AUgh stupid lost post!

I'm back!!!!

Thanks for popping in while I was gone, it was cool to come back and have my diary on the front page.

I did NOT eat in and out burger, or doughnuts, or almond m&ms which people had recommended to me.

I did eat my share though.

I dom't think I've put on much since I was last here, but I'll check the damage in a couple of days when I've settled back in. We bought groceries on the way home from the airport, and I've already logged today's food! I'm determined to get back into weight loss mode.

Hope you all are doing well, and I'll be checking in on you'all when I can!

A good first day back.

Today I'm going for a big hill walk, and maybe a swim.
 
Good job avoiding the junk food! When I was out in Cali, I would have definitely hit an In-and-Out if we had the time. I think it's a good thing we didn't!

Yesterday I went on a big hill walk, it was a shock to the system, although I'm feeling pretty good today. The weather was beautiful so dad and I went up into the hills overlooking the beach and city and port, we then met up with Mum for some lunch.

Food

L 2x bread and blue cheese spread
S some fudge and an ice block
D homemade seafood chowder yum yum
Quite a few coffees today

Cal food 2000 exercise about 1000

Today's the anniversary of our baby's death,so I'm not going to worry about cals etc. I'll still try to log it later though just for consistency.
 
AI broke even on cals today, with no real exercise. Feeling extra heavy because of my sad heart.

Tomorrow is my first day back at work, thought I'd come here and plan my day. I'm going to walk the dog before work... A 6 km walk, and will go to the gym after work on my way home. Food will be easy with leftover lentil salad and chicken for lunch. I might make some soup for dinner.

AIt's meant to be summer, but it's cold and hailing. I went for a walk with my dog before work, but felt too tired to go to the gym after work. Food has been good, I made cauliflower soup for dinner, which was a new recipe and yummo.

S rice crackers and cottage cheese

I might still have a hot choc which is another 160 cals
 
Hi Anna, I just read your diary & will keep up with it from now on. My sympathy to you sweetie on the death of your little girl Maria. That is very sad & I feel for you. I am sending you a great big hug & best wishes for you to be able to have another baby. It is admirable that you are not turning your grief into comfort eating. Well done. xoxo Cate:grouphug:
 
AThanks Cate, when I went to a support group, half the people were very overweight, and I knew that could be me, and that I needed to be careful at least not to get any heavier. Even though I haven't lost much weight this year, I'm ending the year fitter and a little lighter, so I feel positive about that.
 
AWell I've had a not so good day today. I had a night shift last night which is always dangerous for eating and getting tired and not exercising, then today I went to my niece and nephew's school fair, and ate the kind of food that goes along with a school fair. Ugh. And I've been craving bad food all day too. Bummer. I just realized I forgot to put some of the stuff I ate into mfp so I'm def over on cals today.... So dumb.

Tomorrow is another day. Rather than write down today's downfall I think i'll write my planned meals for tomorrow, which will hopefully getme off to a good start.

S banana protein powder shake
D not sure but low carb.
2 glasses of wine w lynda tomorrow night.

I'm planning to walk 6km tomorrow which means I'll have walked a half marathon since Monday. I'm planning to beat that next week, starting on Monday again.

Sounds good! I tried to walk my dog this morning, but came back, I couldn't make it up the up grade. But if I keep up my walking with "walking at home DVD" I will make it by March. I still believe people need to eat to be healthy, lay off the snack foods and exercise.


I boiled two eggs but only could eat one this morning 1 rice cake with almond butter, coffee and water. I did 25 minutes willl Leslie Sansone walk at home video. I am glad you are back!
 
Finally I managed to log on! The transition to the new website or whatever, wasn't seemless it seems!

I was so energised and motivated the other night when I was posting here, and I kept losing my posts, but I'm still feeling motivated. I had the idea, and goal of trying to do 800 cals exercise every day for a while, and I managed it on Monday with gardening and yard work, and Tuesday with a dog walk 4km and then a hill walk of 6km, on Wed i did an hour of mowing (not the ride on!) and then a 6km walk with my friend who walks really fast and makes me talk all the way! Today I failed... a fast 3km walk and then a stupid day of not getting what I wanted done done.

In Christchurch we had a couple of big earthquakes 2 years ago, and the city is still in demolition and rebuild mode, the roads are terrible, and it seems like the roading authority have set themselves the target of pissing off everyone in the lead up to xmas!

Anyway I've been doing really well on the eating front and I feel like I'm on a downwards roll. I'm looking forward to my next official weigh in because the scales were looking pretty good this morning.

Part of the exercise I'm doing is a training plan for walking a half marathon, the half is in Feb, and I can't actually do it, but i'm planning to complete the traning anyway. Tomorrow I'll do the 8km loop near my house, it's fun for the dog because there are alot of irrigation ditches she can cool off in, and fun for me because I'll be achieving my goal.

It's bucketing down outside, and I'm having a lie in, I've been working evenings so thought I'd try and catch a few extra zzzs this morning. I'm watching the rain mentally preparing for my walk. I was really hungry when I woke up, and as I made brekkie (2eggs and 1 toast) I thought, is this all I can eat for brekkie for the rest of my life.... Argh. I think a plate of pancakes and bacon and maple syrup would have hit the spot nicely.... But I guess that's how I got to 225+ pounds eh?

I've mostly been feeling satisfied hunger wise, so I think I was just having a bad moment.

I've been reading someone's running blog, and feel inspired to add a bit of jogging, I was jogging at the start of the year and got up to about 7 km, but hurt my knee one day when I overdid things. I'm going to be really careful to not injure myself because that would be a real set back.
 
Your next post should be, "Just finished my walk and it was great. So glad I did that!" Now get to it!

I'm just back from my walk!!! and i did some sprints squats mountain climbers and step ups too. Feeling virtuous!
