Nothing To Loose - That is the goal

Have you had any WATER Yet???!! LOl!!! don't forget it today cuase then you'll feellike you did yesterday:( It's good to hear that you won't let one bad day determine the rest of the week... Well, Have a WONDERFUL Day !!!!! Drink that WATER:D

JB, thanks for the water reminder! I've had 0.5 glass this morning, and now I'm on the 2nd cup of coffee, but I have another glass of water sitting on my desk, so I can drink it as soon as I'm done with coffee! :)

I did pretty good with water last night because I made myself drink 2 big glasses of water before going to bed! But need to have consistancy, right?

Once again I cannot contain my curiosity any longer and since I've been reading your diary I keep seeing this bowflex thing pop up! What exactly is that as it's not something I've heard of. Well done for not letting one day get you down, we all have days like that eh. I agree with JB though so get that water down your neck!:D

Love the way you keep coming back from those unmotivated days. You are doing so well! Keep drinking your water. And it's great that when you went to lunch with hubby you kept an eye on things instead of letting yourself go out of control. Always a danger for me! Well worth congratulating yourself!

thanks ntl. yes, you are totally right. i am so happy that you are enjoying the bowflex - it totally makes it so much easier to get the exercising done. the most important part is not making it a chore but something you enjoy so congrats on finding something!! :)

Crunchie - Bowflex is just one of those "total body workout home gym" machines that are sold here in US. you can go to www.bowflex.com to see more if you're interested. My hubby did the dieting thing with me, without any working out, and he lost muscle as well as fat, so now he wants to bring some of that muscle back. And I needed some kind of resistance training thing as well, so we decided to get it. It was about the same price as a gym membership for a year for both of us, and since we don't like going to the gym, we decided to get this thing.

Just wanted to thank you all for posting in my diary - Thanks for your support!!!

As to my weekend... Bad - no weights the whole weekend. Ate big meals for dinner Sat and Sun. Good - Saturday helped out at a horse show and did a lot of jogging up and down hill. Sunday did landscaping and gardening for half a day. Monday - my legs are so sore!!!!! I will try to do upper body workout today, as my legs need to recover. There's still some gardening left to do.

Tuesday - will possibly go ride in a very low key horse show, if my legs recover enough.

I was so exhausted Sat and Sun evenings, that I could not stop myself from pigging out. I just hope that I burned enough calories both days to cover those big meals. I will shoot for eating moderately for this week.

That will be a goal for the week, to eat within your calories for a whole week and then treat your self to something sepcial... Like a 2 liter bottle of WATER;) LOL!!!!! have a WONDERFUL day and don't forget your WATER today.. Drink 3 glasses of water before your coffe:p

Sounds good, JB! Trying to get in 3 glasses before my coffee is a bit too much, but I did manage to get in one!

Was in a meeting for almost 1.5 hrs and missed my lunch time and was not able to drink anything, so I'm making up now!

Ah yes now I see, I don't have much money to spend on equipment but then I'm not overly fussed about going to the gym. My employer is actually my local council and they do this scheme where you can pay £5 and get discounts on gym membership and to things like the swimming pool etc. With my healthy lifestyle card I get my monthly gym membership for £21 which is about $37 I think. Sorry for going off on a tangent again, I really must learn to control my typing fingers!

No problem, Crunchie. Yeah, typical gym membership in the US is about $40, so its pretty comparable. Its cool that you can get discounts.

Somehow I'm drawing blank on what to write today. Yesterday we finished our garden, finally, and today after work I'm resting, because I'm really tired and still a bit sore. Sticking with the moderate food for this week, so far so good I guess.

Be a bit like me after my climb last week, couldn't exercise properly for days! Have a good rest and I'm sure you'll bounce back in no time!

Thanks, Crunchie!

Yesterday I went through a big time-warp when I got home after work, and did not get to my exercise in time, but today I am determined to get back!!!

Work was crazy today, so did not get to forum until I was back home.
Looking forward to some rest and distractions.

We all get days like that unfortunately but hey at least they make the day go quicker eh! Hope you have a lovely day tommorrow and manage to do some more exercise!

Yeah, I did exercise last night and it felt great! Work is still pretty crazy today. Hoping for better tomorrow, though!

Tonight will be riding, so I should be good on exercise.

Well, I'm doing good today. Planning on exercising later. Ride yesterday went well. There was a bird that was insisting of laying her egg in the riding ring, and everytime my hourse and I approached near it, it would fluff its feathers and give a cute warning noise(it was protecting its egg). I would not mind the bird at all, except that I could just see it flying away right from under hoofs, scaring my horse, and me ending up on the ground. So I tried to avoid it, and ride on the other side of the ring.

Still busy today, but at least not as bad as yesterday.

This week is promising to be as busy as the last one. Its kind of bad timing, because I need right now more support of this forum, not less. I'm not doing as well as I would like, mainly because I've been kind of bad with food and not watching calories at all, and being almost reckless. I had several very exhausting weekends in a row, and unfortunately the way i battled it was with food. But no more! I need to bring back awareness of calories I consume, so that I can have a full knowledge of how I'm doing.

Hey NTL, sorry about all the stress for you! I understand how that can alter eating habits. You are only a little bit away from your goal...I know you can do it!

STAY POSITIVE!!!!! Keep your head up and your legs moving. you had some set backs, but now you could get BACK ON TRACK and stay focus.. Have a Great Day and drink your WATER:D
