My journey to good health....and a hot bod ;)

Today hasn't been great.........I feel like i've eaten loads and i'm so bloated, but i'm not worried too much because the stuff i've eaten is low calories. I just haven't had regular meals (thanks uni!) thanks to my time table and day plan so just had to eat whenever I can. This is my list anyhow.....

3 large snack a jacks
3 Actimel yogurt pots
2 Bananas
1 packet of snack a jacks
2 packets of weight watchers biscuits (2 in a packet)
a corned beef salad (with lettuce and cucumber)

And that's that for the day. Hopefully tomorrow I can get back to my routine of breakfast, lunch and dinner :)
 
Ah i'm pretty excited today! Stepped on the scales this morning, and i've lost 7lbs in total in my first week. I'm pretty chuffed! It's definately nice to see results, I must be doing something right! So now i'm at 170lbs.

Wow, what made you stay down there during the holidays also? I'm constantly back to my hometown! Usually every 2 weeks :$ ha, you could call me a weakling! I miss my family too much.

Yep i'm first year, of Criminology. What year you in?
 
Day 8

So today is day 8 and quite honestly, I can say that i'm exhausted. Too many late nights essay writing and early mornings the next day. I'm totally aiming for an early night tonight.

Today i've had....

2 bananas
1 packet of weight watchers cookies (2 to a pack)
2 actimel pots
1 pack of snack a jacks
Weight watchers spagetti bolognease
500ml bottle of pure orange juice.

I know it may seem like i've eaten basically nothing but snack type meals, but those of you who have studied/are a student will know how somedays you just don't have the time to sit down and have a meal, so alot of the time is spent on the go. So yeah, just in case anyone thinks i'm deliberately eating low - I actually just didn't have time. And I also didn't have any milk to have weetabix for breakfast :(

Ohh and I should also mention that I am doing my workout dvd today. Will be starting that pretty much any minute now. *Yawns* as if I have the energy for that! Ha, have to find some, somewhere!!
 
Well that's my exercise done for this evening. I'm well and truely shattered now. Going to have a nice shower and head to bed. Lovely!

Ha I realised tonight I hardly realise i'm exercising, I just do the workout dvd on autopilot, I was stunned when the cardio part was over. I didn't even realise! (I've had it for 4 years now).

I'm in third year, by the way :) Stay down in Portsmouth because it's much nicer than Reading! My friends come down to stay all the time so I don't miss home very much!

Day 9

Day 9.....wow already?! How times flies!

So it's only day 9, and already i'm starting to notice subtle changes to my body. The layer of fat underneath my abs is slightly smaller, the pocket of fat on the back of my left thigh (my right doesn't have one, ha wierd!) is starting to disappear. Also, I have two small pockets of fat on my back at the top, they are starting to look smaller too. YAY! It's nice to see hard work paying off, even if the changes are only minor.

Today i've had......

2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk
5 slices of chicken with lettuce and cucumber
2 large snack a jacks
2 packets of weight watchers cookies (2 to a pack)
2/3 actimel yogurt drinks (I can't remember)

And i've just finished my work out dvd, again I was doing it on autopilot, didn't even realise I was doing things and suddenly I was almost at the end!

Overall i'm quite pleased with todays turnout! :)
 
Another good day hun :party: Glad to hear your noticing a difference now. I so wish I could do an exercise dvd but we're living in a flat (house it is really but we have the upstairs) and our landlord runs his buisness below us so I couldnt really be jumping around lol he would go mad... Cant even do it in the evenings because most nights hes there until 8-9 pm and after that I just cant be bothered lol

Yeah I understand that. Usually 8:30 is the latest i'd do a workout dvd. I just can't be bothered after that. That sucks quite a bit actually that you can't do one! :(
 
Day 10

Wow, today I have done pretty much nothing but sit on my backside all day. Essay writing, watching programmes. How lazy do I sound? Ha!

I've had......
2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk
2 yogurt drinks
2 large snack a jacks

And now, i'm just about to make myself a nice 'sunday' dinner. Sausages with mash and yorkshire puddings. I imagine it's not very healthy, but really sunday dinners are something I plan on having weekly throughout my life so i'm not prepared to give them up!

I'm not sure i'll do my exercise dvd today, I have an essay deadline tomorrow, so it really depends on how that goes. (Fingers crossed I get it finished soon!)
 
Well today i'm really ashamed of myself. I gave in to my cravings and ordered Dominos. It hasn't even arrived yet and i'm already regretting it!

My reasoning was that today all i've had is a packet of weight watchers biscuits (2 in a pack) and a grab bag of quavers, which is what?........281 calories? As you can imagine, by now i'm starving and I have very little in (few weight watchers meals but don't feel as though they will fill me at this point). So I caved and bought Dominos.

Not only that, because i've been sleeping this afternoon (joys of being a student), by the time I have my tea, it will be far too late to do some exercise. So yeah, i'm feeling a bit like crap right now.

Back on the bandwagon tomorrow!!!!
 
So today i've had another crap day. Done absolutely no exercise because i've been out all day (just got back now). But on the bright side, I haven't eaten that much.

2 large snack a jacks.
And a large bag of malteasers.

Wow! :lol:
 
Day 13

So I weighed myself today. Put on a pound. But i'm ok with that......considering I had a take out on friday night, it could have been worse.

Today i've eaten.....

2 weetabix with semi skimmed milk
Chips with fish fingers :eek:

And that's about it so far. I think I may have a weight watchers meal for tea, and then do my workout dvd. I'm determined to get back to this healthy eating regime......be much easier tomorrow when I get back to ASDA and stock up on healthy goodies :)
 
Kind of frustrated with myself. So I set out to do my workout dvd, halfway through my calves and ankles are killing me. I understand when exercising you can expect pain, but they were really hurting. Like seizing up with a strong aching pain. So i've stopped. It's kind of hard to bounce around when your ankles are really hurting.

Think I might go to the gym tomorrow night. At least if i'm there, the exercise isn't the kind where you jump around.

Thoroughly gutted today. And i've well and truely let myself down the past couple of days.
