Haha thats pretty much how I felt last night Jes. Hope you're feeling better now, and you can alway retake classes if you didn't do well, so don't let it get to you
 
OMG I am sooo embarrassed :-X

Yeah guys. Man. I have 3 A's. It's probably been one of my best quarters in school but then my philosophy class? UGH totally killed me. I had a B- average but I honestly did just HORRIBLE on the final. UGH. I failed it SO bad.

I don't even drink but I was just SO down and so upset with myself. I came home after my last final and just drank with my roomies and stayed up until 1:30AM just talking.

Not a smart idea. I was awake by 3AM. I woke up and showered, packed, and started my drive home. Left San Diego around 4:00AM. Made it home by 8:30AM. I had to drop off my roomie in LA and another girl I knew from high school also goes to my college so I gave her a ride home too. It was nice to have company.

ANYWAY, yeah. I seriously do not drink. This was my first time drinking in about a year. But I was just so blah and disappointed in myself. I really do think I seriously just FAILED that class. The final is worth 50%. *sigh*

My eating was pretty horrible this week. But I'm not going to stress about it. I had finals. I tried my best and that's all that matters. On a more positive note, I still made it into the gym every day. Needless to say, I did not calorie count this week.

Time to catch up.

DAY 61 - 12/08/08

Dinner: Spaghetti with Prego sauce + 1/2 cup of broccoli + 1 tomato.
Snacks: 1 banana, 1 tangerine

- 240 crunches with 10lb weight
- 3 50-second planks
- 90 leg raises
- Weights: Seated row: 5x10 with 60lbs

Yeah, I'm taking 2 rest days this week. I'm sick. :( I was super hungover all day and then I have a sore throat and just feel warm. I don't think it's a good idea for me to go to the gym. Instead I am resting up and hopefully will be 100% ASAP.

OH YEAH, good news: I lost 9lbs this month. So I weighed in at 171lbs. :) Yeah, it wasn't the 10lbs I was aiming for but that is 9lbs I will never have to see again.

So many people are commenting on my weight loss. I never know what to say and it makes me slightly uncomfortable :-X

Okay yeah this is ridiculously long. Sorry. I'm just relaxing in bed, feeling guilty for not going to the gym :p Okay, I'll quit rambling. I am going to go catch up on everyone's journals! Thanks for the constant support!
 
I'm sure your score isn't as bad as you think! And if it is... hey, it's philosophy... what do those dumb asses know?? :D :D MEH, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Go girl with your 9 lb loss!!! Amazing! When people comment, just smile, your body says it all! WOrk it!

Sorry to hear about your final!! Oh no! Hopefully you did better than you think on it, and will pull a B still. I remember those days of cramming for exams. Not fun!

I am doing horribly. I am now at a total of 3 rest days this week. I am still battling a cold but I don't have a fever. Just stupid sneezing, runny nose, all that fun stuff. BUT I have no excuse for not getting in the gym today.

Today I got a speeding ticket. *sigh* Yeah, I just bawled for about half an hour after I got it. Just stayed pulled over and cried really loudly. Why me?! I am just not having a good month to be honest. I know a speeding ticket is not the end of the world but IDK. It's just bad time and the cop was a complete ass trying to get his stupid holiday quota. Fu*cking bastard!!! UGH. My mom was SO supportive and so nice. I came home and just cried to her. Yes, I'm a huge cry baby.

I was actually on my way to the gym but I was just so upset. I came home and spent time with my mom. We went shopping and it was just nice. I love her.

IDk. I'm not very happy with this month. School, tickets, and family. My mom, brother, and sister are all leaving for India on the 27th of this month. It's one of my cousin's wedding and they're going. I really, really want to go but I just cannot ask for the time off from work and my college starts back up on January 5th. We're on the quarter system so all our quarters are only 10 weeks long. They aren't coming back until January 28th. If I went with them, I would miss 4 weeks of the quarter, nearly half the quarter.

I have to drive back to San Diego on Thursday. These fews day at home just flew by. I have to work in San Diego. I don't think I'll be spending Christmas with my family. I just live too far away and I cannot ask for time off.

