hm just scoping out the competition lol jk We're all here to support ya! Weekends are tough to stay focused but I'm sure you'll be giving us a run for our money....now if only we could get a team name together lol
 
Nah, surely you didn't!! You just have to kick the water, and work off anything that's left.

My scale says I am up 0.8! Not too much, whew.

Looks like we have some work to do today!! Drink lots of water, it works as a diuretic and will flush you out.

Yeah, I'm sure it's alot of salt... NO WAY I actually gained THAT much in 3 days! LOL I will down the water, do two cardio sessions and get it off!
 
Day 13- Week 2- 6 Week Body Makeover

Today is day 13 of the Six Week Body Makeover. I TOTALLY BLEW IT THIS WEEKEND! Went to Lava Hot Springs with the Hubby for our 2 year anniversary and ate bad foods... not TONS of them but definitely bad foods... So today the scale is up. I'm not going to change my ticker today though... going to drink and sweat it out and see what the scale says tomorrow.

I definitely learned something over the weekend... I feel like crap when I eat those foods! I feel so much better when I'm "satisfied" but not FULL! No more of that kind of continuous SH** eating EVER AGAIN! LOL

I'm SUPPOSED to post 2 week update pics tomorrow... don't think that's going to happen! We'll see...
Anyway... GO TEAM HOOTERS! We're going to kick some a**!

Love the new avi :) One of my friends worked at Hooters for awhile, so we still like to go in and get the hook up from her old friends that still work there. I only let myself do it once and awhile but, for wings and buffalo shrimp, there's none better, imo....

What the hell is going on with this site? Do you know? I just remember you mentioned you had the same type a thing going on when your computer was on this site too... It's seriously annoying. It takes me like 10x as long to read posts, and I can't ever see my emoticons that I love to pepper my posts with, lol.... Hopefully all will be back to normal soon.

Lava Hot Springs sounds divine right about now :)

Hang in there, this past weekend we all had some slips. Time to just jump right back on the wagon, right?

I hear ya girl! One thing I really like about the new guy that I am with is that we share entrees. We usually share a salad or appetizer and then one dinner. It's great because our American portions are out of control. Also, I am eating really slow now and filling up a lot faster so I tend to eat less of the bad stuff. It's small steps but in the right direction. I'm really trying to choose better options on the menu, but sometimes it is nice to splurge. The beauty of it is that we can get right back on the wagon afterwards :)

NOW....see I WAS feeling like.....DAMN....the COMPETITION is GETTING the BETTER of ME!!!....BUT now THAT I see YOUR strategy.......IT"S on BABY!!! ;)

Thanks Sam! My stuff all looks fine now but I feel ya on the frustration! I couldn't post quickly either... Or I would post a damn novel only for it not to accept it cuz it took so long, it logged me out! LOL Is yours still messed up?

Lava was great! We're actually thinking of selling our Bear Lake home and buying one in Lava instead... we'll see.

My weight is not going back down from this weekend's binge... I'm done binging. It pisses me off that I'm back up to 160.

I'm serioulsy thinking no more cheat days EVER lol.. I am so pissed that I gained this weight back so fast... But Team Hooters is still gonna kick ya'll's butts! ;)

Day 15- Week 3- 6 Week Body Makeover

Okay... I am at the beginning of week three of this thing and week 2 totally messed it up! I lost 5.5 pounds in week one and nothing in week 2 because I let life take control of my eating! BAD IDEA! Life is going to happen regardless and it's not always going to be an ideal time to exercise and/or eat right... I just have to remember how much better I felt physically with healthy food inside me AND how much better I felt mentally knowing I was making progress!

So I'm back... back to telling myself, "JUST FOR TODAY..." I'm going to do this! I WILL be going to the gym tonight and I WILL be busting out TWO cardio sessions a day until this stupid a** 25 pounds is gone!
 
So... I did 30 minutes of walk/running today while my kids ate lunch at our local school... PERFECT way to get in a little extra cardio so that TEAM HOOTERS CAN KICK SOME PALMS PLAYMATE BOOTY! ;)

Any"hoo" (hoo... hooters... team hooters... get it? jk)... I WILL be going to the gym tonight. I WILL be doing another 30 minutes of cardio and some weight training...

Off to eat some healthy snacks!
