Since wishes has tagged me, here are my 5 factoids! :D

1. I was born on Halloween.
2. I got suspended from highschool for three days during my senior year of high school for getting drunk on school property. (football game...first time I had ever drank hard liquor, peer pressure is a b*tch).
3. I gave birth to my daughter (at age 25) during the last year of my graduate school program and blew my savings account on childcare/clothes, etc for her because her dad decided he wasn't ready to become a father...and I've been trying to catch up ever since.
4. I don't have a relationship with my mother because she passively disowned me when I got pregnant ( at 25 mind you!!) and chooses to treat my child like a wicked step child and my brother's daughter like a princess.
5. I almost flunked out of college my senior year. I went home for Christmas break and on day 2 I woke up to find my dad moving all of his things out of the house. Said he didn't love my mother anymore and left us all. I went back to college and drank for a solid month, refusing to get out of bed. Thankfully I had some great friends and professors who really cared about me, got me back into my classes and encouraged me to get my GPA back.

When life serves you lemons, make lemonade! :) I attribute my strength to my faith, otherwise I would've broken YEARS ago. You can't pick your family, ya know? But I can pick my friends and I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH, I sincerely do! I wish we lived near each other so I could visit and get to know your kids and such. It would be the greatest thing ever!

I worte you a big nice reply and it wouldnt let me post it, aaarrrggg, I hate that...anyway the whole number 3 thing I got a good laugh and i totally hear ya there...I was 16 with my first and then along came the second at 26...now we could have afforded her together on two incomes...just mine is a little hard, ever since i have had her, it has been pretty touch financially, if it werent for Granny we would be on welfare or on the streets...

So were you and your X ever married ? Like was he a part of you gals life or did he just f off ???

Ok well I think that is all I can remeber for now...I have a bit of time and I am feeling a bit better, sooo I am assuming I can get the questions from you...I will look and see and then answer them , I think I have the time frame now...

I can totally relate to you and all you have been through, I have been through alot of all...I have picked myself up and dusted myself off way to many times to count...sometimes it takes longer to get back up but oyu just gotta roll with your punches...I liek you alot Ohappy...I think it is because you are a very solid person...

LOL, Post in your thread who you have tagged so they see it when they read it. It wouldn't hurt to post a "you're tagged" and a little statement about the game wishes created.

As for the ex, we were together for 6 years, dated through the end of our college experience and through my grad experience and a year after our daughter was born. He said I was the best thing that ever happened to him and asked if I'd spend the rest of my life with him, two months later we found out I was pregnant and he completely changed. I dealt with it for a year because I wanted to give my baby a traditional family like I had growing up...but we know how that panned out.