I'm just being a baby and I really need to suck it up. I need to start calorie counting again. I have a general idea about what I'm putting in but I need to get serious again. I'll start when I go back to SD on Thursday. At home I eat Indian food so I'm totally guessing on calories anyway.

Alright, I'm done whining and complaining. You guys are great. <3
 
Hey Jess, sorry to here about all the BLAH in your world. I received a "State Highway Patrol" Merry Christmas as well!! 82 in a 65. $114.00! Roll with the punches... times will turn around quick!

Hey Jes, no matter what I've always found that this turns out to be a stressful time of year, just keep on pushing and before you know it you'll be on track, [relatively] stress free and things will be going well for you.

I'm sure you've heard this but I'm jealous that you get to eat Indian food at home. I love Indian and middle eastern food; I've had some home cooked before and it was delicious but on a regular basis I think I'd turn in to a balloon.

Also, if you're that sick of the blue shirts heres one thing to keep in mind: we'll probably be getting rid of the ones we have now after new years, so keep your hopes up, maybe we'll finally get a new color.

I weighed in at 165lbs. I was 171lbs on December 9th. How did I lose 6lbs in like 8 days?!

CRAZY. It could because I have been sick and haven't been eating much. But IDK. Just crazy though. I've even missed the gym A LOT this week.

No gym today either. Went to the doctor finally and got some medication so hopefully I'm 100% SOON. I MISS THE GYM!

I miss my gym in San Diego. It's weird because it's not like I really know anyone there but by now I see all the "regulars" and they're just familiar faces. At the Bally's here in my hometown, I don't know anyone lol
 
are they the same scales you usually weight in on ? it can make a difference but 6 lbs is agreat loss :)

Hey there! So it looks like we have pretty similar goals! I started in october at 170ish and am trying to get to 130ish. I am also in college, just home for the holidays. Finals were quite the killer for the diet plan. I thought I would just stop in and stay hi! You are doing so awesome!

Great work!! You are doing awesome with the exercise! holy cow!! Good luck with the weight loss!
 
So I kind of fell off the wagon. :-/

I was sick all last week and it just blew donkey balls.

BUT I am NOT letting it get to me. This is a lifestyle change. I am going to get sick. It's life.

I took a few rest days (5 total, ouch) because I felt my body needed them. I didn't want to get into the gym so I could half-ass stuff and just make myself feel even more sick.

Up until today, my work-outs have been pretty weak. I know. I'm still recuperating. Also I'm working full time now that I'm on Christmas break. I am working 8 hour shifts. I am on my feet and walking around the ENTIRE time. I am not going to sweat not being able to work out for 2-3 hours. I usually just come home and walk after work and I'm happy with that. My legs/feet feel like they're about to fall off by the time I get home so I'm surprised and proud of myself for even getting into the gym.

Oh yeah, I started walking to and from work. We (employees) can't park in the mall during holidays. I live really close to work. It's like a 3 minute drive. I'm always running late so I always drive :p But now I'm walking. It takes like 15 minutes tops.

I need to start recording what I eat again. I feel like I'm slacking. I don't know though. I've just been doing this for so long, I know how many calories are in the food I consume so I just estimate. It's NOT exact but I know around how much I eat daily. I don't think I need to record, right? IDK. I just feel like I've been doing this for 3-4 months now, I just know how much and what I'm eating.

Okay, enough. I need to get to bed. Personal training again at 9AM tomorrow. I didn't go all last week so my trainer wants me to come in 3 days this week. Ouch.

You are doing amazing!! WOW 31lbs!!! Have you posted any pics yet?? I made a post explaining where I've been and all the details if you want to check it out.. it turned out kinda long.. lol.. but I'm back and ready to start again.. and I think your right about not recording what you eat you don't want to do that for the rest of your life and it is a lifestyle change.. when you add new foods I would.. but it seems like your doing awesome!!

What eating plan are you on? and what kind of foods do u eat I'm looking for new ideas bc I can't do weight watchers.. I explained why in my post on my journal.. anyways.. hope your doing great!!!
