You'll definitely be in the single digits in no time - yay! I don't know about you, but since I'm getting closer to my goal(s), I'm starting to obsess a bit about maintenance. I'm afraid I'm going to just keep losing because I've been on this track for a year and don't know how to maintain. Weird, huh? Do you ever feel that way?
Anyhow, great job! I love moving down a size! Keep up the good work.
 
Good stuff lady. I have the oppisite problem, I'm apple shaped, so I can't get a top in a normal store without looking like I'm trying to look like an overweight Pam Anderson!!!:eek:

Okay so I did pretty good with cals yesterday, even though I didn't post all of my food, I have it in my healthfit calculator. But then evening came and I slipped up a little...I ate popcorn with my gals while we watched Narnia. It was air popped, lightly salted and buttered...and very good! So I probably did 1325 yesterday. Still better than any off day I would have had previously! Also ran my usual loop and shaved 3 minutes off my time and Beat that DANG hill!!! I made it to the top!!!!!! Should I mention the fact that their were garbage men picking up the garbage and I did not want to look like a wimp by stopping 3/4 of the way up so I just pushed all the way to the top!!! Oh well, we all have our motivation...mine was to look like I was a real athlete even if I am 165 lbs:p !!! I will post my food later...as I know today will be even better!!! Did jump rope dvd for 40 minutes this am...
 
omg that is so funny! I was jogging with my dog the other day and I saw a group of guys working on the roof of a house down the street, and I was afraid to slow down or stop until I was out of their line of sight. I totally know what you mean about not wanting to look like a wimp.
 
Oh you sure made me laugh this morning.... I can totally relate!! Did you concentrate on your form, and act like you weren't huffing and puffing? ha ha that would be totally me!! YOU BEAT THE DARN HILL!!! YOU DID IT!!! What an awesome victory for you... must have been a great feeling!!! Great way to start the day!! Watch out size 10 pants coming REAL SOON!!! Too funny, I did that just this morning, but it was because I just buzzed by some old ladies at the park and when I got to the hill I didn't want to stop running since the old ladies were walking it at a pretty good clip, so I kept running. I thought I might die, but I did it. I sure hope those old ladies were impressed.:p

Good job Spelin, whatever your motivation is, go with it. It's working for you!
 
Hello all! Had a blah run today...so I made myself power walk further...stayed out for an hour and got all sweaty...thats good:D ! Ate 1345 cals yesterday....ugh. Can't seem to stay around 1200 this week, but today is a new day and I am I bound and determined to stay focused and remain on task! So I will post later. Not so good at posting my food...too darn busy...I would rather post to you all in the time I have!
 
Keep up the good work! Do you ever switch out your run for another type of exercise? It might help the burn-out factor. For me, my knees start to hurt if I run too many days in a row.
I know it's hard to stay around 1200 cal. Esp. if you are exercising a lot. Do you do big salads w/ lettuce other than iceberg? That is a good source of energy. Not too many points either depending on what dressing you use. We use an Asian dressing that is 1/2 point per Tbsp.

Going a little above 1200 calories won't hurt you too much. :) I get bored with exercise too. Sucks, don't it? I just can't seem to find something that interests me for very long. (Of course, that was back when I could actually exercise. :rolleyes: ) Anyway, you are doing great! :D

I work out with my 50 or so DVD and vhs tapes every other day, just so I don't "burn out". Today was just an off day, plus...I am afraid to say it...but I have not been drinking enough water:( ..so I think I am not moving the lactic acid out of my leg muscles, thus making them very tired today. SO I have alread been doing better and have had 36 ounces already and will easily double that before dinner. Sure am peeing alot though:D ! Also adding more protien to my meals, which I have been bad about the past few days too:( ! Getting back on track and I will be up to par in no time:) !

Well I am hitting my posts early today as I am leaving early for the wedding. It is a 3 hour trip South through upstate NY wine country (very beautiful) and we want to stop a 2 wineries in particular. SO I just wanted to leave a few quick posts as I may not have time to post until Sunday evening. I may have a free moment at my friends, but if I do not ...here we go....
Ate 1250 cals yesterday and did better at increasing my protien intake and water intake (64 floz, which is really good for me!) Doing The firm Cardio Blast this AM before we go. Hoping i can fit in a run at my friends house tomorrrow AM and a walk on Sunday after noon (we are leaving the wedding area bright and early as we have a picnic about an hour North of where we live! Yes that is a 4 hour trip!!!!) Hope everyone has a beatiful weekend! Keep moving and stay strong and positive!
