Hey on a (somewhat) serious note... what EXACTLY do I need to buy for my shakes? I want to use my whey protein but I wanna give this "poo babies" thing a try lol... So what do I need to buy? How much do I put in the shake? And do I do it to all my shakes (I usually have 2-3), everyday? And no milk in the shakes right? Ha! And will it work with my diet or do I need to be following yours exactly? THANKS!

HAHAHAH!!!!!....I SHOULDn't be HELPING the COMPETITION with my SECRET POO BABIES......;) hehehe....BUT since I'll STILL WHUP all OF YOU anyway....IT'll BE kinda FUN to GIVE you all a FAIR CHANCE!!! SO when WE "PLAYMATES" whip OUT the CAN of "WHOOP ASS".....you CAN"T say I DIDN'T TIP ya!!! CHING CHING!!! :iagree: SO here goes....

POO BABY recipe: Psyllium SEEDS
WATER/ICE
SOY or WHEY protein POWDER
YOUR choice of fruit.....I USE frozen rasberries and blueberries....
they are supposed to rev up your system...but I alternate....
1/3 banana.....makes it YUMMY

.........SO BASICALLY......this IS YOUR MEAL as you have BEEN doing......and the POO BABIES come from the PSYLLIUM SEEDS.....aka.....FIBER......so I put about 3-4 tablespoons......I EYE ball it NOW......but DRINK it FAST ....because THE FIBER...EXPANDS in the WATER....that is NOT the GOAL.....the GOAL is for the FIBER to EXPAND YES.....but NOT in the CUP.....but IN YOUR stomach.....so FASSSST!!!
ALSO...yes....EVERY single TIME I ADD it to EVERY single SHAKE....and I have about the SAME amount of SHAKES as YOU DO!!!......IF no POO BABIES....then YOU AREN"T putting enough PSYLLIUM SEEDS and CRANK it UP!!!


So that's the SECRET.....NOW DRINK up my LITTLE witches.....for I HAVE just GIVEN YOU THE SECRET to the WITCHES BREW!!!!! ;) .............HAHAHAH...............!!!

Okay... Alta has me on fire! Got up this morning, had a healthy breakfast and then headed to the gym! YES I WENT TO THE GYM! :svengo: Ain't no way no silly little bunnies are gonna beat me! HA!

So... 30 minutes of cardio and legs today.... HOO HOO HOOTERS! :D

Headed to my lunch cardio and then back to class. :(

Hey! I haven't had a chance to read your whole journal yet, but I'll get to it eventually. If you want to up your fiber without some nasty shake you can just throw flaxseeds or take a flaxseed oil supplement.

Anyways, just wanted to say, bust your ass... Vegas will be here before ya know it :).
 
wow, looks like some friendly competition going on here! lol Wanna hear something funny??? you know I was the reason for the very 1st challenge to happen on the WLF?? yea, i don't know if thats brag worthy or not, lol

anyways, hows your day going?? got any cool plans??? not me, i'm gonna be cleaning all day...w/ 2 kids and a hubby it just doesn't ever end!!

HEY! SO glad you stopped by! I didn't know flaxseed was a good source of fiber... I used to take the pills when I was tiny! I might have to look into that! But I might just have to give Alta's shake a try to see what all the hype is about ha... can't let her beat me! NO WAY!

I saw the recipe Alta gave you for her PooBabies shake, LOL... I might have to try some of that Psyllium Husk stuff in my shakes, I'm all about being more regular lately :)

I've been making this shake for awhile now with Whey Protein I get from Costco. It's pretty good, and it comes in a pretty big bag that lasts awhile, even if you have a shake with two scoops everyday.... I'm picky about the whey protein, so I finally found one I like. It tastes the best if you put in a little skim milk, and then water, then I usually throw in some banana because it tastes good and I heard it's good for you after a workout?...

I'm making a trip up to O-town this weekend... I hope I make it back alive, LOL. I'm going up to rescue my friend who isn't adjusting well... She isn't moving back, she just needs a weekend with a dear friend. She's really not liking Ogden lately.....

I sent dh out to look for some Psyllium Husk too. I googled it, and it sounds like they're little scrubbers for your insides.

I might have to check out that protein from Costco... I have a membership but since it's not in my city, I rarely go...

You'll have to let me know what you think... I don't really have a problem in that area lol, just wanted to see what ol' Alta was up to mostly. BUT if it's not good tasting, I will have to go with "Big Mac's" suggestion of flaxseed... I have a weak stomach and if something nasty is in my mouth, I'm gaggin' it right back up! LOL

No worries girl! I know you were slammed at work! I'm just glad you're joining our challenge! That's weird about the tag... maybe if I email it to you?

Okay well it's late so I'm going to bed. Didn't do well today... lots of running around looking at houses and shopping so I only get my water points for the day.:( Hopefully I can get some exercise in tomorrow. NIGHT ALL!
