 mins because after that my legs just seem to give up but today I managed it for a whole hour! And burnt 850 calories!

Today:
Breakfast: WW brekkie bar - 80
Lunch: Litre of water, green tea, philli snack box - 114. fresh pineapple - 80
Dinner: home-made chips - 200
Snacks: twiglets - 500 Brekkie bar -80

Total: 1054

Exercise: one hour on cross trainer - 850 CALORIES DOWN!!

DUDE you burnt 850 on the cross trainer? That's amazing.
Your total intake yesterday then is like 200 cals if that.
Less than that since your body uses like 2000 just to function in a day.

Well this weekend was okay. Massive victory in one way because I have not had a single bite of chocolate!! Well, half a bite of ONE square of dairy milk but that's like..5 calories. I was really annoyed actually. My Mum has been trying to lose weight for YEARS. She's "tried" (and by tried I mean half-asses it for a few weeks, gets bored and eats herself to death) Weight Watchers and several other places. She's always pushed me to get fit, which I thank her for but I got SO cross over the weekend.
So, I was sat next to Yank looking sadly at his chocolate and sighing because I wanted some. Mum was sat on the floor chewing the head off her Lindt Bunny like it was going to be stolen from her at any second. This is AFTER she ate THREE chicken sandwiches, 4 glasses of wine, half an easter egg AND a huge Roast Dinner at lunch time. I've stuck to my 1500 calories for the day but have just enough for a bit of choccie (and for the love of god, IT'S EASTER! I shall eat damn choccie til I puke if I want to!) and my Mum looked at my Dad, who looked at me and said...

"That's a slippery slope there, Hana..Don't do it!"

Which is fine. I glare at him and stuff it in my gob anyway, it's 25 cals a square and I've had HALF a square. I tell him to mind his own buisness and mum looks at him again and rolls her eyes. WHILST SHE IS STUFFFFFING HER FACE. And she's bigger than me!

Wish she'd get off her high horse and do this with me! She KNOWS she needs to get fit and I've offered to do the buddy system with her to little avail. Sigh. Just annoys me when they both get involved.

/rant over.

Anyway, I stayed between 1200-1500 calories for the whole weekend. Had a burger at a pub one day which was a bad choice on my behalf but I figured I should not have two roast dinners in as many days!

Have WW tomorrow and am pretty sure I wont have lost anything as I only got to the gym once this week, although I did 3 dog walks and various activity type things over the weekend.

Lunch: Roast Dinner. 600

Snacks: WW cookies - 100


I even GAVE AWAY my Lindt Bunny! WW lady told me it was 119 points for a large one. Enough to make sure I wouldnt lose any weight this week so I gave it to my skinny house-mate ;)

:eek: And don't you get something like 20 points a day (depending on weight, if I remember right)? Wow... Good for you for giving it away!

Sorry about the issue with your mom. I've been in simular situations and it's so frustrating! It's so hard not to say "well, you would know". You'll show her, though!
 
Yeah I get like 23 points a day! 119 is just insaneeee.

I have a question for everyone/anyone.

I have WW tomorrow. I'm almost SURE I'll either be the same or will have put on a pound or two because of the Easter weekend/wine/empty calories...So should I save the money and not go this week..Or should I go anyway, even if I think it wont be good?
