newmommy1's diary

Wheew! Good hubby you got there! And though it's hard to hear/accept now....all sorts of stuff will happen when they start walking! lol And you'll eventually handle it better...being a new mom is ROUGH! I remember the days of freaking out about EVERYTHING. Babies REALLY need to come with a manual of every possible scenario! :p *big hugs* You're a great mommy and lil missy will be just fine!

*drags self to the computer to post* Sorry for not posting on many diaries today, I feel like I'm coming down with a cold, I will tomorrow if I'm feeling better :) I did really good today. I have decided to cut down to 1500 calories since my milk supply is staying good. This is the first day of that and I stayed on track.

Breakfast: Granola bar (100)

Lunch: Gordita (460) and grapes (90)

Snack: cheez-its (130)

Dinner: Cheeseburger (540) and steamed broccoli (24)

Hi All! I'm feeling much better today, I think I'm just worn out. Everything's been going pretty well though.
***be_gone_soon, it does help to get some stuff off my chest in this diary. I'm a stay at home mom in a town where I know no one except for my husband and baby so I don't get to talk to people a lot. It's nice to have a place to talk to people.
***OHD, well Abby didn't come with a manual but at the hospital I was at they did make you watch like 7 videos before taking her home, lol! Thanks for the encouragment :)
***hillbillylee and Pequin, I promise I will :)
***Readyfor18, Your welcome!
***Kdel, 8 A.M.!!!! I'm not even awake at 8 A.M. !!! hehe, can't it wait till nine? hehe, That's cool that you're running the place, weild that power!!! Abby's eye is doing much better, she doesn't even notice it anymore, only I do :p

Well, today went really well, I got my exercise video in the mail and did exercise part A, they suggest doing that for 2 weeks before moving on to part B. It was great, very short but I could feel the burn!! Just right for a new mommy! I think I'll do it twice though, for a little more of a challenge.
Eating went really well. I really do miss those 100 calories but I know it will be worth it in the long run. I've lost 2 more lbs which means I have lost 5.5 lbs since beginning to cut my calories 3 weeks ago. I'm so excited for myself, yay! I seriously have all you guys to thank :) I'm going to have to hang around here even when I have lost all the weight to make sure I maintain it! No, really, I owe you all so much! For calories I did good, here's what I had today:

Breakfast: Bagel with margarine (330)

Snack: grapes (90)

Lunch: Fishstick dinner (360)

Snack: Cheez-its (130)

Dinner: Chicken Alfredo (420) and garlic toast (130)

Beverages: Crystal light (40)

1500 calories total!! Yay! See ya tomorrow everyone!!

Way to go on the loss girlie!! *shakes pom poms* Slow and steady, slow and steady, you're doing an awesome job! :)

Thanks everyone!!! be_gone_soon... yeah I'm feling the burn :p Thank God she's being easy on me though because it's a postnatal workout.

Well today was very good and uneventful. I did exercise A on my workout video twice and now I feel like I cannot walk up and down the stairs without my legs collapsing under me, but other than that I was just pretty lazy. I don't have a lot of time to post because we're cleaning pretty hard core around here. My mom used to make everything spotless before my grandma came over and now she's passed that complex on to me. I have to have everything spotless before she comes over now and she's coming for the night on Saturday. She's going to take Abby for the night and give us some relief though so that will be great. Anyway, today went really good with eating. I really wasn't hungry all day so I didn't have a hard time with calories. Here's what I had ya'll!

Breakfast: granola bar (100)

Snack: grapes (90)

Lunch: soup (420)

Snack: cheez-its (260)

Dinner: chicken breast, chicken rice, green beans (533)

Snack: fudgesicle (60)

Crystal light (40)

Total: 1503 Yay!

You are doing awsome girl! What workout dvd's are you doing?

*** Pequin, lol, yeah, she makes you work! not so much the abs or arms but my legs are killing me.
***Red, I'm doing her postnatal workout called "A new dimension" It is especially designed for getting back in shape after carrying a baby. I think it's great!

Well, today was really good. Abby slept through the night and we laid in bed until almost 11:00. I love it when I sleep in late because that's that much less time that I have to boredom eat while my husband's at work. Lately though I really haven't felt much like eating. It's weird, I used to be hungry all the time but maybe my stomach is shrinking. Anyway, today was just kind of a lazy day, I didn't do much at all. I haven't done my workout video yet today. I'm trying to decide wether or not to do it because I've heard that your supposed to do stuff every other day and that's how you get in shape... I don't know, I'll look it up on the internet, I'll probably end up doing it. I did pretty good with what I was working with for food today. I ran out of grapes last night and my husband and I need to go shopping. I bought some break and bake cookies at the store the other day for my parents when they come down tomorrow, it's going to be hard not to eat them, especially the dough. Hey, is anybody else dreading Thanksgiving because of all of the delicious food? I am, it's going to be hard to resist. I've decided that I am not going to count calories that day. I'm not going to snack on cookies or brownies or anything before the meal(s), I'm not going to eat dessert, I'll eat only until I'm full and then remove myself from the table so I'm not tempted. I think it sounds like a pretty good plan. Anyway, here's what I ate today!

Breakfast: Bagel (330)

Lunch: cereal (270)

Snack: cheez-its (130)

Dinner: fishsticks, easy mac and tartar sauce (600)

Snack: Cheez-its (130)

Beverage: Crystal light (40)

Total: 1500! I'm not missing those 100 calories so much anymore, I'm getting used to being down to 1500. Well, see you later! :)

Looks like a great day NM!!!
And I am pretty much ambivilant about Thanksgiving. I know I'm going to eat way too much but I'll call it my free day, make sure I don't gorge & limit the dessert table. And then make sure I get a very long walk in before I go to bed. It'll be fine - one day won't hurt us too bad, right?

Have a good night!! :D:D:D

Have a good evening!! This is just copied, but I want ed to get to everyone's diaries and don't have a lot of time. Just know I wish you well!

Erica thanks so much for help, your my favorite sister!!! (not a hard competition eh?) Well I think I said pretty much everything in the Personal. Love you and miss you.

Hey newmommy! I hope today is going well! It's so nice of your mom to offer to take the little miss out so you all could have some time alone. It sounds like you have a very supportive and loving family.

Keep up the great work. I'm not too worried about Thanksgiving...yet anyway. My daughter usually spends that holiday with her dad's family so I'll be alone. I usually go home to see my family, but life has been stressful ...or was and I just want some time alone. So I may camp out at home with some movies and "regular" food. At any rate, you'll do fine over the holiday. Enjoy yourself and your family you DEFINITELY deserve it and try to take things in moderation.
