On my way to 63kgs

Thanks Cabbie. My daughter will be 21 in January. I also have a 34 year old son that I had when I wasn't quite 20. Can't believe that I was a mother when I was the age my daughter is now.

The photo looks great Ecky - you look happy and slim and healthy!!

Your sister's photos are very good though - high quality and great composition - no wonder she makes money at it.

Hey Ecky - sorry to hear that you were sick *hugs* infections suck.

You look so great in your photos! Your sister does good work :) Your daughter is beautiful too. My mum had my brother at 18, and she still finds it weird that she had 3 year old at my age. My mother-in-law had 2 by 21 - I have no idea how either of them did it at such a young age. I don't think I could handle the responsibility of kids just yet.

Have fun on your weekend away - the hotel sounds lovely and the food should be amazing being french owned. I think most Brits just love to complain about the French lol.

I can't wait until I can shop in normal stores. I had a dream about it last night actually haha. You are such an inspiration!

Lisa.

Being a mother at 20 isn't so bad. My sister had 2 kids before she was 18. I went the other way and didn't have my first till I was 27. And you sure don't look old enough to have a son just a few years younger than me!

That is so exciting! You look so slim and young...it must feel so good to be in photos and feel you look great in them!

Your sister really is quite talented.
And your whole family is really attractive. Your daughter is just adorable!

I'm glad you're feeling better and that you had such fun news to share!

Thank you all for you lovely words :D
Well I went to a friends birthday party and had a lot of fun. 10 of us went out for a girls night out. We went for a chinese meal and then to a karaoke bar. I ate more than I should but danced it off as we were dancing for about 3 hours. My daughter came and then my friends 18 year old son joined us for karaoke. Him and my daughter did Barbie Girl but he sang the part of Barbie in a high pitched voice and my daughter did the part of Ken in a deep voice. I haven't laughed so much for ages.

We are off to a hotel for a couple of nights tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to it after the dissapointment of not being able to go a couple of weeks ago. All in all a great week.:D

Thank you both. It's pouring torrential rain at the moment so I hope that by Sunday morning when we want to go walking it will be all rained out.:)

Hey Ecky
Hopefully your weekend away turns out a bit better this time :)

There's always indoor pursuits if its raining :)

Anna

Thanks, we'll enjoy it whatever the weather does and the hotel has a little gym and a hot tub and sauna.

Ecky, you would have me at hot tub... Enjoy the weekend and hopefully the weather straightens out. Get some good me time with hubby.

Hope you have a lovely time away with your husband Eycky. The photo of you, your dad & daughter is a beautiful, loving photo. It's gorgeous! Your family are very lucky to have you :beating: xo Cate

Hi all, We had a great weekend :D
Didn't do too well on the eating but then didn't expect to but weighing myself this morning the exercise seems to have counteracted the food.
The hotel wasn't the nicest but it had a really nice spa with swimming pool, jacuzzi, turkish bath, sauna and gym. The dinners were pretty awful and so I was quite disgusted with myself for overeating when I didn't even enjoy it. The breakfast were nice though and I ate far too many croissants.
On Sunday we went on a 6 hour walk and walked quite fast and only had fruit at midday. Then we came back and spent a couple of hours relaxing in the spa.
Yesterday we went on a walk for a couple of hours and then spent 4 hours wandering around an aquarium.
It was all very nice and relaxing and lovely to get time on my own with my hubby. I even told him to go out and watch the football while I stayed at the hotel and read and I'm glad I did as Barcelona won 8 -0 and he would have been gutted to have missed it.
Definitely what I needed to re-charge my batteries and my dad was good as gold for my sister so she will be a lot more willing to look after him now than she was after the terrible time she had with him the last time I went away.

I'm glad you had a lovely time, Val :) Sounds lovely! How come the dinners weren't great? Hotel food is always a little hit and miss, isn't it?!
