Thanks everyone for the congratulations on my little girl!
T2 Trucker, yeah...the Mike n' Ikes, the in-laws just HAD to send us halloween candy, didn't they?
I always try to hide the box of candy from myself but then my husband drags it out during lunch hour and leaves it when he goes back to work, darn him!
gonnab2cute... it's so easy to say yet so hard to do... (as my husband makes himself a delicious looking bagel somthered in butter) I know I know, I'll try, I promise! *crosses fingers behind back*
Kdel...you're going to be sorry you asked
oh where to I begin... hehe. Well, at around 23 weeks of pregnancy I was diagnosed with gallstones and put on low fat diet (under 20 grams a day
) That slowed down the gallbladder attacks until I hit about 24 weeks, then I started having them every few days, at 36 weeks I began having them everyday and they were causing me to have contractions too, so at 36 weeks 6 days the doctor induced me and I gave birth to my perfectly health 7 lb 5 oz, 19 inch wonder. 2 days later I had gallbladder surgery and they sent me home the next dat, 2 days later I was in the E.R. with bad pain in my belly, they gave me a shot of demerol and sent me home I was back in the next day and they did a scan of my belly, there they accidently found a blood clot in my lung. They immediately forgot about the belly pain, admitted me to the hospital and started me on blood thinners. For the next 3 days the pain got worse and worse to the point where I couldn't talk or move because it hurt so much. It was a million times worse than labor. I spiked a fever of 103 and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. They scheduled a radioactive test for the next day. When they did that they found that I had a leak in my bile duct and that my stomach was full of bile. They needed to do surgery but my blood was so thin from all of the blood thinners that they had to give me 8 bags of human plasma to thicken it. The next day I went in and had a procedure called an ERCP, they went down my throat while I was semi conscious and placed a stent in my bile duct. I was then taken to surgery where I was put on general anesthesia and the bile was sucked out of my belly. I recovered in my hospital for a week after this. Then I went home but the day after I went home I took a nap and when I woke up I only woke up in my mind, not my body, I couldn't talk or move, but I could open my eyes. I was taken to the E.R. They were afraid that a peice of the blood clot had moved into my brain and caused a small stroke. I was kept for 3 nights to do tests. The diagnosis was "sleep paralysis" Where your mind wakes up and your body stays asleep, it's cause by extreme emotional fatigue and severe sleep deprivation. After that I went home and I've been recovering and almost have all my strength back! This is my first baby, and she is 3.5 months old!
To all you others who gave me motivation thank you! That's what I need!
Ohappydaye...well ok...
