Sooo yeah, I did some yoga yesterday with my roomie as my instructor. Lets just say I massively failed. I have like no flexibility or endurance (core strength) for that matter. Well I think if I had tried it before I ran the 6 miles I would have done a bit better :p Even though I sucked really bad at it, I felt really good afterwards!

I seriously had an AMAZING work-out today. I feel soooooooooooo good!

Oh yeah, my diet has cleaned up like wow. No idea where it came from but I'm happy! I've started downing green tea again too. Hopefully that helps my metabolism out a bit.

AND I'm drinking protein shakes again. Even though the stuff I have is nasty but I have to finish it b/c it cost me $35 ;x lol

Girl, you are doing SO AMAZING!! I love those work outs!!! You must look so different....almost 40 lbs down...is very different, but I do understand you when you say you still look the same :(....I have that same issue....eh!

...keep on working hard....you are inspiring me...;)!!!

Looking good jess, i see your weights are going up slowly, well done :)

good effort attempting the Yoga :)

Your workouts are intense!! Wow I don't see how you do it!! especially the stairmaster for 30 mins!! wow those things are hard to do!!! anyways keep doing what you do!!

I'm sorry to hear about your back :( I hope you feel better!! and I'm sure it won't hurt you to take a couple days off from exercising to get ur body feeling better!!

Alta - Thanks for your kind words. I really needed them after today. <3 I guess I do look different. One of my friends saw me after a few months and she freaked out. She could not get over how much weight I had lost. BUT I don't know what's wrong with me because I just see the same old me :x

Trusylver - I am slowly training up to your weight status ;) Yeahhh rightttttt. Actually, I think I'm dropping the weights :x I feel like I''m putting on muscle and I'm losing weight too slowly now. I KNOW muscle is better then fat but I just want to drop weight right now :-/

JZ & Amanda - Thanks you two :)

I took it really slow today. I don't want to hurt my back :x Last year I threw out my back. The worst pain I have EVER experienced. I was immobilized for a good 2 days. WELL, I came home from the gym the other day and I felt that feeling in my back, the same feeling I got last year right before I threw it out :x I was freaking out. I've been using these Icy Hot patches, taking Aleve ever 8 hours, and using a heating pad. I cannot go through that excruciating pain ever again.

Anywayyyy, greattt personal training session. I'm going to miss Jared when this is over.

Flawless eating today. I've been reallyyyyy happy with my eating as of late. 7g of fat the entire day?! Woooo go me! I aim for 1,200-1,500 calories every day. If I get hungry later, I'll probably have a tangerine or some kind of fruit.

I am increasing my running. I've really been slacking in that area. I'm setting the goal of 20 miles every week again.

GOALS FOR 01/18/09 - 01/24/09
- Run 20 miles total
- Drink 4 cups of green tea daily
- Eat at least 4-5 fruits daily

I know I had other goals but I'm blanking right now.

Okayyyy enough rambling :p Bye guys <3

Your workouts ALWAYS KICK BUTT, sooooooo I'll say GREAT job with the eating!!! Good to read, and I think you DO have it in ya to turn down pizza and doughnuts!!! ;) :) Have a great weekend Jess!! :)

Hey Jes.. if ur back still hurt I would suggest using ice instead of heat bc it really makes it worse in the end with heat.. do 20 min on and 20 min off with the ice.. Sorry the nurse in my trying to come out.. lol

Hope your back is feeling better soon! And I agree with everyone- your workouts always kick ass, totally jealous, lol. How much did your pt cost, if you don't mind my asking... I've been kinda thinking bout getting one, but I'm just not sure if I can afford it
have a good weekend jes!

Hey Jes, you're doing amazing, glad to see you're sticking with it and trying harder and harder as you progress. I think you're beating me in mileage right now; wish I could be going on 6 mile runs, way too cold for that right now :(

Hey! popping by to say helloooo! And to brag that I can now do at least 3 miles, heehee! Thanks for the inspiration!

I'm still alive. I am very horrible at keeping this journal. :x

My life is such a whirlwind right now. I'm taking 16 units, working part-time, working out, studying for LSATs, looking at law schools, midterms are this week, and of course friends/family.

Ay yi yi. I'm still on track though. I got a haircut to reward myself. I KNOW I said I would get one at the end but my hair was just so long. Also since I worked out every day, it was just such a hassle to take care of.

I went from long to super short.

The first 2 photos are the befores (obviously) and the last 2 photos are what it looks like now :) I LOVE IT.

Alrighty, back to studying :(

All I can say is WOW!!!! You look great!!! The extreme workouts are definately doing you justice!! Your hair looks great too!! Glad you are keeping at it with such a crazy hectic schedule!! You are KICKING BUTT!!! Great job!! :) :)
