Dannng! You're stillll doing amazing :) I've been slackin a little on reading diaries lately, so its nice to pop in now and again and still see so much motivation and oomph. Love it.

Thanks for all the kind words ladies. I am going to step up the cardio, because I really want to be under 200 by Sunday weigh in lol. Been bogged down all day finishing up my 3rd graders science project with him, but will hop on the treadmill tonight. Great yummy food today lol.

Breakfast: Special K Chocolate drizzle bar 90 calories
Lunch: One serving of shrimp and lobster raviolis 500 calories
Dinner: Scallops, boiled garlic herb shrimp, one 3oz. stuffed scallop from Publix and 1 serving rice with 1 tbl. garlic butter

Total for the day is 1263 calories. No snacks today, but lots of yummy food so it is worth the sacrifice. Can you tell I was in the mood for seafood today?

Okay, I know I have been a bad bad girl and have not updated in a week and I am sorry. I promise I am still on the wagon and have not slipped one little bit. This last week has just been really busy and trying. I think my new diet has upset my monthly visitor, because he decided to come really early, which makes twice this month actually. TMI I know lol, but it explains why my weight fluctuated so much in the last 7 days.

Last time we talked I had bought a new scale. Well after an up down week the scale finally landed on 201.5 on my last official weigh in which was Sunday. That made me sad because I really wanted to be under 200. I think a lot of it was bloating though, because the scale has been much lower the last few days. I am crossing my fingers, but have very high hopes for Sunday. I have not had one cheat day and continue to stay on track calorie wise. I am deathly afraid to hurt my knee again, so it has been hard for me to get excited about exercise again, but I am trying.

Breakfast: 1/4 cup cashews 160 calories
Lunch: Egg white omlette with onions and peppers and a tad of cheddar cheese. Two slices of turkey bacon and two slices of toast no butter and thin scraping of grape jelly.
Dinner: 4 oz. turkey roast with 2 tbsp. gravy, 3/4 cup country crock mashed potatoes and 1 1/2 cup steamed green peas.

Snack: 1/2 package of jello fat free cook and serve chocolate pudding

Total: 1227 calories

Ahhhhh! I just realized I am not obese anymore!!!!! I am only overweight now lol.

I was up late last night and did not get much sleep. Our cat finally decided to have her kittens. There are now five new bundles of fluff to love.

I didn't realize when I bought the turkey roast that it took nearly 2 hours to cook, so needless to say that when I pulled it out of the fridge at 5:30 last night I put it right back in lol. So last night's dinner is not what was listed above, it was 1 6 oz. chicken breast with 1/2 cup of gnocchi and 1/8 cup of Ragu parm sauce. That made the calories a little lower at 1,117 for the day.

I plan to kick myself into gear and finally climb back on the treadmill today. While my eating has been going perfectly, I have not made the gains I wanted to with my exercise, so feel free to give me a swift kick in the butt if you are so inclined. I really need to do better.

Today's food:

Breakfast: 1 packet of Kashi oatmeal 160 calories
Lunch: 1 cup Ronzoni Smart Taste Penne 180 calories, 1/8 cup Ragu parm sauce 55 calories, Barber Parmesean chicken breast 250 calories.
Dinner: 8 mini bacon and potato frittatas 236 calories

Snacks: Ritz crackerfuls, 1/2 package of fat free cook and serve pudding.

Total: 1151 calories

Yea! Grats on being "overweight"! Lol, that sounds so weird, but I know what you mean. I'm still a little ways away from there, but I can't wait. Good job on sticking with the eating too, that's the biggest part. Do try to get some exercise when you can though, to keep your lean muscle. Most weight lifting is low impact, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about the knee if it is healed.

You'll be under 200 in no time!

Good job with the food!!! Ok I will make a deal with you I will give you the kick in the butt if you give me one in return haha!!! I have been majorly slacking on the workout myself too!!!!! A fresh new month is comming we got to do great!

