OMG chocolate. If there is any in my house the kids manage to get to it before I do. Still on a good day I want to go into one of those expensive uppity chocolate places and get something that has the most coco content and chase it with an ice cold glass of milk...... sorry didn't mean to drool all over your diary lol.....
 
LOL Hey HB! Now I've got to break out my mop! :D I wish I were as lucky as you, my daughter must be the only kid in America that's not a chocolate freak! She'll eat it every now and then but she prefers the candy, candy...you know the stuff that's sweet enough to make all or your teeth fall out at once? :rolleyes: So if I have chocolate, 8.5 times out of 10 she's not interested.
 
LOL.... my kids look at chocolate like the only food group I never told them about. ah to be young and no nothing about calories in junk food.....
 
I know exactly how they feel! Chocolate USED to be a food group for me, now...it's only a fond memory, well it's sometimes a comforting shoulder...but I'm working on that!
 
Thanks reach4AStar, I'll post my food for the weekend tomorrow when I get to work...I'm sure I'll have enough down time to play around here, as ususal! :eek: The thunder is rolling out so I'd better get off of this computer now and turn it off. Okay, today's menu:

Breakfast:
1 bowl of All Bran Cereal with Silk
1 Banana
water

Mid morning snack
1 baggie of red seedless grapes
water

Lunch:
Turkey sandwich on whole wheat
w/jalapenos and spicy brown mustard
1 apple
water

Mid Afternoon Snack:
4 sticks of celery
w/low fat chunky peanut butter
water

Dinner:

I know, I know...

I said last night that I was going to post my weekend menu today but it now seems like too much to do. :eek: Yea, I know I'm lazy, what can I say? Alright already, you twisted my arm!

Saturday:
Whole wheat English muffin - toasted
w/ grilled chicken (diced)
scrambled egg whites
-very yummy breakfast sandwich that both, my daughter and I enjoyed. Thanks for remindiing me Diva Mommy!

No mid morning snack :eek:

Lunch
Chicken nuggests from McDonalds
Diet Coke
(I know, I know)

No Mid afternoon snack :eek:

Dinner:
Peanut Butter sandwich (low fat chunky) on whole wheat
1 banana

While this doesn't look great :eek: , I DID get in a lot of cardio on Saturday. I was out shopping ALL day, so I got in lots of walking to combat the chocolate binge I had the night before.

Sunday

Breakfast:
1 large peach
1/2 an apple
water

Mid morning snack
approx. 1/2 cup of raisins

Lunch:
Spicy Black Bean veggie burger
with spicy brown mustard and jalapeno peppers
water

Mid afternoon snack
1 apple

Dinner:
1/2 of a Roasted Turkey & Basil Pesto Frescatta sandwich from Wendy's
1 large peach
Diet Green Tea with Berries

Ate my dinner as my daughter and I watched the NC Symphony in the park. The show was great and the fire works were better than the 4th of July show this summer! GREAT evening.

Here's Monday

Breakfast

Mid Morning Snack
1 peach

Lunch
Black Bean Veggie chili
water

Mid afternoon snack
celery and low fat crunchy peanut butter
water

Dinner:
Baked chicken tenderloins
steamed veggies (broccoli and carrots) seasoned with garlic
water
 
mmmm...you're menu sounds delicious! I have yet to try peanut butter with my celery, usually I use cheese whiz:D which isn't very good.
 
They make me hungry... I try to skim through what people eat so that that doesn't happen but most of the time I read it... I want it... I'm hungry. HAHA.
 
I know the feeling all too well. You and that turkey had me feening for fried turkey! Mal and Manaloa have some menus that make me drool on my keyboard!
 
Me too!! I try not to read Manaloa's unless I have a full stomach! haha. Sorry about the turkey! ;) At least you only had to read about it... I MADE it and there was nothing left. So, I didn't even get to taste it!!
