Hi Eycky, I'm so sorry you have been having a hard time of it lately. I think it's truly admirable what you do for your father. That was a wise move putting your father back on his old medication & I'm really glad you have your sweet dad back again. I hope that you & your hubby get to have your relaxing week-end away as I'm sure you both deserve it. It's lucky that you didn't hurt yourself more when you passed out! You must try to look after yourself Eycky as well as you do everyone else.

My infection turned out really bad and totally knocked all my strength out of me. Anyway I'm feeling much better now and have just taken my last antibiotic. Just caught up with over a dozen diaries. Hope nobody was forgotten.
I went to the shops yesterday afternoon and bought a top in a shop that before didn't ever have anything in my size even though they sell what they call XL. I tried the XL and it was too big and they hadn't got and L so my daughter said to try the medium. Perfect fit!!!!!! I was so chuffed. I love being able to shop anywhere now.
No need to feel sorry for me about looking after my dad. Most of the time it really isn't a problem but occasionally if gets difficult ( like most people's jobs) but it really isn't much harder than looking after quite a well behaved young child.

It's cool to fit into normal clothing isn't it? I can't quite, some places yes, but its my height that is the issue, not my width any more.
 
LOL I forgot to tell you all that I'm a model now!!!!!! My sister is a photographer and takes photos to sell for use on websites, ads, flyers, magazines etc. Each photo can be sold multiple times. A couple of weeks ago she was photograping my daughter and dad and asked me to be in some of the photos. This one she uploaded and it has already been sold 15 times.

She was taking some of my daughter pretending to be dad's doctor like this one and my daughter has a phobia about wrists so I did some as the doctor taking his pulse. Can't put them up as she hasn't processed them yet.
Amazing that I have gone from refusing to have my photo taken to modelling for my sister :D

Eycky! My goodness I can hardly believe that's you in that photo! You look so happy and so FIT!!!! Way to go!

You must be so proud of yourself - I know I am! Keep up the great work girl - you are such an inspiration to us all!

It just something that she came across on the internet and thought that she was as good as the photographers selling there so gave it a try. She started doing it as a hobby but now makes really good money. Give it a go when you have some spare time. Here's her online portfolio if you want a look.

The photos are all of family and friends so she doesn't have to pay models. If you can take photos as good as that then have a go as it's a great way of earning extra cash.

Well I've done a lot of walking this week but we need to get down to harder exercise next week.
I finally get my 2 nights a way on Saturday. We will be doing loads of walking and have just found out that the hotel has a little gym along with a jacuzzi and sauna. The bad bit is it's buffet breakfast and evening meal and like a true Brit I have to get my moneys worth!!! We plan on walking all day so the damage shouldn't be too bad.
We've been reading bad reviews about the hotel but mostly from Brits who don't like the fact that the hotel is geared to the French and they felt as if they were only tolerated but luckily my husband is a french speaking Belgian so we should be ok. The food will probably also be good in a French owned hotel. I just hope that the weather stays dry. I don't mind it being cold for walking but it would be a problem if it got too wet.
 
Very cool pictures. You look great! And echoed, your daughter is also just beautiful. How old? My daughters are 23 and 21.
