Walking / Running
moabnut, My knees are in good shape. Even thou I have had problems with them before. Also back problems. At my weight I have to be very careful not to push to hard. One day of thinking I'm superman could put me out for a very long time. I'm in this for the long time so I take it very easy. I usually walk & jog (the jogging is very slow, so is the walking for that matter). If I walk the whole 4 miles it takes about 70 Min's. now. If I walk & jog it takes 55-65 Min's. If I jog the 4 miles which I did today, since it had been a long time it took 48 Min's. Which is the my best time by a few Min's. Since I ran the whole way today for the next 2 days I will not run one step, it just not worth the chance. Maybe I'm being to cautious, but I just don't want to get hurt & regret it.

PS - I did actually run a 10-K (6.2 miles) in 40 Min's 59 Secs. That was many years ago. I'm looking forward to the running.
