salsa on chicken is divine... not that i wanna be a nudge or anything - but are you going to experience a new food item soon - or are you going to talk about salsa for 3 more pages.. not that there's anyhting wrong with that - i don't think you need a salsa intervention... yet...

--Do you feel Guilty about your actions when you eat salsa?

--Have you ever taken salsa to calm you down or get you going in the morning?

Did my powerwalk today, we did an extra lap for a grand total of 2.4 miles. We're working our way up to 4 miles each Tuesday and Thursday....:eek: Maybe one day I'll be able to hang with M2M! :D

Why would you ever want to run out of salsa!!!??? I want to eat dinner at your house... :( Oh well, it's probably over.

Hey, way to go with the increased walking - you are gaining on M2M!! But, I don't know if you will overtake her! She is a WALKING MACHINE - sore shins and all! On a side note, have you ever noticed that if you replaced the 2 with an & then M2M would be M&M. Hmmmmmm :rolleyes: - Stop looking at her avatar that way! JK!! ROTFLOL!!! :D

HF & T2 - you all are welcome to dinner anytime, only we can't discuss menu items on here or I might cause another uproar. LOL

Diva - LOL ok, ok...no more "S" word. I think there's talk of banning me if I say it once more so I'm refraining. :p As for the walking, I couldn't keep up with M2M if I tried. But now thanks to you, every time I see her screen name I'll be salivating as I think about M&M's! :p :p

M2M - If I'm gonna walk with you, I'd better get on board while you're on the injured list otherwise I'll be lost in the dust! :D :D
 
Ok...I've had a Spark People membership since before I joined here but never really did anything with it except enjoy the e-newsletters. Well, I've finally decided to use it to count my calories...I used to do it myself reading the back of containers and looking stuff up, but this is much easier...though it does take a little time to scan through the list, but it's not too bad of a task. At any rate, I'll be posting that in a little bit...I'm having some trouble with being able to cut and paste right now. :rolleyes: So I'll be back with that info in a bit.

Yoplait Yogurt Light Fat-Free - Peach (6 0z)
Small Banana

Mid Morning Snack:

Grapes, 3 cup, seedless

Lunch:
Water, bottled
Tyson boneless, skinless chicken breast, 4 oz
Uncle Ben's Instant Whole Grain Brown Rice
Salsa

Mid afternoon snack
bag of seedless grapes
water

Dinner:

Calories 889
Carbs 183
Fats 5
Proteins 36

This is not a complete day, because dinner isn't factored in yet. But it looks like I need to balance my foods out more, or maybe dinner will make the difference.

I have brought 90.7 ounces of water with me to work today and I plan to drink it all.


*Never did get that cut and paste thing completely working, so I just typed in my menu and cut and pasted the calorie/carb/fat/protein count*




Edit: I can't get my stupid chart to line up right, so I cut out the "goal" info because it's annoying the *$%$ out of me! What am I doing wrong?! UGH!!

Anyhow, I love that Sparkpeople website. I am also going to start my calorie count on there today as well. I use to but got lazy!!!!:( But YAY!!!! For you. Have a Great DAy and drink that WATER:D

Good for you for inputting info into sparkpeople again - I go in spurts, but really should do it. There's something about *writing* it down that makes me more aware and keeps me on track better.

You're right, I'm always surprised when I see the actual numbers. I'm going to try to keep it up. I used to be really good about it, then I got to thinking I could "eye ball" it. It's nice to have a checks and balance system.
 
I'm very proud of myself...just finished up the last of my water for a grand total of 90.7 ounces drank today.

The goal, as usual, is to get in as much as possible before roughly 4:00 (which is when I leave for the day). I'm pleased that I was able to get it all in....but now I don't have anything to drink for the next couple hours. I can buy another bottle once I get to Curves at 4...but I've been so thirsty today and there's only sodas in the machine and I don't want one of those.

:rolleyes: ...better bring more tomorrow. :eek:
