I've always wanted to try kickboxing! Seems like it would be so much fun! I used to vent my stress by playing drums. Nothing quite like banging something around. lol

Chicky, Im so excited, my measurements from Curves ROCKED...in teh past 3 weeks I have lost 13 inches over all...5.5 from my waist....They were baffled and said it was un-normal I was non to impressed, I talked to the mananger and explained to her how I have been and what I have ben doing and she was impressed!!! She also told me that I looked alot thinner Take care of yourself !!!

Thanks for coming by, Y'all know how my Fridays are, CRAZY!!! And then I had my second tennis lesson on Friday! BOOOOY did he ever work me. He had me running all over the place, but it felt really good. He said I did great and was rather impressed with my progress...so was I! My backhand is pretty darn good if I must say so myself, but my forehand needs some work. I was sweaty and TIRED to say the least when my hour was up, but it felt INCREDIBLE! I came home showered and CRASHED!
Can't wait for my kickboxing class. I'm going to go up to the Y in just a little bit to get the tour, join and sign up for the class! I'm so excited! I'm figuring it will help loads with stress and with my legs. I'd like to have them be more firm and I'm working on decreasing my body fat. 17% is my goal.

I am SOO pissed right now!
I just got back from my local YMCA and I have to say that I am so very upset and hurt right now! I was so excited and looking forward to joining. I went right in, asked for the app and then paid all my money. THEN I asked for my tour and was asking how to sign my daughter up for child care during my kickboxing class when the chick informs me that child care is only for kids through 5 years of age!!! WTF is that about! But then she tells me, "oh no she can't accompany you in the gym b/c she's a child and she needs supervision in any other places inside the Y if she's not with you." DUH!!! So why is child care ONLY for kids through 5 years of age. The Y is supposed to be for everyone, why then are you penalized for having kids older than 5?! "Well, ma'am she can sign up for our basketball league or swim team." Ok, problem 1 she hates basketball, problem 2 she doesn't want to swim and problem 3 NEITHER of those activities coincides with the Yoga, pilates OR kickboxing classes!!!!

I'm ashamed to say that in my despair, I turned to food. I stopped at the first gas station and got a bottle of water and a bag of Funyuns. I feel horrible about it, but I'm so very upset, disappointed and angry about this. The Y is a family/community place, this just makes no sense to me.
