Omega's journey

We sure will.

We do pretty well for all our foibles.

When we get that focus in place - actually no-one can beat us.

Hey Omega!

Thanks for dropping by.. :) u remind me of myself ..I tend to neglect my looks (looking a bit scary at the moment as i'm growing my eyebrows coz the lady who threads it over did it) and yeah i love to apply those moisturising lotions at nights to my arms, legs and feet.. (it makes a lot of difference!! ) I find it hard to lose weight..its so easy to gain weight that i have to watch everything I eat now..Anyways hows your hubby doing now? Hope he is feeling better now..

Hi Moonlit

Thanks for dropping by too.

Unfortunately all PCOS ladies put on weight far too easily and have a real struggle to lose it. You are so sensible to be vigilent at your size - you will save yourself a real nightmare.

Hubby's foot is a lot better today - but he is still full of cold. I think that at this rate he will be unwell most of the week - and he normally gives me his nasty germs. We have never mastered the art of keeping our distance from each other. All I have to do is keep him away from chocolate as much of the time as possible. We always were a very bad influence on each other.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Margaret,
You continually amaze me! I wish I had your motivation. Good to see you've motivated your hubby. :)
Thanks for stopping in my journal. It was really nice to come back after a week to see you had posted.

Anne

Hi Anne and Bellaryna

Thanks for visiting my diary and encouraging me.

Hubby is still off work sick with this cold bug going about. Between that and the gout I cannot see him getting any walking done for a few days.

He is trying hard with his food - and is particularly good when you consider that we all like to treat ourselves a little when we are not feeling well.

I am up to 6.8 miles so far today (3.20pm) and have also had a yoga class today (exercises plus 15 mins meditation in the 1:30 hours long lesson). I am off out for my second walk in a minute. It will be dark by the time I get home.

Take care
Love

Wow..Your poor sweet hubby! He must have it really good.

My hubby started in last night with a sore throat/cough.

I made him take airborne and some other meds.

This morning I gave him more airborne and vitamins.

He was feelin' better...lol

He was like, Quit shoving stuff down my throat! :smilielol5:

I told him to hush and obey. :D LOL!

You're doin' super awesome as always Margaret and I'm very proud of you!

Enjoy your Tuesday. :hug2:

Hi Stacy

Thanks for popping by. :hug2: I really appreciate it. :hug2:

I am sorry that your hubby is not feeling too good either.

Hubby is feeling sorry for himself. All sniffly. And whenever he is not well - his gout plays up too. It tends to be a bit like that when people have a weakness.

And he keeps kicking me off the PC so he can play his games. When he is off I only get on the PC when he wants to watch television.

Hubby has tons of vitamins every day - loads more than I have.

I still have the same weight as Saturday (to the ounce) so I am trying to hurry it along a bit so we are having salmon tonight. If I dont get some weight loss soon I will drop points for the challenge this week. I got all my exercise points by end of Sunday.

I hope that you have a good day today.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Sorry hubby is still feeling bad. At least he is continuing his improved eating. My H is a horrible patient. He gets very grumpy when sick and is a bear about taking medicine.

It's too bad you can't exercise for the both of you--you really did a great job today!

When I saw that you were on the Walkin' to a Winter Onederland team, I thought it was very fitting--I was hoping you'd be on that team. :D

Hi

I love reading your daily posts with excerise i just sit and think WOW way to go Your def someone i admire with your whole attitude and positive way of thinking

Sarah

Thanks for visiting me and supporting me again. It is always so lovely to hear from you.

I am still managing to avoid my husband's nasty germs - which is a bit of a miracle as we are useless at keeping our distance from each other and normally guarantee to pass germs from one to another - which tends to form a bit of a loop. We reinfect each other too and keep germs in our house for ages. All I can say is thank goodness for echinacea - I have been taking it and I am sure that it is helping.

He is still off work sick - but seems to be improving. I think that he will go back to work Friday.

Thankfully he is still being pretty good with his food. I am sure that if I counted up his calories it would be a level that would be permitted for a man of his weight.

Kim

Thanks for wishing my team "good luck" in the challenge.
I would like to wish your team "good luck" too.

In actual fact I think that I am not as competitive as maybe I should be. My favourite situation would be if everyone on all the teams picked up all the points. I would be really happy if everyone was joint winners.

Tammy

How annoying that you and your kids may have been infected by that little boy. Some people are really irresponsible. You have had enough illness in your household already without another illness coming and going through you all.

We are pretty much tied in weight Tammy - but you are still thinner than me. If you check your BMI you are still ahead of me - so I think you are a little taller than my 5 ft 3 ins.

Kimberly

The "Walkin' to a Winter Onederland" team name is indeed an appropriate one for someone that does my level of walking. And Onederland is really a good place to be for someone that weighed as much as I did for so long. It seems funny when you consider that I am still officially "obese" - but I really feel quite skinny some of the time. I keep feeling my side in disbelief and do a double-take whenever I see my reflection in a window. I certainly have walked my way to Onederland if anyone ever has.

Sarah

You are so sweet. Please remember that I can only do the amount of exercise that I do because I have effectively turned it into the equivalent of a full time job. I could not do anything like what I do if I was going out to work. Also, as a PCOS lady, experience has taught me that I have to work extra hard to get the kind of weight loss that I want. Most people will lose weight very successfully without doing anything like the amount of exercise that I do.

Thanks once again everyone for all your love and support.

Take care
Love
Margaret
