Hi everyone!! sorry I wasn't in here yesterday :eek: The day just kind of got away from me and before I knew it I was in bed faling asleep and I hadn't posted in my own, or anyone else's diaries! Thanks for all of the support, everybody, I really love coming in here and seeing a bunch of posts cheering me on, it's what keeps me going. Well, here's a quick run through of yesterday. I got up late and ate lunch. I had a homemade chicken sandwich. A boneless skinless chicken breast on a hamburger bun with a little bit of fat free mayo and some lettuce, and some green beans on the side. About 360 calories altogether. Then I went shopping and all of a sudden it was dinner time. My parents were down visiting and they wanted to take us out to eat so we went out. I got....:eek: :eek: a big plate of fried clam strips, a baked potato with butter and sour cream, and a small bowl of "chicken pot pie" soup with two packages of crackers. When I got home I had a cookies, 120 calories and add up the 40 crystal light calories, the total of known calories was 520. So if dinner was around 1,000 calories I did ok, if not...well, can't change it now. And to top it all of I didn't exercise yesterday either.

Now, today was a different story, I haven't gotten enough calories today and I doubt I will by the end of the day because I'm not really hungry. It was a pretty good day. We got up and I ate a granola bar before church and when we came home my husband and I made brunch for us and my parents. We had bacon egg and cheese bagel sanwiches and fried potatoes. It was really good and I was sad when I got to my last bite. Then we talked to my parents and around 2:00 they left. (KDEL, they went to see the neighbor girl in the hospital so I'll have a report for you tomorrow :p) Around 3:00 my husband, me and Abby were very tired so we went and took a nap. Sometime during the nap Abby woke up and my husband grabbed her and ran out without me waking up and he let me sleep until 6:00! It was great! I think I really needed it. Anyway, now I'm awake, I ate a chocolate ship cookie but other than that I haven't eaten much. I'll probably be hungry in about a half hour and eat something then. If I do, I'll edit my menu on here tomorrow.

Well, here it is for today:

Breakfast: granola bar (100)

Lunch: breakfast sandwich (530) fried potatoes with ketchup (112)

snack: cookie (120)

Beverages: crystal light (40)

Total: 902 calories

Well, I should go post on everybody else's diaries now since I slacked off yesterday and then work out. Hey... I lost another pound! down to 143.5!
 
hi everyone1 Thanks so much for posting. I haven't been around much lately as I have been very busy. We're going to my hometown Tonight and will be back on Sunday night so I have been packing and cleaning. Also Abby has an ear infection and has been very fussy and wanting to nurse constantly for comfort. I will be back on here Monday:) have a good holiday everyone!

I hope the little miss feels better and I'm glad to hear she wants to nurse. When my daughter had an ear infection as a baby she wanted to but couldn't nurse b/c it hurt too bad...boooy were those some long days!!!
 
Hi everyone! Wow, it's been a while since I've been on here! Well, I've been doing alright. I have not weighed myself since before Thanksgiving. I plan on dieting and exercising for 2 weeks before I weigh myself again. Hopefully by then I will have recovered from Thanksgiving weekend. Anyway, the weekend went good, it was nice to see family and to be there for more than just a 2 day weekend. While we were in town we bought a Christmas tree and we set it up and put the lights on it today. I'm excited about Christmas this year. Since I have grown up I don't get very into it anymore but having a baby has rekindled the excitement. I want to buy her all kinds of toys and stuff. Anyway, I had a bit of an ego boost this weekend. I went clothes shopping for the first time after losing weight and found that I am down to a size 10 (express brand jeans) as opposed to the size 15 (Levi's) that I was before my pregnancy. I also slipped into Victoria's Secret (close your eyes gentlemen :p) and found that I had gone up from a 38 B to between a 36 D and a 34 DD (which they said are about the same size). You should have seen my face when the woman measured me. I said "WHAT?!" and my husband's eyes got all big. lol. So I'm a lot closer to the proportions that I wish I am, lol! Well that gives me the motivation to carry on with the plan! So today I was back on, full steam ahead. Here's what I had to eat today

Breakfast: Granola bar (100)

Snack: Rice Cake (50)

Lunch: Chicken flavored rice (520)

Snack: Cheez-its (260)

Dinner: Spaghetti (360)

Snack: Light popcorn (120)

Beverages: Flavored water
6 oz. Faygo Black cherry soda (90)

Total: 1500 calories. Hard for all that eating over the weekend, but I did it! See all of you tomorrow and I'll post in your diaries then too :)
 
Good for you!! That's so exciting!! I have barely went down a bra size but I know my time is coming. Hubbies pretty bummed with the idea!! LOL:D

well, I said I wasn't going to weigh myself for 2 weeks but I just couldn't help myself and this morning I hopped on the scale. I was 143.5 before Thanksgiving weekend and I expected to be at 146 when I weighed myself but I actually dropped a pound and weighed in at 142.5! I guess portion control really does work!! lol! I'm going to poston everybody's diaries now :)
 
lol, OHD, no just really busy. It seems like around this time of year I'm in a mad rush to get things done.
Today I had a doctor's appointment and my husband and I decorated our Christmas tree before I knew it it was time for out show "Criminal Minds" to come on and then we go to bed. I'm writing between commercials. lol. I may not be on here quite as much as I used to for the next month or so but I'll stop in and visit people's diaries at least a couple times a week and document my progress. But rest assured I'll keep up with the change and if I find myself slipping then I'll get my butt on here and beg for encouragement, lol. Anyway, Here's what I had to eat today. I didn't get up till late so it starts at lunch.

Lunch: little cheese pizza (360)

Snack: Cheez-its (260)

Dinner: Gorditas (760)

Snack: grapes (90)

Beverages 5 - 8 0z. glasses of Crystal light (25) 2 cans of Diet A&W

Total: 1495

Yay! :)
 
I don't know why, but for the past week I have just felt extrememly lazy. I don't want to do anything, cook, clean, and I was supposed to get my blood checked a week ago and still haven't gone to do it. Needless to say I haven't been exercising. At least I've been sticking to my diet because I haven't felt much like eating either. I don't know what's wrong with me but I need to snap out of it. Housework is pileing up and the doctor's going to call and yell at me if I don't get in there tomorrow. Also Abby is getting her 4 months shots tomorrow so I'm going to have to deal with a fussy baby all day. Anyway... Today I did good with calories, here's what I had:

Breakfast: granola bar (100)

Snack: Grapes (90)

Lunch: Gordita (460)

Snack: Cheez-it's (260)

Dinner: Chicken Alfredo (420)

Snack: popcorn (120)

Beverages: 8 - 8 oz. glasses of Crystal light (40)

Total: 1490 :)
