My journey to good health....and a hot bod ;)

Day 23

I'm not in a great mood today. I've eaten healthy over the weekend and exercised, and yet i've put on weight! :( ......I weighed myself about 5 minutes ago and according to the scale i've put on 2lb which i'm pretty gutted about. Usually I weigh first thing of a morning on a tuesday, so I won't be recording the weight until tomorrow morning when I do it like usual. Something tells me the scales aren't going to be nice to me tomorrow, I don't mind staying the same, but putting weight on is an entirely different thing altogether. I weighed myself straight after tea and a nice cup of tea, whether or not that makes a difference I don't know.

Today i've had....

3 bags of snack a jacks
1 packet of weight watchers biscuits (2 in a pack)
5 slices of chicken with lettuce and cucumber and an actimel drink
1 bottle of orange juice
5 slices of chicken and a cup of tea
1 glass of milk

Okkkk maybe I did eat quite a bit more than what I thought. But still, 2lb! :( I won't hold my breath for the scales to make me happy tomorrow.

I wasn't planning on exercising tonight because I have some uni work I need to catch up with, but considering what the horror i've just seen, I reckon I need to. (It is a big deal, i've gone from being in the 11stones to the 12's :(
 
Well i'm not halfway through my exercise (I take a 5 min break between the cardio and toning section). And quite honestly I still feel like crap. I'm genuinely dreading stepping on the scale tomorrow, if it still shows i've put on 2lb, i'll have to change my ticker which really is putting me a step back rather than forward :(

No chinese for me on friday night if this doesn't improve!

Sorry to hear that yesterday wasn't that great..but look at you!!! *happy dance* You've done great!

I know that sometimes it can be very disheartening when the scale shows a + number...but that's dependent on so many things! Time of day, the clothes you're wearing, water/salt intake, what you've eaten that day!! So don't give up! :)

Have you taken your measurements? I did that, and I found that my weightloss hasn't been that exciting, but my inches have been better!! You might want to try that! Sometimes you see the inches dropping faster than the pounds- as you're probably putting on muscle weight :) Which is AWESOME :)

Keep up the great work! You're going to get to your goal :)

Yeahhh i've thought of doing this. Keeping check on inches, i'm going back home at the weekend so hoping to pinch a tape measure off my Granny! :)

Day 24

Today has went well, i've had.....

2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk
1 packet of snack a jacks
2 bananas
1 activia yogurt drink
1 packet of weight watchers biscuits (2 in a pack)
2 pieces of cod (90 cals each)
 
Well i'm not having a great day today, I feel really down and ready to cry basically.

I catch sight of myself in the mirror when going around uni/my home etc etc and I think yeah i'm looking better I can see a difference. And I feel all great.

Then today i'm feeling like crap, i'm all bloated, i'm shattered and really can't be bothered doing any exercise but i'm going to have to. Because I thought ok i'm going to have a look at myself on my mac camera, I took a few photos and now i'm ready to cry, I keep thinking omg am I really that bad? It seems to show me alot more massive than what I see in the mirror and overall it's just made me feel down because I thought I was looking good and clearly i'm not!

Nobody has to read my rant, I just wanted to get that out it's more a rant to myself than anyone else.

Oh and dare I mention stretch marks?......I swear mine are getting worse despite losing weight. Grrr!

I'm sorry you're having such a bad day :( You've got to focus on the positives though, you're doing the right thing and you're eating healthy and hey you've already lost 10 pounds!
Every time I feel bad about how I look I just think, well I used to look worse!
Hope you feel better soon, keep up the exercise,

Thanks Jess! Yeah I was just thinking that "well if I quit i'll look even worse".

Think i'm just having one of those days where everything depresses me, ha! Don't we all have them.

Sorry your having such a down day hunni but you keep your chin up, im sure tomorrow you will feel alot better. Im really pleased that you managed to do your exercises, you go girl!

Thanks :) I think i'm just having a few off days where I feel like crap. I feel a bit better today though, another lb gone! :)
 
Day 25

I haven't eaten much today, mainly because I fell asleep in the middle of the day so missed lunch time and I haven't really been hungry/craving anything.

So today i've had.....

2 packets of snack a jacks
1 packet of weight watchers biscuits (2 in a pack)
1 banana
2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk

I'm not sure i'm going to do my exercise tonight. I might give it a miss to get some uni work done but i'm not sure, see how I feel later :)
 
Well this is me so far. 11lbs down. I didn't realise I looked so bad. In particular it's my stomach and shoulders I hate the most. Hopefully they will change fairly soon, preferably before August.

Anyway this is more for me than anyone else so I can see how my body changes month to month. So here are my body shots, i'm a little nervous posting them on the net :$

Girl, give yourself a pat on the back! It takes courage to post any kind of picture on the net here! And you look good! But it's about you being happy with yourself :)

Chin up! You're doing an amazing job! Look at what you've already accomplished with your hard work - you loss 10 lbs!! *happy dance* You should be VERY VERY proud of yourself! That's not an easy feat- and you did it!

I think we all have those days, where we just feel miserable about ourselves! Heck, today I'm having one! But i keep reminding myself that I'm working hard, and eating right, and WILL see results! Just like you! If you keep doing the stuff you're doing, there's no way you won't reach your goals! You got this girl!

Keep up the great work! You can do this! And you're awesome!
 
Thank you very much for your encouragement Tik, I love the support I receive from you, I don't know where you get all the positiveness from but I love it! :)

I've been thinking today about what I want to get from this lifestyle, and i'm hoping to reach a goal of size 8-10 which is pretty ideal considering my height.

Today i've skived on the exercise but i've justified that because i've eaten really little today so i'm not too worried.

Yep, this weekend i'm going back to Newcastle to see my family (i'm away at uni at the moment), i'm still looking forward to that chinese tomorrow night! Saturday i'll be shopping and film night with my family, go over to my Mums on Sunday and then back to uni on Monday.

How about you? Anything exciting? :)