Thank-you so much for the support, it means a lot. I have been working out over the last few days and so far the knee has held up well.

I am slowly getting back into the swing of things as far as exercise goes and I know it will be routine in no time for both of us lol.

So first the really really big news!!! I am under 200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As of my weigh in day on Sunday, I was 199.8 and I have not gone back up again, so I am officially in the 100's to stay! I also joined a local women's fitness group that will be doing a 6 week challenge starting next week. We will be meeting at various different gyms and work out places around town and it is only $5 a week which goes into a pool and is given to the weight loss winner each week. I am sure this will help motivate me to exercise on a regular basis.

I did have a treat today, but I worked it into my daily calorie allowance, so it was not a cheat.

Breakfast: 1 cup Jumbo Crispies and 1/2 cup fat free milk 135 calories
Lunch: 1 cup uncle bens rice and leftover crockpot chicken 422 calories
Dinner: 2 cabbage rolls with 1 cup extra cabbage 376 calories

Snack: McDonald's Ice cream hot fudge sundae 340 calories. My youngest had lunch here and I had planned ahead to work a Sundae into my daily meal plan.

Congrats on getting out of the 200's! You deserved to treat yourself for all the hard work so far. Keep it up :)

Good job!!! Congrats on being into the 100's!!!! You have made amazing progress since comming this site!!!! Keep up the good work!

Thank all of you lovely ladies so much! All three of you have been such a great inspiration to me along with so many others on this site. I have learned a lot since being here and everyone on the site as well as keeping this diary have helped me get this far. I am almost half way to my initial goal weight, although I may change it once I get there lol and I feel great.

Thought I would post a new picture of myself that I took today, as the last one was about a month ago. I am posting the new one and the one from a month back to see if anyone can notice a difference. There probably isn't too much of one lol.

The first meeting of the ladies fitness challenge group I joined is on Thursday and another workout is on Saturday, so looks like I will have no excuses as for not exercising. Have a great day all and thank-you for all of your motivation and encouragement.

Breakfast: 90 calorie Special K bar
Lunch: 2 left over cabbage rolls from last night 376 calories.
Dinner: 1 catfish nugget, 1 cup chicken and dumplings, 4 oz. green beans, 1/2 cup cheese grits, 1 dinner roll.

Calories for the day are at 1149, but I will likely have a 100 calorie snack later so will end at 1249.

The first picture is from a month ago and the second is from today.

Sure, I would be happy to keep you company for awhile. We can see if we can get to the 180's together lol. Thanks for the well wishes and encouragement.

Sorry I have been slacking on my diary all, but I have been staying on track. Things have been super stressful and busy around here, but I have managed to hold it together and have never once gone over my calorie allowance for the day.

I did have a minor issue about a week ago. The program I use to count my calories said that I could have 1470 calories in order to create a deficit that would allow me to lose 3 pounds a week. Somewhere along the line though, I began to think that if I went over 1200 calories a day I was cheating so I would never go over that. This lead to me being really tired all the time and not having the energy to even keep up with my daily schedule let alone exercise.

Since then, I have allowed myself to eat up to the allotted amount of calories if needed and things have been so much better. It took me a while to not feel like I was cheating, even though I was allowed to have that many calories. This change has also broken through a small plateau I had hit and the scale is once again on the move.

I weigh in at 196.6 now, which makes me more than half way to my original goal. I promise to try and do better at updating and getting caught up on all of your diaries.

Hey nice to see you here again. I was wondering where you where!!! Congrats on the lose! It's good that you where able to break you plateau!!!
You where also able to deal with stress and not go to food for confort so congrats on that!

That is awesome that you have gotten over that small plateau! And that is correct, you should have been eating more calories. 1,200 is the "lowest" that you are supposed to go, if you must, and anything under that can make your body go into "starvation mode" where it holds on to whatever you feed it which can stall your weight loss. Glad to see you are doing good still, keep it up!
