Hey Sarah!! Nice to hear from you!!I only walked twenty minutes yesterday and spent most of my time trying on walking and running shoes ...so I am buying new Walking shoes!!and I Lovem'!! I am so looking forward to having them on my feet. And the day before today I took a 43 Minute walk!! Today I am going to take a 35 Minute walk, weather permitting. I guess its supposed to be really bad today! So we will see!

Truth be told, whatever weight I have lost, I have lost through walking-whether it's been summer nights walking around the neighbourhood or on the eliptical or from the bus stop to home. It's all added up. So- I think you're on the right track.

I'm glad you're incorporating exercise into your days. The spring and summer weather will definitely make the walks more enjoyable and I think you'll lose more when those seasons hit. However, we do want to look good in our tees and shorts- so that should keep us motivated to exercise during the winter!!

Thanks for visiting. Not many people visit my diary I have noticed, probably because I haven't been writing in theirs. I just have this MASS amount of work to do and it seems like I can never keep up ..there are two projects each week, plus a paper due in two weeks on the Egyptian culture, when they were building the Greay Pyramids. I am doing it on the culture as a whole...and the culture of the slaves. Etc. So I am tight for time. Haven't been walking as much as I would like, but did 35 minutes yesterday ..and plan to break more of my new shoes out tomorrow for a 45 minute walk.

thanks Janice for dropping in! Sometimes I don't feel like I am worth it ..its odd really ...

You have hit on something that has happened recently.. I have not been feeling worthy of anything. I am having a hard time keeping up in my school work ..and I have been trying to walk everyday ..but last week I was not able to walk as much as I would have liked ... I first did a 35 minute walk after a week of not walking ..and I hurt so bad!!! But I plan to go out tomorrow for forty five minutes. That should be fun. Its supposed to be nice. It was sunny today, but I had so much work to do in Sociology and still do .. I will be busy for the next week. But I start volunteering at the library next week, near the end, looking forward to it ..

Hey Everyone,
Well I didn't walk today. It was such a MESS!! First the snow came, than the rain and its been raining all day. I plan to go walking tomorrow before going to the hair dressers and to school... Need to work on a paper due tomorrow. I have decided I am taking off March till August. Than I am back full time to school for four terms each year. I need a break, this whole never stop moving is driving me mad!! I need a time lapse between years, and I am back to it come September. I am applying for financial aid for next year. I have done three years just about and I will be on my fourth year next year. I will be a junior than. So I have about two to three more years left. It took me three years to get the first two years done, now it will probably take just as long to get the next two done ..

and I am into 284.2 pounds with my winter jeans on. I will be weighing myself tomorrow morning and will report back about what my scale says ..

Hey Nat,

A break is just what you may need. Some time to focus on personal goals other than school.

The weather has been bad here as well. We had a storm on Friday and now tomorrow we have another round of bad weather- which deters the exercise, sadly. However, try doing something at home Nat, whether its moving to some wicked beats or a few push ups- whatever you can do. Can't wait to see when you are down to the 270's!!! Not too too far :)

I think this is a good decision, i dont know how you do it you always seem to have something due in or something your reading/writing i struggle between going to work and the gym!!!

Ok peeps,
I have to be totally honest. I fell into a huge rut and am now getting myself out of it! Wowser what a couple of stressed out weeks and bad weather to show for it. Today was sunny, but the wind GUSTs are over 40! Gusts over 40! and its already 20 degrees out!!
So I didn't go walking today, nore in the past week ...and I didn't go walking last week...
I really have let myself down, but now I have to pick it up, before I gain all the weigh I lost. I am down to 283. some odd oz...
which is an all time low. Haven't been that low for two years. Feels really good!!

so I am destined for greatness .. I have lost nine pounds since January third. And I am moving forward into the next challenge after the VDAY Challenge is over on Thursday and back to walking. I did buy those shoes for a reason ..walk walk walk!

I am withdrawing from my Sociology class and taking a break from spring to August. I think I need this break to focus on me completely. I have gone through a lot this year and its taken a toll on me ...so ...

I am making a good choice I think ..

I know .. it does feel GREAT!! I am so happy I went walking. Its supposed to be really messy tomorrow ...rain/snow/ice. But maybe I can go out with my boots one and my coat, which is water proof and do a twenty minute walk ..
I used the bench today ..and sucked in my core muscles ... they get smaller when I use the bench and suck in my tummy or core... It gets a lot smaller .. I had started wearing smaller shirts, but I can't fit loosely in them now ...but I have taken up the bench once again.. its kind of like a universal ... its nice! We have our own gym at home, but because I am 36 pounds over the max weight to go on the bike and treadmill mom and Herb has... that I walk outside ... am going to do it more again ...

Just think ..two more days and I put my weight into the VDAY challenges chart!

I am enjoying the challenge ..now I just have to start my own challenge after the VDAY Challenge. I am going to call it "Bring on Spring"


I am reading my "Food Addiction" book again
I am hoping it helps me control my eating ..reteaching me some of the lessons and ways to avoid eating food when I am not hungry ..which is something I have a problem with

So ...Cheers to success!! I will be!!
