into the bright sun just to freeze my booty off it is "41"degrees
out so a t-shirt walk isn't going to happened I need my comfy
"KORN" hoodie!

I'm SUPER proud of myself today, I powerwalked 4 miles today, at 15 minutes per mile! I felt so good afterwards, and then I had to pick my daughter up, rush home and shower and get her to cheerleading practice. Then I realized I needed to run down to the New Balance store and get her a pair of shoes. When I got back to pick her up I had to wait for a few minutes so I sat down. :eek: OUCHY! I hurt! It's not my legs, it's the sides of my buttocks...if that makes any sense. I suspect that my thighs will be hurting in the morning because they feel like lead right now.

At any rate, I'm really proud of myself. I walked those 4 miles as fast as I could! I left work early to go for my walk because I knew I had so much to do but once I got the first 2 done so quickly I just kept going. :D I think I'm going to sleep quite well tonight.

Now my food on the other hand sucks!

Breakfast:
1 1/4 cup of All Bran yogurt bites cereal
1 cup low fat milk
water

Lunch:
3 cups of romaine lettuce
2 oz feta cheese (reduced fat, Athenos)
1/4 cup of blueberries
10 sprays of Balsamic Breeze salad spritzer
1 bag of grapes
water

Snack
1 large peach

Dinner:
1 large peach
water


:eek: I know, but I'm just too tired to eat anything else
I had this wonderful menu inputted at Sparkpeople with hummus and broccoli and carrots, and some grilled chicken, etc for dinner. Not gonna happen...me tired, very, very tired. :(
 
WOW! That really was an awesome day nutritionally and cardio wise. It's time for an OHAPPY Dance Day for doing so well:D .

A word on the sore thing, still work out tomorrow so the muscles don't tighten up too much, but just do it a little lighter. Then longer you wait for the soreness to go away by doing nothing, the less your work benefitted you today. Like I said, don't go all out, but make sure you're movin' in some way tomorrow... Just my humble opinion from past experiences.
 
Hi there! Thanks for coming by and the advice...I'll take you up on that. A little soreness never kept me down! I've got 2.5 more pounds to kick to the curb! :) Hopefully at least one of them was dumped at the lake today! :p (that's where I walk)
 
Wowwie! Damn girl that was a great walk!! Congrats!! And at least the calories came under and not horribley over right? Sleep well!! :D:D

Congrats on that 1 heck of a walk!
It does feel like it works alot of your body parts, for
me downhill hips and tops of legs trying to keep balance
uphill calves, tummy arms! I love it when it is warm today
was so chilly, it seems like after I had my son I have trouble]
keeping warm and I am more cold alot! Well have a Fantastic
Friday try to get ya a few more calories tomorrow ;) :D

Oh wow, just plugged my pound of strawberries into sparkpeople and found out its only 136 calories! Can you believe, I totally thought I had blown it! I'm relieved and don't feel quite as gluttonous now. *sigh*

I have even better news, those strawberries are catabolic so you lost calories. You ingested 136 cals but burnt double that processing them.

Again, I swear by catabolic foods for maximum weight loss and still eating lotsa food !!

OHD u were planning on grilled chicken? what do u put for seasoning? thinking of doing it over the weekend. i havn't been using my oven much.

great job on the powerwalk! but take care of yr legs too! hv a good rest!:)
