U are cruising-along on healthy eats .....hope you chance to get to the market soon & get some more of those healthy veggies - a well stocked "healthy foods" fridge is sur-fire for success with food.


Weekly plan for food/exercise sounds really good ( I think I read somewhere - Fail to plan, then Plan to fail.....lol....) - this way you will have set-time to fit-in the exercise, and set foods to get for your groceries - sounds win-win.


Hope you have a nice weekend , and hope that early-up this AM for work not too tiring for ya ( need our proper sleep & rest to keep weight-loss rocking - ....):sleeping:

Well my day yesterday was a bit of a write off, there were treats at work, and causes hadn't planned my food well I ate em. I added up my day, and it wasn't actually the worst, just some poor food choices and maintainance cals rather than weight loss cals. I'm ok about it and am off to a good start today. Scrambeled eggs and smoked salmon. Yumyum.

Hey Anna - Happy Saturday - a break-even calorie-maintenance day is OK . ( far better than calorie blow-out & gain...eeek...)

( I had 2 eggs this AM myself - I find eggs are a nice treat on weekends.)

I had two days like that, but I'm back on the straight and narrow now. Just need to get out into the rain for some exercise, but i'm struggling with motivation....
 
Looks like you are doing pretty good! It's definitely hard to get motivated on a rainy day, though I am lucky that it doesn't so much affect my exercising as I have a gym in my condo building, but it affects a lot of other things I would do. And so I stay at home a bit more, and even though some of the other things I want to do but don't aren't exercise, any getting up and moving around burns more calories than just chilling!!
 
Hey Anna - glad to hear U are back on track - home stretch to vctn gal -

... & yup - I'm not too quick to head-outdoors in the rain - ....although spring-time last year - I was training for a charity-walk & did venture out a couple times in rain-coat for some outside strolling.... hope the Sunshine is back soon - so U can get out there & crunch some calories.


? do you do any indoor excercise? .... aerobics/Zumba DVDs?.... ex.bike? treadmill? local gym ?

AI did get out for a walk after the rain passed through yesterday, and I walked again this morning 6km with the dog. I live rurally but work in town, so I walk with the dog at home, and also use a gym and swimming pool on days when I'm in town. Today I did the walk and also had a gym workout, because I was going out for dinner with some friends and wanted to eat guilt free. We went to a Moroccan restaurant, which had healthy choices, I had a chicken soupy thing with barley and salad, was yummy and not too calorific I think.

B - toast x 2 w peanut butter
L - salmon- sushi and miso soup
D - moroccan soup w barley and salad
I also had 3 coffees and a peppermint tea and lots of water.

Tomorrow's exercise will be another dog walk and hopefully a class at the gym after work.

4 sleeps till we head off on holidays yay!
 
Hey Anna - good work on getting out to exercise ( even with icky weather)....

& great plan to balance eating out calories with some extra-exercise.

Yay I dropped some weight today... love it when it shows on the scales.


So I cam back here 4 weeks ago tomorrow, and was 101.6kg (224lbs) and now I'm 97.4 (215) kg so thats a 4kg loss!!! I'm pretty happy with myself.


I'm feeling fitter and satiated and my clothes are looser.... so cool.


I just need to keep up the good work while on vacation!

AWell I've just finished packing for my trip to U.S.A, we fly out tonight and arrive in L.A 14 hours later. The last couple of days have been ok diet and exercise wise. I've packed my gym gear and HRM, and am hoping to be active every day while holidaying. My plan is to come back same weight or lighter.

Not sure when I'll write here again, early next week I think.

AHey all, just popping in while the wifi is good. I've been doing ok on the eating so far, but man it's hard! The food here is plentiful and delicious. I've been sticking to salads ( dressing on the side) and half size breakfasts, and no doughnuts so far. We found a cool app called help which shows non-chain restaurants, and so have had some yummy food in small cafe style diners. Oh and the Mexican food! Yum. Anyway, we've got a gym for the next 3 days so I'm going to get stuck into that!

Good luck eating as well as possible on your trip, it is always hard! My hardest part is when I get back I have an impossible time getting back on track!! But YOU can do it!!

Hey Anna B, hang in there! I am sticking to exercise too, but my eating habit is not where I want it to be, yet.
