On my way to 63kgs

Thanks :D

The tickets were 70€ ( about 90$). The most expensive were 400€ and they have just put some more seats up for sale at 50€ but they are right at the other end of the stadium. How much did you pay? I'm starting to really look forward to Andrea Bocelli as I have listened to a lot of his songs this week and his voice is amazing. One of the songs is one that my mum always played, Con Ti Partiro and is beautiful. I'll probably have a few tears when he sings that.
It's very rare that we get popular performers come here so I'm hoping that the success of this will encourage others to come.
Have a great weekend

We paid 150$Can each, (at the time Can dollar was almost parity with US dollar). All the tickets were the same price. We had floor seats, (which made it difficult at times for my wife to see at times) about in the middle of the arena. (Small arena which seats approx 5000 people.)
I think they put up more seats for sale just before the concert behind the stage, (no restricted views as all speakers were hung from the ceiling) for about 90$.
And a few hours before the concert, they added two more rows directly infront of the stage....lucky sobs to get those seats!!!

Love to hear how Andrea was....that in itself would be piceless!

Enjoy!!!

Oops I was forgetting that you are in Canada!!!
Our tickets work out really cheap then considering we have got 2 super stars. The stadium holds 25000 people and the expensive tickets are for seats that are being put on the pitch and for the boxes. I'm glad that we are sitting as I would be uncomfortable standing up for hours. The stadium is really steep so I think we will get unrestricted views from anywhere. :)

Soooooo, how was the concert?!?! I hope you had a fantastic time!!
Fantastic, amazing, wonderful, what can I say!!!!!!!!!
I'm an all time Elton John fan but I think that I enjoyed Andrea Bocelli even more. He brought me to tears more than once and the last songs Con ti Partiro and Nessun Dorma were 2 of the most beautiful things that I have heard in my life.
Andrea Bocelli was on for 2 hours with breaks while other performers came on and Elton John did 2 hours straight through. Amazing at his age. He sang just about everything that I hoped he would. (except for Nikita)
Topped it off with 2 peices of chicken and some chips at KFC but to my defense we were starving and only fast food was available at 1.30 in the morning. :)
I was so glad that I lost weight first as 5 hours there would have been a nightmare for me trying to get comfortable in a hard chair. I get backache when I sit too long on hard surfaces but not nearly as much as I used to.

Wow! Sounds like it was pretty memorable Eycky!!! <you lucky dawg>

I thought Elton John was the cat's ass.....to see Andrea in the same venue is unimagineable.

Glad you enjoyed it!!!

Hey Ecky, that's so awesome! Glad you had a great time :)

Btw, I read somewhere that if you're experiencing a plateau, then its good to let yourself have a bit of time "off" foodwise and increase your calories for a while. I don't really know why, but I'll see if I can find out for you if you want?

Lol, in England it's not the cat's ass but the dog's b***ocks. It's now rumoured that Robbie Williams is coming. I'd love to see him as he is such a show man.

Hi, thanks for joining my thread :)
I've read that as well so I'm using the this month and last month to eat a few more calories and concentrate on making muscle rather than lose weight. Although I haven't lost weight for a while I actually feel more toned so have probably lost fat but gained muscle. Next month I'm going to drop my calories again and get a lot more active being as the weather will be cooler.

I went for a nice hike in the woods with my husband late this afternoon and we found a fig tree and picked and ate fresh figs. Delicious!!!

Hi! Thanks for welcoming me here! I see you almost reached your goal: good for you! I have to lose more or less the same amount of weight that you had to, I hope I'll be as good as you!

Dogs what??? lol

Glad you had a great time. No idea who Robbie Wlliams is....even after googling so you're on your own there! lol

Have a great day....I'm off in a few minutes and looking forward to a hot sauna.

Take care!

I'm shocked that Robbie Williams isn't world famous. One of my favourite songs ever

Enjoy your sauna. I can't stand them for more than a few minutes as they make me feel claustrophobic.

Oh he probably is world famous Eycky....I just never heard of him lol.

I feel the same way in the sauna....but after a few drinks, it mysteriously passes :D

I don't think we want to know what Flumes gets up to in the sauna!!! Not after the pool story!!!! hehehe

Glad you had a fantastic time Eycky!!

Doesn't being in the sauna make you feel those few drinks a LOT more too? That's what it does for me! Almost to the point of it being too much - so I don't usually mix the 2.
