Now or never

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm back.

Post festival season and weight is 134 which I'm pretty pleased about because I have hardly done any exercise and eating lots of bad things but only put a little bit of weight back on. Makes me more confident about being able to maintain a goal weight when I get there.

Actually ran to catch up with some people at the last festival and said to my friend that there was no way I would have done that the year before. It was muddy though so I nearly slipped, that would have been embarrassing!

This week I'm going to just do exercise DVD indoors I think. All the school kids go back to school this week and next week so next week I will be able to brave the park again to start running.

Oh and we have new uniform at work and even though I ordered tops 2 sizes smaller than my current ones (from when I was 2 stone heavier) I still had to send them back and go for another size down. Lots of people's sizes were wrong so I actually ended up swapping with another girl who had to go up a size and she actually said to me "how come that size doesn't fit me but fits you?!" which I thought was pretty nasty but I just felt smug about being slimmer than her hahaha!

Just reposting my goals so I don't have to keep going looking for them. I quite like timed goals to make me push a bit harder and keep focused so decided to set one of the goals for Christmas. Toyed with the 8 1/2 stone one but think that might be pushing it a bit now weight loss has slowed down and I might get a bit annoyed and give up so going to go for 9 stone by christmas. I get to buy a new dress for the work's christmas party in November too so would be nice if my bum could shrink into the next size down by then too.

I'm back! (sort of).
I've finished doing my second role at work so back to doing my normal work hours and getting enough time off for sleep and exercise. The problem is that it's freezing outside so I don't really want to go for a run in the sleet and snow and ice so I haven't done anything yet. Had last week as a rest week between working to much and starting exercising again but with the weather this week it's turning into a fortnight. I also have to go and do some extra hours on Monday as a one off. I think on Friday I'm going to do my exercise dvd (not done any exercise at all since october so could be fun) to build my stamina up a bit again and ease myself back into it and hopefully the weather will pick up next week so I can start running again.

Boyfriend also took up running as his new years resolution. So far he has been once so it's not looking likely that he's going to be a source of encouragement for my running!

Welcome back JB!

I say go run and pull him along with you. Running has changed my life and it isn't nearly as cold out when you're running. Obviously don't do anything unsafe and you should ease back into whatever you do, but it would be awesome to have another runner around! Of course I'm spoiled with an indoor track, but I still run outside in the cold and dark regularly.

Either way I'm glad to see you around!

I've been reading a book series and I get really into books so I kept choosing the books over exercise. But now I've finished the books so can get back into exercise! I have 2 pairs of shorts that are both slightly too small for me (bought them with weight loss in mind) and I want to be able to fit in them comfortably this summer.

Also had a bit of a mini heart attack this morning when I got on the scales, completely forgot what I weighed last time and thought I'd put on loads! Turns out I'm only 4 pound heavier than my lightest back in september and that's with pretty bad eating and next to no exercise so I guess that's alright. Just been for a run and hoping to do some more exercise this afternoon after I've had some food.

Right, I'm starting a new routine! I don't sleep very well, wake up lots and I also dream loads which isn't very restful. I often find it difficult to get to sleep too so I originally intended to start a night time routine where I'd get ready for bed at the same time every night. But I'm getting up at all sorts of different times because I start work at different times on different days, so I've decided to start getting up at 6.30am every day. This is the time I get up on my earliest work days anyway and on my later work days would give me an extra 2 hours in the morning, so time for exercise and a shower. On my days off it would also give me a much longer day to get things done. The only exception to this wake up time is going to be sundays so I can get a lie in if I need it.

I decided to give this a try last night and set my alarm for 6.30 this morning, being one of my days off. I woke up, turned it off and went back to sleep until 7. While it doesn't seem like a great start it still means I woke up at 7 rather than say 10 so it seems pretty good to me! Once I work out what sort of time this will have me wanting to go to sleep at then I can start a bedtime routine too.

Finished the Couch to 5K app! Not sure what to do next, whether to free run, do C210K or go back to the start of C25k and up my speed and stamina by doing jog/run instead of walk/jog.
