Today was probably a lot better in terms of food but as I started the dreaded period today it's most likely playing havoc with my weight so I'm waiting a week before a I get on the scales again.

Thanks for leaving comments everyone I'll try my best to reply...

missprinces: Well the day was certaibly damp but your reply was something my mum had pointed out to me as well. I expect my period is wreking havoc with my weight just now so not even going to bother weighing myself until next Wednesday or so.

Hypo: thanks for the message!:D

Cannon: Yeah it wouldn't look too good if it was only a day eh, mind you it would have done to the "old me" hehehe. It was actually the Trinidad and Tobago game I was watching as I sort of adopted them as my team when Scotland didn't qualify (there are a few player from my home town club in the Trinidad team you see)

sillygirl: thank you again for your kind message, consider my back patted!

spellin: thanks again for your messages, I'll be off to visit your diary as soon as I finish this post!

smallerbytheday: Glad my diary could offer some info that might be useful hope you've had a good week.

L-Jay: As long as I get the last few pounds off so that I'll have lost 14lbs in total by the end of this month I'll be happy.

favouritecrayon: Don't worry about not posting, I've been a bit tied up myself recently. I hope to reach my goal before September so I can not feel too out of place in Oxford (everyone is so lovely there).

missprincess, Hypo and twinmom: Yes the cramps are really bad, I may well have a bath tomorrow in a bid to get rid of them.

emmmcookie: well done for walking to work! I'd walk to work too but it'd take me an age!:( Cycling will get me there much quicker I think!:D

Crunchie, you still inspire me ...as you stay on track and keep motivated even through the dreaded TOM!!! Did I read somewhere that you will be attending Oxford this fall?...WOW! You continue to impress me!

I was rooting for Trinidad too--I had a student a few years back that I was really fond of. I wonder how much of my lack of willpower yesterday had to do with the US performance. Did I see you're going to Oxford? Man, I'm jealous--I spent the best summer of my life there 20 years ago. Geez, I'm getting old.

Oxford wow. I hope to go there when i finish school my dad went there and my best friends brother is going next year as well! Well done with the food you are doing great! However i can't help but be a lil betrayed by the fact you adopted t&t over England lol :). Hope you are having a great day!!

Supper: fruit juice, small portion of fresh pineapple
Exercise: gym session (400cal), swimming session (44 lengths)
Fizzy juice: none
Water: 2 x 500ml bottle, 5 glasses

No no no no no no heck no I'm not brainy enough to go to the big uni in Oxford!

I attended Oxford Brookes university which is a newer one but I'm only going back for the graduation party (graduated in December last year), I'm glad it's all over now though!

favouritecrayon: I'm afraid the fact I have no ties to England means I can't get too worked up about them in the world cup. Trinidad and Tobago had two players that currently play for my home town team in their squad so that was why I wound up rooting for them. You'll be enjoying the run England have had so far no doubt though!:)

Anyway today looks like I ate a whole lot but as I did a lot of exercise it doesn't really feel too bad. A few things conspired to make me get into the swimming baths a bit later than usual so only did 44 lengths tonight. Had a good session in the gym before-hand anyway. Due to my TOM I'm having cravings just now for bad things, I've managed to resist the chocolate one but gave into the salty food one today and took a 113cal packet of low fat crisps!

I'm definately away to vist some other diaries now! I've been very naughty and been lax about doing this this week!:(

but twinmom you must have had annoying popular bratty folk in your school as well? I was never popular so the idea of setting a group of large venemous arachnids on the popular ones was very amusing.

I remember when we did football (soccer) at school they split the girls up from the boys. I was the only one that knew how to play football so I told some of the popular girls to stand in the goal and I'd take shots into them. They were quite chuffed when they saved a few but what they didn't realise was that I was hitting the ball as hard as I could hoping it'd hit them. How evil am I! :D

Anyway today has been OK so far, I'm stuck in the library I don't like and one of the ladies has bought cakes for everyone. I've got a donut apparently and don't wish to be ungrateful so I'm taking it home with me, my dad can have it.:)

So far...

Fruit and cereal bar
Tuna mayo sandwich on wholemeal bread
portion of cherries
fruit smoothie
in the middle of a 500ml bottle of diet irn bru

Lol

I'm sure they deserved it! :D

Yeah, I was not just a nerd, I was a band geek - drumline is cool for guys but gets you called names if you are a girl. I don't begrudge you your prom fantasies. They sound like a good B-movie to me! :p

Good for you giving Dad the donut! I have a much harder time parting with pastries once I've accepted them. I do pretty well saying, no thanks at non-family events though. I'd have to, I'm terrible about absent-minded munching, so I've been working on improving that for years. As for pot-shots at the popular girls, as long as you didn't cause any actual injury, then let it all out! But not caring about what they think has always been more effective for me. I've never fit in to ANY "group" and also never cared. I have some friends, and I like my life, and anyone who thinks I should look, talk, dress, or act some other way can p*ss off. It makes me happy to think that way. Feel free to try it some time. :D Take care!

I am currently sitting here with a glass of water with ice cubes in jelly so fear not!

Dad says the donut was very nice! :D There is a bakers next door to the library where I work in Denny that does fresh baked cakes etc and I think every Saturday the staff must take turn each at buying cakes. Thing is with the fresh made donuts there tends to be a lot of grease on the bags and that helped put me off a bit. Went across to the market and bought some cherries and a fruit smoothie instead.:)
